Now...this is the way to kiteboard!!
This was my first Kiteboarding adventure on a Chartered Catamaran and it was "Fantastic"! It was a 10-day charter that departed Soufriere (St. Lucia) and sailed to the Grenadine Islands. The 47' Leopard Catamaran, while not brand new, was in great shape and had plenty of room for all 4 couples and two crew. The weather, the food onboard and the spectacular island beaches and the turquoise Caribbean waters combined to make my "DREAM KITEBOARDING" adventure come true. While we didn't have strong enough winds to kiteboard 4 of the 10 days we logged lots of hours on the water when the wind cooperated. When it didn't there was still lots to do. We snorkeled, wakeboarded behind the tender and surfed behind the Catamaran. Our Captain Hugo and Chef Emily took great care of us. They made sure we were always safe and had plenty to eat. Even Richard the founder and owner of the company paid us a visit as he lives on one of the islands we visited. Even though my wife doesn't kiteboard she also enjoyed the trip and found lots to do. I would certainly recommend this co. and this trip to anyone who has a passion for kiteboarding and I can't wait to do it again, but maybe the BVI next time.
