The fleece sheets I bought continue to shed fleece everywhere..on bed, on clothes…and I now realize it is making me congested. I have followed all the care instructions..and after several months of using and cleaning….they continue to shed fleece. I went through complaint process and was given a case number…upon their request I sent photos and detailed the problems. The final suggestion was to hang the sheets outside???? And then “closed” my case. This fleece material is apparently very low quality…they did not resolve the issue…. I DO NOT recommend this company for either their materials or their customer service.

Exorbitant return cost
Before I even received my product, I noticed I had inadvertently ordered the wrong color. I contacted the company and they said return it at your cost. OK, not happy but understand. However, the cost of returning was close to $60. The cost of the blanket was $85. I found this to be terribly unfair. When I contacted the company, I was told to feel free to ship it back in a smaller box, although their instructions say to return it in original packaging. Rude and unfair.

Extremely poor return policy
Extremely poor return policy. No return shipping or label provided. Cost of returning through UPS was more than half the cost of the order. I won’t buy from them again and recommend others be sure you want the merchandise before buying. Again…an extremely poor return policy.

NO replacement parts available
I purchased a new heated blanket from Berkshire at Costco. Within 2 days my puppy chewed the cord on my still unused blanket in two. It unplugs so no worries, called the company to order a replacement cord and was told "We do not sell replacement cords...sorry". They obviously make them, they are a separate unit, they can get full cost for a replacement, just plain poor customer service.

I purchased a sheet set
I purchased a sheet set. When it arrived, the zipper package had been completely opened with a broken zipper, and the sheets were wrapped in a ball and thrown back in the bag. The pillowcase was missing. Sheets in all likihood had been slept on. I emailed the company 7 pictures and stated that I paid full price…I don’t want a return which had been used. I had 3 emails with them, and issue not resolved. They said that it was “Not a quality issue”. I don’t want returned, probably used sheets!! I did not buy this on the re-sale market. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING! CUSTOMER SERVICE FULL OF BS

This Company is terrible and customer…
This Company is terrible and customer service is the worst. I have made contact on three different occasions and am still sitting on three blankets that are just terrible. I started this process on the 1st of December and no one is taking care of my issue. At this point the last lady even told me well you have to pay $6 for a refund and I responded I could care less I just want to return these 3 blankets, I have never had such an issue refunding items that have an issue.

Purple is not Brown
I had placed an order for a brown/beige blanket (x2) and when it arrived it was purple. I contacted the company and the gentleman I spoke to looked at the pictures on their site and said it looked brown and there was no purple in it. He asked me to send in pictures. I did. I receive a reply telling me that I received the correct item. They stated they use stock photos that are taken in a studio and they can vary.Ok I understand that the item may be a lighter or darker color but not a whole different color family. They said once it is in your home the color can change. What? How can a brown blanket turn into purple thru the mail? Why not just fess up and say, you know what we need to get a better representation of that color on the website. Better yet they should add the color in the description and not just say Fire Pit. Who thinks purple at a fire pit?They said to return it. I asked for a return label and they did not want to give it to me as they said I changed my mind. Umm no, I did not order a purple blanket I ordered a brown one. They finally said they would send me a prepaid label.This is false advertising if you ask me. When you order something brown it should be somewhere in the brown color family, not purple ... which is not brown. I wish I were able to post pictures to show. The emails I received are not acceptable. They placed a bad taste in my mouth. Once that I will never order or trust Berkshire Blankets again. I will also share my experience with my friends and family.

Bought a throw and the color wasn’t…
Bought a throw and the color wasn’t exactly what I had wanted. Completed the return form with address shown on form. Blanket cost was $30. It cost me $14.87 to return. When calling Berkshire I was informed I could use a different carrier. That info was not stated on return form. Many companies offer printed paid labels for return purposes. The return cost half price of the item. Will not deal with this company again.

After two terrible experiences with customer service doing absolutely ridiculous things I'm finally wise enough to stop buying Berkshire Blanket's absolutely additive, wonderful blankets.First time they shipped me a broken electric blanket and wouldn't do anything except offer a refund if I shipped the heavy blanket back at my own expense. Today is more silliness. They won't change anything about an order I made yesterday (won't change my payment method, or cancel the order) which hasn't shipped. Since getting an order has never been particularly quick I see no reason why they couldn't do a single thing to help me. I would understand if it had shipped or even had a tracking number, but it hasn't and doesn't. I've had enough now. Fool me twice, shame on me, I guess. At least I can warn other people people.
