They have consistently been responsive. My Cavalier King Charles Spaniel has 2 serious health conditions & they have paid large amounts. We are so grateful, and could not recommend them enough.
I’ve that all my pets insurance w them for over 10years and would never be without. Coverage is excellent and affordable. Claims are processed quickly and when more information is needed THEY actually will reach out to my vet which makes things go so much faster. With all the other companies out there, I wouldn’t even entertain the thought of changing.
Easy to use App with fast response time. Love that I can also talk to a Vet with questions.
Very bad experience with this company. Unresponsive and cold when my pet died . I had to call 4 times for my claim to be processed correctly.
Enrollment was easy and the customer service was exceptional.
We’ve had ASPCA pet insurance for our English Bulldog since we got him at eight months, and they are so quick to respond to our claims. And their app is so easy to navigate.
They are fraud stay away from ASPCA . They got claim for my doctor for Anal Sac Disease and all notes and records indicated clearly by licensed vet reason for visit Anal Sac Disease. ASPCA instead of paying for this claim denied me and said reason for denial: ALLERGY - preexisting. When i called each time spoke to someone who clearly couldn’t understand basic English which was frustrating. But finally spoke to a manager and she said YOU ARE CORRECT this is NOT allergy or preexisting not sure why denied for that. You provided all evidence and papers THIS IS ANAL SAC disease reason for vet visit. I said to the manager can you mow pay the claim since finally someone cared to check and agreed you denied us incorrectly, she said No ma’am. It is already denied but if you like file a appeal takes 90days hopefully second time whoever review it check all forms correctly and pay the claim. This is clearly SCAM from insurance company. We donated yearly to apcsa cancelled that immediately and not cancelling my policy because that is what they want refuse to pay and refuse to make corrections so you get frustrated and cancel move on But we are going to file formal complaint against them as we have all evidence this is fraud act by refusing to pay the claim based on the policy we paid for years.
We have had ASPCA Pet Insurance for over 4 years without any issues. This past year we have used the insurance covering our 2 dogs and claims were submitted and completed timely and we were completely satisfied. I would highly recommend ASPCA for pet insurance.
Representative thoroughly explained my policy. Reimbursement process was simple.
I had high hopes for this insurance based on reviews and that it was affiliated with the ASPCA. PSYCH! It’s NOT! This is an advertising scheme! When I submitted a recent claim (February 2026) for my 11 month old dog’s illness that was denied, I called and was told that there was a 14 day waiting period due to new insurance (I’ve had and been paying this premium since August of 2025). I asked to speak with another customer service rep to get more clarification who told me something completely different. I then asked to be transferred to a supervisor who spoke over me for the entire conversation and then said, LITERALLY, if I had waited longer to bring my dog in for treatment, my bill may have been covered. I have paid over $800 and been reimbursed less than $100 AFTER paying $1800 in vet bills. Avoid at all costs. Lemonade has more comprehensive coverage without all the sketchy caveats. Don’t let these people take advantage of you. THIS COMPANY WILL DO ANYTHING TO NOT PAY. DO NOT RISK YOUR PET’S HEALTH BY USING THIS SHADY COMPANYRegarding your response: Since you know I have been in touch with customer service, you should be able to review the calls and determine the ineptitude of your employees and the conflicting answers I received. I appreciate that you took time to read my review and react! Now fix yourself. ALSO, for anyone reading this, the only reason why there are “verified” reviews with 4 or 5 stars is because ASPCA Insurance INVITED them to review by sending a link after a favorable experience. They are less “verified” than those of us that came on here to leave honest feedback.
I used to love this company with my previous cat. I’d submit what’s needed and they’d reimburse me with no issues. I adopted a new cat and now they keep asking for the same documents multiple times and have not approved a single claim while still taking my money every month. They’ve turned into a scam.
Excellent customer service. Thank you for keeping within the United States and not sourcing out. Your prices are affordable and fair—our beloved pets need that now with out-of-control veterinary care prices. Please consider better dental health preventative coverage.
ASPCA is incredibly helpful. Site is easy to navigate and they are very communicative. As my dog has gotten older he has needed more care. ASPCA has processed my claims in a timely fashion and I’m really grateful I’ve not had to worry about or wait for reimbursements.
Great insurance. Processed claims immediately. Will always have this insurance.
Looking at coverage options is easy and straightforward! Prices are good and the claims we've submitted have been reviewed relatively quickly and payment issued promptly. No issues!
Started our policy over 2 years ago for our dog who had knee surgery done on her back L knee while back right knee was fine with no injuries. A week ago she needed knee surgery on the good knee but since she had one on the other 2+ years ago they said that it is bilateral and therefor also not covered even tho she tore that knee 2 months ago well into our policy that we’ve been paying monthly for. They did approve the x-ray when she tore her knee and the meds but the surgery to fix the knee they declined that bill. Customer service just repeated the same scripted info and were of no help to explain how this makes sense. Cancelling the policy because of this. Very scam feeling with this with what they approve and deny. Approve the small but find ways to decline the big bills
I started with this insurance June 2025. I've submitted two claims, nothing has been covered and I provided ASPCA with copies of all the history of my dog from the last 2 years at their request. I submitted dog history from the vet twice; October and again in November. They indicated on my login tonight I didn't povide the proper documenrtation. It's been 3 months and I've heard nothing. No email, nothing. I do n ot recommend this pet insurance; my last insurance covered within 2 weeks, were great with response. Unfortunately, they are not supporting my state any longer. I was forced to find new pet insurance and after research chose ASPCA. They have terrible response time, no calling, no email within a reasonable time period.
Our claims were reviewed, approved, and paid in under a week.
I've had ASPCA Pet Insurance for multiple pets for over 7 years. Fortunately I only recently had to file a claim after one of my fur babies got seriously ill very suddenly, and ended up passing. Not only did they pay my claim quickly with very little questioning, but they offered condolences and cancelled his coverage without my having to ask. I appreciated the fact that they made the process as easy as possible during such a difficult time.
