They were helpful and friendly. We had an excellent experience with this moving company from start to finish. The team was punctual, professional, and handled our belongings with great care. They worked efficiently while still being mindful of fragile items, and everything arrived safely without a single issue.
Pricing was fair and transparent—no surprises at the end—and the entire move was completed faster than expected. If you’re looking for a reliable, honest, and hardworking moving company in Atlanta, this is the one. I would absolutely use them again and recommend them to anyone moving locally or long-distance.
I was told this was going to be a 2 day move from Houston to Dallas, which would be reasonable. The guys finish up packing at 4 pm on Thursday and I am told that they are moving everything up, same day. I told them that isn’t what I was told multiple times (I have it in writing) and they told me if I didn’t move it the same day I wouldn’t get my stuff until Sunday. I had 10 minutes to get everything I needed in order to drive up to Dallas since I was not preparing to move same day. I agree since I could not wait until Sunday to have access to literally everything I own. They show up to Dallas at 9PM and don’t finish the move until 12:30 AM and that is with my help. Things were moved into the wrong room and not put together correctly. The one thing they did well was pack everything up originally.
Terrible Experience with this companyI recently used Adam's Moving & Storage for a Local Move and it was a horrible experience. In addition to the terrible service, when I told them bookshelf's were in the wrong room, they just ignored me and walked away, they assured me they could move my piano and put it on the second floor, but the guys were not prepared for this when they showed up and they just put it on the first floor, when I spoke to them about it they didn't respond, then the office called and said they guys can't do that. But I disclosed and they assured me that they could and their response was well, we can't. So now on top of paying them for a job they didn't complete I have to hire another company and pay them to move the piano.When I told them what a terrible experience I had and asked how they planed on making the situation right, they said weren't going to, end of story. I'm also missing several framed photographs and the damaged the legs of my kitchen table. I had labeled every box with the floor and room the boxes went in and they just dumped everything wherever they wanted, most of the boxes they just dumped on the first floor and I had to carry up myself.Several plastic storage containers were just tossed and then fell over and the lids came off and everything spilt out.I did a video call before the move and they not only did they have an itemized list of everything they were moving but actually saw it and assured me this was a one trip move... it was not and then I had to pay extra for a second trip.They also promised me 4 guys and 2 showed up, so the move took longer, and paying by the hour, this mistake was at my expense as well. Absolutely Terrible Experience! I recently used Adam's Moving & Storage for a Local Move and it was a horrible experience. I had them show up and move me. Everything went good until they lost some of my stuff when I was talking to the guy he said oh you don’t need insurance. We never lose stuff. That was my bad. Don’t trust anybody these people are far and away the worst, I would never use them ever again and if you’re smart, you’ll go on and find another moving company also don’t let them talk you out of getting insurance it was my bad for believing the guy who is handling my move

My move with Adams Moving and Storage was smooth overall. The movers came prepared, packed the truck neatly, and made sure nothing was damaged during the trip. I appreciated the way they stayed focused until the job was done.
Recently used this brokerage. They charged 9K for the move from KY to GA. The truck was too small and had to leave behind a significant amount of furniture (Had to have my brother make trips to KY to get it). They showed up in a Rental Truck and said it was the largest truck they had. Then they refused to unload the truck until they were paid in full (note they took half up front). After they unloaded the truck there was damage to multiple pieces of furniture but since they just dumped everything in the new place the damage was not noticed until after they left. This is a warning to everyone who is moving do not use this company they are terrible and take no responsiblity for the companies they subcontract to.
4 weeks and the truck hasn't even left the pickup state!! I've been sleeping on an air mattress for over a month and they haven't even started heading out to me. What a horrible company. I've called multiple times and sent an email, management is radio silent.

They initially gave me a reasonable quote, but once they had my belongings loaded, they jacked up the price with hidden fees and bogus charges, leaving me no choice but to pay more than agreed.To make matters worse, after unpacking, I realized that several of my items were missing, including a backpack and expensive perfumes. When I contacted them about the theft, they were dismissive and refused to take responsibility.
