Bait and switch scam!
Don't fall for this bait and switch BS place! I went in and test drove a vehicle and told the man I wanted to purchase it. I informed him that I would be paying cash for it, and I needed to go grab a cashier's check. He said he would be back with a price sheet. After about 30 minutes he returns with a price that was more than SEVEN THOUSAND DOLLARS higher than the listed price. The tax was added on, which is fine, but then there was a $700 dent protection, another $700 charge that he said was not removable, and an almost $4,000 warranty. I told him I didn't want any of that. He walked back to a desk to talk to another guy, came back and told me that they could remove the dent protection and the other $700 thing that he said was not removable, but they would not sell me the car unless I bought the warranty. A total waste of time! This was a 2024 Chevy Trax for $20,497. I just looked up a brand new 2026, the same color, and higher package model, and it was $25,000... $2,000 less than they were trying to scam me for!

Finance department should be ashamed
Finance department added extras in without asking, then when asked to take them out, someone from finance came out and gave the hard sale wasting our time, and we ended up walking away. All this after waiting an hour for our paperwork to get printed.

This place sucks
This place sucks! Bought a vehicle in December as a Christmas gift. The jeep has been in the shop for more than 2 weeks. I purchased a warranty from them but every time I file a claim they call it pre-existing which they could say for everything. So now I have a vehicle I cannot drive and warranty that does do anything. Warranty company says dealer should have fixed these issue (not surprised) dear care team won’t call me back.Would not recommend echopark or fidelity warranty!Beware of this combination of EchoPark and Fidelity warranty! You will get stuck between as is sale and preexisting condition.

Odometer Discrepancy: Fair Policy or Lowball Tactic?
I was excited to trade in my FJ Cruiser for the 2018 Dodge Challenger SXT at the EchoPark in Birmingham, Alabama. While setting up an appointment to look at the Challenger, I asked to test drive it, and the salesman said that all I needed was my license and insurance. I arrived with my required documentation, but he informed me that since my mom’s name was on the insurance card, I would be unable to drive it. At other dealerships, I have been permitted to test drive their vehicles without hassle. After inspecting my car, the buyer informed me that my FJ, a rare Trail Teams Special Edition in great condition, had lost around 30% of its value due to a single odometer discrepancy of around a thousand miles. Other dealerships I’ve since spoken with have offered me thousands more for my car and were not phased by its minor mileage variance. I felt that their offer was an extreme lowball and way below market value, which was insulting. Also, I gave them all of my information before coming to the dealership, so why wasn’t I warned about the mileage discrepancy before driving an hour to meet them?I could buy that Challenger easily, but I refuse to do business with this sorry excuse for a dealership. Think twice before doing business with EchoPark Birmingham.

EchoPark (Cary/Raleigh)
I had a great experience buying my Nissan Rogue at EchoPark, thanks to Claire. She was honest, thorough, and very pleasant to work with throughout the entire process. She took the time to explain everything clearly, answered all my questions, and never made me feel rushed or pressured. Claire truly made the car-buying experience smooth and enjoyable. I would absolutely recommend asking for her if you’re considering purchasing a vehicle at EchoPark (Cary/Raleigh NC).

Intentionally unethical
I bought a car from them, they encouraged us to leave a stellar review while in office (hence all the 5 star reviews). A few days later my car wouldn't start. I had to get it jumped a few days in a row. My mechanic looked at it and said I should return it if I could due to all the issues the car had. Otherwise it would cost me an arm and a leg. The location ghosted me so I had to reach out to corporate. When I returned it to the site, they didn't even ask why or what's wrong with it. Lots of red flags. I don't recommend anyone buy a car here. They are not ethical and doing it intentionally.

Incompetence or deceit?
About one week ago I went to Echo Park in Chesterfield, MO to look at a truck. Whem they looked at my trade in, they offered me 10,000 less than the blue book value. They said even though there were no accidents reported, there was welding that was not original. They called it structural damage. i was able to have a Chrysler engineer look at the weld in question and I was assured it was a factory weld and original. Either the appraiser was incompetent or they were trying to screw me. Either way, it is not a company Iwant to do business with,

Be wary
This was the 2nd time I bought at the North Houston location. My first vehicle experience was great, but this one wasn't so good. Before I had to make the first payment (7 weeks after I bought the care), the check engine light came on. I called the dealership and left multiple messages with no return call. I finally called and pushed every button until someone answered only to be told that because it was over the 30 days I would need to contact the warranty company and they provided me with the number. I pulled my paperwork and called Fidelity who in turned told me that I had to go through the dealership. I then had to make multiple phone calls to get ahold of a live person. That live person then transferred me to a "customer experience rep" not at the dealership location I bought my car from. Rebecca advised that she would send a note to my dealership and someone would call me back. Someone did call me back only to advise me that if I brough the car back to them they would charge me a diagnostic fee. By this time I didn't trust anything that anyone told me and I called my mechanic to look at the car. In my opinion I would be wary of this dealership in North Houston as the customer service AFTER you purchase the vehicle is atrocious!

We went to Echo Park in Temple after…
We went to Echo Park in Temple after they called and offered me $18K for my 2020 CRV. We got there and Amanda said it wasn’t worth that much because it was made in Canada. Total BS - MOST CRVs are made in Canada. Then I told her one side had all of the panels replaced because of a scrape against a pole that ran the length of the car. She said she could tell where it was replaced and showed me all the signs of a poor repair. Then I pointed out to her that it was the OTHER side that had been replaced. The side she was criticizing was the factory-original side. I bought the car brand new, so I knew THAT was BS also. Bottom line - this is a classic bait and switch scheme. They will get you to their dealership, and point out everything “wrong” with the car. After offering me $18K over the phone, it went down to $14k because of all the “issues”. It’s just a huge waste of time. Don’t deal with these people.

I made the mistake of purchasing my vehicle while raining. This covered up damages on the front once it was dry. I expected more from a reputable dealer. The sales department was great and the transaction was painless and quick until the next day and I looked at the front of the car and saw over 40 chips/nics of paint out of the front bumper area. A detail shop wet sanded and applied touch up paint to make it less noticeable but that cost me $600.

Vehicle turned out to be a piece of crap!!!!
So I have had my vehicle now for 3 months it has been the worst purchase I have ever made. My vehicle has been in the shop 3 times now and is back now for a 4th. From the A/C to the filters to the fuel pump and now something electrical. This vehicle has now cost me over $2,500 in repairs. Starting to feel like I'm the dumb one for buying from these guys. If you are looking for a vehicle, keep looking. These are not the people you want to by a vehicle from. STAY AWAY!!!!!! You have been warned!!!

Birmingham
Birmingham, AL location The salesperson was personable, patient, not pushy and listened to what I wanted. They do add $700 for paint protection and $700 paperwork fee, and encourage you to buy an extended warranty. The price I paid for my 2023 SantaFe was still lower than other dealerships in the area. What I liked the most was the great selection to choose from with free carfax on every vehicle. The upfront, no haggle, negotiations kept it simple and less stressful.

***BEWARE...
***BEWARE.... do not let the number of positive reviews on Google fool you. First off, they prompt you to write that review while you are still at the dealership. In my case, before signing the contract. My original review was based on what I had thought was good customer service-what I learned is I had been scammed.Mo is the salesman I worked with. He approached the conversation stating they do not work on commission- I have since learned from one of the auto techs who had worked on the sales floor prior that this is not the case- once the person reaches a number in sales, they are then rewarded with incentives and bonuses. Essentially, they restructured the typical commission-based pay to say to the customer they are not commission-based thus attempting to make the customer less resistant to the other tactics. There was a 4000+ warranty +$699 fee added to my contract. I did not catch this while at the dealership- I arrived at that dealership around 4pm and by the time I left it was close to 9pm and I remember lying my head down on the table, twice and yawning due to mental exhaustion-I take responsibility that I did sign the contract while in this state, however, by law they are required to go over the contract with you and disclose any added charges that had not been discussed- this was not done. I was going off of the perceived good will of Mo of whom I thought I did not need to be weary of because he "doesn't get paid commission". I spent an entire day (had to take time from work) to call the dealership, the warranty company, and another company they are partnered with to make it mandatory that all customers must pay for protection against paint scratches. Yep, $699 in case the paint gets scratched- I don't need this and it's not disclosed. When speaking with the dealership I was told that the little sticker on the driver car window in the corner is their way of showing you it's part of the package. Hmmm, how in the world are any of us supposed to know this? I was not able to get a refund on the $699 but was able to get the warranty refunded per the company-not the dealership. To make things worse, because Mo had snuck in the warranty without my knowledge, that made my monthly payment higher than needed. When a person gets a refund on the warranty, it gets applied to the loan total and your monthly payment does not go down. When I went in to get my license plate, the guy at the front desk said I could refinance my vehicle for a lower payment through the company my loan is through and he seemed to know very well. I called the company my loan is through and they do not do refinancing. SMH. It was at this time that I found someone who was not working on the sales floor to ask him a few questions and through good conversation building rapport, the honest guy opened up and let me know the truth behind operations when it comes to the sales people. I appreciate this person and even more so when he offered to look at my vehicle at no charge at any time. I purchased this vehicle in March 2025 and it wasn't too long before I wrote a negative review under my first positive review. They prompted me to write the day/night I was at the dealership. I actually do not write reviews unless prompted and so this is smart on their end but it was worth it to me at this time to let others know my experience. Unfortunately, I ended up taking it down because I do not enjoy putting negative energy into the world and I took it down (another reason I dont write reviews, if I dont have something nice to say, dont say anything). I was going to leave it at that but now it's 6 months since purchasing the vehicle with only 4,000 miles put on the vehicle and the emergency light has come on. When I spoke with the honest guy at the dealership, he took a look at my vehicle and told me that they changed the braking system on the back tires but its obvious they did not do the same for the front. I had told him while braking it felt off and this guy helped me figure out why. So, only 6 months and 4000 miles later and I am having to change out the front braking system. I am a single female that was deceived and taken advantage of at EchoPark- I hope no other woman putting her trust into a car dealership promoting themselves as no-commissions A) doesn't go by herself (my fault doing this) and B) makes the salesman explain every charge in detail of their contract. Also!, the docs they give you about what they did to the car I was told by the honest guy does not give you all of the details and its easy for most people to not even know what to look for or ask if its missing on the docs and that's why they were able to get the braking system past me. No wonder they slipped the warranty in there, you'll need to fix your car soon after purchase!!! Go somewhere else or if you do go here just know not to let your guard down- they will take advantage where ever they can.

Don't buy a car here!
The price advertised is just the beginning. They will add $700 for worthless paint and fabric protection to every car, $225 for document fees, etc!I waited over 5 hours, sitting at a salesman desk, to test drive and then purchase a car. The interest rate for their financing was ridiculously high. You need to be very careful trying to buy a car here. I would strongly suggest you find a better, more professionally run dealership to buy a car. I really regret buying a car here.

EchoPark Cary Location
EchoPark Cary Location: I had a wonderful experiance from beginning to end. I got a great deal on my vehicle and walked out feeling like I was really takin care of. I had a nice post sale conversation with the young lady in the office that does the license plates when she called me to tell me my plate was ready. I would definitely recommend Echopark to all my Friends! I love my new Car, thank you all!

My family just got up and walked out. They never honored my pre-approval letter.
I had been pre-approved for a certain used car I wanted. I went to the dealer in Cary, NC. The guy would not even let us test drive the car to see if it was expectable. He had me fill out another application which I had done online. He stayed gone for 45 min. and we still had not test driven anything. He kept coming back with cars thousands of dollars out of my budget and wanted thousands down. My family just got up and walked out. The service was horribly and the sale people are rude. They don't want to listen to what you the customer is wanting. They never honored my pre-approval letter.
