It's scam!

The website appeared very professional and well-designed, so I had no reason to be suspicious. I ordered a beautiful floor lamp that was about 20% cheaper than at other stores. However, I never received an order confirmation email, which made me start to worry.After doing some google research, I came across negative reviews and realized I should have checked them before placing the order. The company only offers email support. I contacted them to cancel the order, and they did respond, confirming the cancellation and stating that a refund would be issued within 7–14 days. However, it has now been over 3 months, and I still have not received the refund. My follow-up emails have gone unanswered. This company is a total scam.

I wouldn’t even give Designer Rug one…

I wouldn’t even give Designer Rug one star. I ordered two rugs and after 3 months of no delivery I cancelled the order and requested a refund. They gave me one excuse after another. Now a month later still no refund. I would never ever use this company again. I did receive the same order from a different company and received the rugs within 3 weeks.

This company is a total scam

This company is a total scam. I have never written a review before but this company is such a joke that I felt I had no choice. I purchased a candleholder that was supposed to be in stock. After 3 months and 6 stalling messages that “it is just about to ship” I asked for a refund. After another 7 weeks and 8 messages apologizing for the refund delay and informing that “we will urgently contact finance” I still have not received the refund. Apart from that, all mails received seem to be sent from private mailboxes and with no name of sender or company icon. Don’t be fooled by the nice looking website. It is a scam.

Complaint

On July 18, 2024, I ordered wall paper from designer-rug com on order #25112 and like others below never received the product and have been waiting for a refund as promised but not received. Poor customer service and lack of consumer protection.Buyer Beware!!!

Misleading Company and Terrible Customer Service

I placed an order on February 24, 2025 for four stools. At the time, the site led you to believe the stools were in stock. The company immediately took payment from our credit card. Time went on and I didn't receive a shipment notice, and after numerous attempts to contact the company, I finally received a response to an email informing me that the stools would ship out in early April (a month and a half from our original order). I followed up April 16, because I still had not received the stools or a shipment notice. They responded on April 18 that now the stools may not ship for another 4 to 6 weeks. I immediately responded to cancel the order and refund my money. On April 21, they responded that they would do that and expect a refund in 7 to 14 business days. On May 6, I inquired as to the status of the refund and was informed that it should be reflected in another 5 to 7 business days. They have now had and used our money for two and a half months without providing the ordered product. May 9--it has now been 14 business days since they approved the cancellation and refund--still no refund.

This website and company looks so legit…

This website and company looks so legit online, they say they are based in the US and have an in-depth website, but its almost certainly a scam and coming from China. Their phone lines dont work and it takes weeks to get a reply via email (with bad English). SUPER SUPER sketchy DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THEM

Item arrived broken

Item arrived broken - I paid $1.95 extra for shipping protection and they are saying I have to file a claim with the shipping protection group - which seems to be non existant.

Scam company

I ordered a rug from them in January- Order no. 25755. They falsely advertised it is available and when I contacted them for not shipping the rug- they told me it’ll ship in end of March. I canceled my order immediately and didn’t get refund for next 3 weeks. They kept saying their finance department is working on it. Finally contacted my credit card company for fraud. Avoid at all costs. The owner is Burke decor- another scam company. Phone always goes to voicemail.

Buyer beware

I had an awful experience with this company, attempted to order decor in December and did not hear and update so they followed up and said it would ship in February. I asked them to cancel the order and not fulfill it in December 30th and they gave me the run around for a full month saying “it’s with accounting, it will be 5-10 days, oh we can Venmo you, etc.” I finally got fed up and disputed the charge with my credit card, do not buy from them.

3 Months to Ship?

I ordered a quantity of 4 of the same item and only received one. I received a message stating that all of the items I ordered had been delivered. No one answers at their customer service phone number so I left a voicemail. Days later, I have not received a callback. I sent an email to customer service and 5 days later received a reply stating that my items would be shipped in August. I placed the order in May and was never notified of any shipping delay. I requested a cancellation and refund of the missing items, which I am waiting for. This is a terrible company with horrible customer service and communication, taking your money for items that they do not have to send.

This company is owned by Erin Burke who…

This company is owned by Erin Burke who "founded" multiple scam drop ship companies, takes peoples money for orders, and does not set up reliable supply chains with the vendors that fulfill the orders. Customers are then kept in the dark while the company figures out if they can even fulfill the order the customer paid for. Look up Burke Decor on the BBB website for more info on her other, bigger scam.

Horrible Customer Service

After taking months to receive my wallpaper, they were missing one roll, and said the time had expired to give me a refund or second one. Horrible customer service!

Stay away

Stay away! I placed my order in September, only to find out in October that it is backordered till the mid-December. After cancelling the order, still chasing my refund in November. Will dispute with the CC. Save your time, stay away from this company!

AWFUL experience SHADY company

AWFUL experience - SHADY company. Spent over $1000 and no shipping information - no one answers phone for hours on end. Then I finally get a hold of someone and they say the product has been discontinued and my card was charged a week ago despite having no stock. They emailed me saying I needed to EXCHANGE for something else rather than get a refund. Then I called and asked for a refund as my interest accrues on my credit card for a company that has no stock and didn't bother to tell me. They said it takes up to 14 business days. Unbelievable. Very shady. Then she said they won't refund me if I file a complaint or tell my credit card company. Wow.

Horrible company

Horrible company! Fraudulent- actually Burke decor going under another Ndebele-miss leading website. They list product says one thing implying that certain things are included but in fact you have to pay extra- even if you cancel item - they send and then hit you for a large restocking feeNOT customer friendly or service oriented at all! I would not have used this company had I known it was actually Burke Decor- They have more than one company they go by different names-The representatives told me the order was canceled and then days later said it was sent. If it is already been sent they would’ve had tracking four days before-SHADY
