DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY. Here’s why. I put 2 clients in the Growth Commander annuity and placed them in the S&P IQ Index. Regardless of the explanation how this index is managed, ANYONE would Assume it is based upon the S&P Index (It’s in the title), right? WRONG? In one contract the client should have been credited with approximately 12% since that is what the S&P went up over the first year. THEY CREDIT HER WITH .05%. Another client should have received about 16%, THEY WERE CREDITED WITH LESS THAN ONE. When I approached Americo about this I just got disclaimers about how it was not the “original” S&P so the returns don’t compare. WHY HAVE THE S&P name in it if it doesn’t REMOTELY reflect the S&P. THAT’S OUTRIGHT DECEIT!! Additionally, every company has 30 days to reallocate at the anniversary, BUT NOT AMERICO. They only give 14 days so now I can’t even reallocate away from this disaster. This is a rip off, money grab, and just downright wrong. AVOID THIS COMPANY!!!

Daughter worked here for 2 weeks..Americo's script is based on lying to customer (VETRANS) to make sale..Company buys leads...She made a big sale without lying and less than a week later sale was stolen from her..she snapped screenshot of sales people bragging about lying to make a sale..not good..dont go here.

Just wanted to reaffirm that they still issue policies in Pennsylvania (as their state list on their website doesn't include Pennsylvania) and what their 2023 rate is going to be. Transferred 3 places and no answers. 2 stars because the people I spoke with were nice.
