As a buyer I would not consider

As a buyer I would not consider the Coldwell Banker Squirrel Hill Real Estate Office as the agent that I worked with, Jenni Perrino and the broker, Kevin Kcehowski are more interested in making the sale then representing the buyer; terrible negotiating skills.

I listed my house with coldwell banker…

I listed my house in Panama City Florida with Coldwell Banker located in Destin FL for 6 months. Our realtor Micheal Tomlin was hard to reach, would take days to respond to a texts(if at all) , would never answer his phone for us. When asked, told us he " didnt do open houses on Sundays" knowing from day one it was our only available weekend day. He personally never did an open house for us, nor offer one himself in 6 months. He was defensive and pompous when we inquiring about marketing options like video walk throughs or 3D options or frankly, any advertising on social media platforms. Telling us we were " mircomanaging or apparently knew how to do his job better than he did" stating " Ive already done more for you than other realtors will ". Even going as far as to send us a break down of what hes done which was nothing more than the bare minimum and basic standards any real estate company would do , including items like " put a sign in the yard " and " listed on the mls" . In all retrospect, all his efforts amounted to no more than putting a sign in our yard and walking away. When we repainted the entire interior we asked for a reshoot which he did do begrudgingly. He arrived unannounced and uninvited when the photos were being reshot all the while, very blatantly ignoring me to follow the photographer from room to room just running his mouth. When I walked up to speak to him his actions to avoid me left me speechless. He went so far as going outside into the back yard when I approached him and turning his back to me when I walked up to him even when speaking to him. All the while boasting to the photographer as to how suprisingly hot the market is right now and how busy he is selling other properties even in this economy. (Yet his excuse as to why ours was not yet sold was the economy). Though out the entirety of the 6 months, all we heard is how he is " the best in the business" (and believe me.. he said it on repeat at nauseam) and how hes sold so many other properties, but never once offered input on how in fact he planned to sell our home, even when face to face IN our home . It was US asking if we should do price reductions, it was US asking for feedback it was US monitoring our ring camera to know when we could go home. Every step along the way was US doing the leg work and reaching out for answers we never got. At one point, he did a AI photo that to our understanding was only suppose to showcase the house at dusk with an enhanced skyline . He posted the AI photo to the MLS without allowing us to preview it prior to uploading it. When we viewed it, he got MAD when we insisted he take it down because it changed the entire layout of the back of the house having added a chandelier to the back porch that didnt exist and turned our doors into windows! When we took actual dusk photos he said he only uses professional photography yet still uploaded photos he personally shot on his cellphone when we remodeled our kitchen and bathroom! He left our house to go do a Facebook live for another property literally 2 miles up the street when it was our idea given to him 10 minutes before!! yet refused to even offer the same for us even after bringing it to his attention! Ive never met someone with an ego as big as his. He even told us we had a showing at 11 and when buyer's agent showed at 1 and literally showed us where she scheduled 1 o'clock he insisted SHE was wrong and he didnt make a mistake! In the end, he flipped the script from not 2 weeks prior saying we didnt need a price reduction to suddenly our house was over priced and needed to drop over 10k because " pool homes are harder to sell". All the while refusing to do any marketing and having NEVER in the entirety of having our listing done an actual CMA on our home. If hes "the best" no wonder Coldwell Banker has less than 3 stars. We terminated the contract and are happy to be free and move on. **** follow up***Spoke to 2 other area brokers whos first step was to run a CMA. Their value shows our final listing price on the low end and the high end 20k higher. Both brokers suggested 3D walk through and video tours especially for out of town buyers as it *"greatly increases traffic ". Both also said a 10k price drop or pool homes being difficult to sell was absurd. Clearly they just wanted to dump my listing and not looking out for my best interest.

Ekaterina Iashkevich is unprofessional and rude realtor

I’d like to share my experience with their agent Ekaterina Iashkevich. Unfortunately, the level of professionalism I expected was not there. In my interactions with her, she was consistently rude and dismissive, which made the entire process uncomfortable. On top of that, some of her remarks came across as inappropriate and, in my personal opinion, carried racial undertones. This kind of behavior has no place in customer service. It also made me question the agency’s management and training standards. If an agent feels the need to speak to clients this way, perhaps the company should reconsider how they support and supervise their staff. Maybe paying their employees better or providing proper training would help prevent this sort of attitude.Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this agency or this agent. I hope they take these issues seriously and make improvements.

Great help to buy a house in Austin

Great help to buy a house in Austin, TexasI wanted to buy a house in Austin, Texas. Considering there is not a CB Office in Colombia, the agent from Coldwell Banker Westlake contacted me and kept informed all the time about the process, in remote, from chosing the house, visiting that once, then doing all the paperwork. A really great experience!

Inexperienced, pushy, unreliable

Despite a professional appearance, my experience with Marjan's team was frustrating. They lacked real estate knowledge, gave inconsistent advice, communicated poorly, and pressured me to lower my price. Open houses were handled unprofessionally, and there were concerns about fairness and transparency. I would not recommend working with them.

I entered into a contract in January…

I entered into a contract in January 2025 with your agent, Derek Doernbach, of the Coldwell Banker Argus Real Estate office in Northfield, NJ, through his personal investment business, TCB Properties LLC, and from the start, I had concerns. Shortly after signing, I expressed to Derek that I was uncomfortable and wanted to exit the agreement. I even told him before signing that I had a friend willing to buy my property for more, but he subtly steered me away from that opportunity.Despite trying multiple times to exit the agreement gracefully, including reaching out directly and through the title agency, Derek refused to release me. He began using pressure and intimidation tactics, creating a dynamic that made me feel trapped and manipulated. Because of his continued refusal, I had no choice but to hire a lawyer and pay a $550 retainer simply to try and cancel the contract.Even with legal involvement, Derek still refused to cooperate. Later, a second buyer, represented by a licensed real estate agent, offered more money and was ready to close, but Derek once again blocked the deal. The only time he agreed to cancel was under self-serving conditions: he demanded I take down my factual online review, withdraw my formal complaint to the Real Estate Commission, and sign a broad non-disparagement agreement, despite the original contract being expired and no legal standing to justify these demands.I have documentation of all of this: emails, texts, the original contract, cancellation attempts, legal correspondence, and witness testimony from others involved. Derek’s behavior has caused me financial and emotional stress, interfered with multiple legitimate offers, and delayed the sale of my home for months. This isn’t just a negative experience; it’s a warning. Proceed with extreme caution before doing business with Derek or TCB Properties LLC. The level of manipulation, pressure, and retaliation I’ve experienced is something no seller should have to endure. This review is protected under the Consumer Review Fairness Act (CRFA), which ensures my right to share honest experiences with businesses. Everything stated is based on documented, firsthand interactions.

Tony R Tanksley the Fraudster

Exercise caution when considering dealings with Tony R. Tanksley, a Coldwell Banker-affiliated realtor. On the surface, he may come across as friendly and approachable, but the truth paints a much darker picture. I have proof of wire fraud and other serious misdeeds, including the theft and misrepresentation of his authority on a legal document about a property. Moreover, there have been unsettling claims regarding his unprofessional conduct, which allegedly includes the use of inappropriate language and even making threats to the client. I have documented multiple incidents that raise significant red flags and have attempted to bring these concerns to Jenny, a broker at Coldwell Banker. Unfortunately, she has declined to meet with me, insisting that these issues arose before Tony's recent onboarding at their firm just four months ago. This response raises concerns about Coldwell Banker’s oversight of its agents and whether the company genuinely prioritizes the well-being of its clients over merely maximizing sales commissions.I strongly urge anyone contemplating a partnership with Coldwell Banker, especially Tony R. Tanksley, to conduct thorough research and remain vigilant.

5* experience buying a home in SanMiguel

This was our first experience in SanMiguel Mexico with Coldwell Smart and the firm was professional and very helpful, but the realtor Violeta Manom was the key to making our purchase of our first Home in San Milguel an amazing and surprisingly easy experience.Violeta directed the process from start to finish and was in contact with us every step of the way . The best part was she became my personal shopper and set up every little detail by insuring the possession day was turn key From Soap to Nuts, flowers and a stocked Fridge was awaiting us as well as a delicious late dinner she prepared herself as we drove in from the US border. We highly recommend her as a realtor in San Miguel. She is fluent in English and directed us at every turn from banking to insurance, notary and legal help. Violeta had our backs re closing from afar. As we are Canadian We are her clients for Life now and she will remain a good and helpful friend at every turn in this new adventure Sincerely Bev S and Rick T

can’t express how awful my experienci

can’t express how awful my experience was with this property manager. Move-in was a complete disaster from the start. I showed up for the walk-through and didn’t even have the code for the lockbox. No one bothered to send it to me, and I had to scramble just to get in.The house itself was a mess. The floors were sticky when I arrived, which was absolutely disgusting. To top it off, the air conditioning system was more than 70 years old and completely ineffective. In the summer, the house was sweltering hot and no matter how much we cranked the thermostat, it wouldn’t cool down. They didn’t even bother to replace it until the next summer! When the gate broke due to wind damage, we were stuck with a $100 bill for repairs, and all they did was hammer a few nails into the wood. It was a joke. Work orders went unanswered, and when we did finally get someone to come out, we had to keep chasing down the maintenance guy ourselves. Not to mention, after a couple of months, they switched property managers, but the service didn’t improve one bit.To make matters worse, after a year, my rent went up by $100 with zero explanation or justification. Honestly, it felt like they were just trying to squeeze every last cent out of us while doing the bare minimum. If you’re considering renting from them, do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. This has been the most frustrating and disappointing rental experience I’ve ever had.

Thank You Ms Bruna Lopez from…

“We can’t thank Ms Bruna Lopez from Coldwell & Banker Real Estate Brokers enough for all their hard work and dedication in helping us sell our home. From the initial listing to the final closing, Ms Bruna was incredibly professional, knowledgeable, and responsive. Her expert negotiation skills and marketing strategies helped us get a fantastic offer. I haven’t got a Good Property Advisor, but also a kind and warm person of high value as Ms Bruna.I would also appreciate Ms Gaberille Pilley for helping us a conveyance manager in the smooth transfer. She was very knowledgeable and helpful. We highly recommend their services to anyone looking to buy or sell a home.”

coldwell banker contract read carefully

when you sign with coldwell banker with any agent. read contract very carefully .there is a line if left blank you are locked in for 1 year. and my experience was horrible. i wanted to change company's after 80 days. they dropped it to 6 months for contract to end. so my house will be off market for 3 months until it expires. my point to sharing this .read coldwell banker contract carefully. and realize even if you are not happy with service the will not release you. it was my fault i was not aware something left blank puts you at such risk. so please read contract and please beware . they will not mention it

I can no longer recommend Coldwell…

I can no longer recommend Coldwell Banker to anyone who is looking for real estate because they use a service called Trust Fund that holds people's earnest money. The problem is, it has been 3 full weeks since a deal we had didn't work out and our agent has been unable to get us our earnest money back even though the seller agreed to return it. Shame on Coldwell Banker for associating and using such an unethical company. This makes CB as guilty and this "Trust Funds".

Caldwell bankers and Amanda brewer in…

Caldwell bankers and Amanda brewer in Troy, Ohio did knowingly sell and failed to disclose a home we bought had bed bugs. The seller left all her things in home left it unsanitary and didn’t replace a wall where pipes burst during contract period. Shame on her and the agent because they both knew about the state of unhealthy and unsanitary condition and did not disclose which would have seriously affected the price we would have paid. Not even an apology

I do NOT recommend Pam Kirkpatrick…

I do NOT recommend Pam Kirkpatrick Coldwell Banker Realtor Broker/Owner Mt Vernon IL to ANYONE!! She is a liar and thief!! She rented a house to me a year ago and I am still trying to get my $1,050.00 security deposit she stole from me back, she lied to the IL Attorney General after she broke every IL tenant landlord law ever written and after ignoring them and myself numerous time's she told them she kept my deposit for back utility bills, then when I provided all paid in full utilities bills for the 8 months I rented from her, along with all paid in full rent and fifty plus move in and move out pictures, she ran from them again and would not respond. They and my lawyer both have seen all and told me to sue her and I sent her a demand letter for the second time certified, returned receipt requested and she refused to sign for it and sent it back to me. She told me when I told her twice I was moving out, after she continually acted crazy, harassed me at work by text, refused to fix the issues with the house that were hers to fix as the owner, that she was not giving my deposit back and would like and say I did not give her notice, she was mad that I found another better rental. Renting from her was the worst thing I ever did, she is so dishonest, constantly caught her in lies, she insisted on picking my rent payment and utility bills up monthly at my rental house, she insisted I leave the utilities in her name on budget billing, she insisted I leave her mail still coming to the house as she was living with her boyfriend but used to live there, she is the weirdest person I have ever met in my life! She left a toilet in my front room with the hole it came off of in the bathroom that went to the sewer open for at least six months and made me sick, after the AC went out in the dead of summer then was trying to get me to pay for the replacement claiming her insurance company was scamming her and did not want to pay for it, again trying to scam me and it was 98 degrees and high humidity, then her toilet and tub started backing up when it rained over and over and she was not fixing it either and just expected me to live like that and pay her $1250.00 a month rent which included the water, sewer and trash. The only utility bill I paid was Ameren and it was paid in full every month. I have all paid in full receipts. I left owing nothing. I also made sure to clean the place perfectly. I took pictures of all on move in and move out and it looked exactly the same. My lease was month to month as I was looking to buy a place and had even talked to her about that house, as she was trying to sell it, but she lied to me about all the issues with it! I am a twice widowed mother living on one income. I work for the State of Illinois Dept of Employment! She is a thief and WILL answer to God one day for her ways!! She is a gold digger and obsessed with money. How desperate and hard up must a person be to steal $1,050 from a widow and orphan, there is no greater sin than this and God's wrath will follow her the rest of her life!!! I am still going to sue her and also reported her to the authorities as well as her rental to the housing inspectors. I do NOT recommend her as a landlord, nor as a realtor based on her lack of character, ethics, honesty and her behavior!!
