Bad system, service and questionable practices
My company used EmTrain for years and the customer service deteriorated from year to year. A couple of years ago, they changed their formatting (to campaign-only assignments) which made it nearly impossible to assign individual trainings; instead you had to create a full campaign module for just one person which is cumbersome and time consuming. We also changed our point of contact around that time from my boss to me at which point I was the sole point of contact between EmTrain and my company. When the contract renewal period came up, now-defunct email accounts at my company were sent the notices, despite have told them that I was the sole contact for my company. They waited until the 30-day auto-renewal period expired, THEN decided to reach out to me about touching base for the coming contract period. I told them that we were not interested in renewing and would not be (due to lack of customer service and overall ease of the system being the main issues) to which they began sending (and still do) harassing emails about how they were not notified about cancelling the auto-renewal contract (despite them knowing I was the one who should have been receiving the notices, yet conveniently never got a single communication until two days after the cancellation window lapsed). Aside from the system not being user-friendly, there is a strong integrity issue with how they do business.

Have partnered with Emtrain while working for two different companies and have had very positive experiences both times. Always receive encouraging feedback from team members who take the courses and I love the ability to see real time data related to the health of my company's workplace environment.

I'm not sure if this is just a general survey or for something specific. The rollout of the new platform was not great. There was no communication that it was going to happen and no training was provided, so it came as a complete surprise when we went to assign courses and they were no longer assignable. I had even spoken to my rep shortly before the roll out and there was no mention of it. To top it off, my company is now sort of hybrid and uses the new platform as well as the legacy system. The upside is that I did connect with Jenny Merical, a developer who was extremely helpful. She was able to provide necessary assistance and training on the new platform. I have not had to use the system since then, but am hoping that it will be intuitive. Additionally, the bundling of courses to not be state-specific is also a wonderful enhancement!

We've been waiting on Emtrain to give us a response to our issue for two weeks and have not been contacted back about our issue only that it has been sent to their Technical team. This is for a required training that every new hire at our firm is supposed to take within the first few days of their start date.

I was very happy with Emtrain until they changed their platform without communicating this. My company is in the middle of a very expensive contract with them now and the communication is terrible. We are unable to implement the program at this time and it is nearly impossible to reach anyone there. Extremely disappointed.

This is helpful for when you may have a situation that you may not know how to handle, then you can go to Emtrain and try to find your answer. Even though I'm the kind of person who is not involved in social media and doesn't like to spend a lot of time on a computer, I could recommend Emtrain.

Wow, Emtrain has changed the game when it comes to truly training "muscle memory" for speaking up and stepping in to take on the thorniest workplace issues (even when your workplace is remote). Better yet, their content and context is timely, relevant and thought-provoking... so different from many painful canned videos other compliance companies "dust off" that feel old and out of touch.

Opportunity to improve communication on updates!
We really liked Emtrain as it provided the necessary training we needed to be in compliance with the mandated workplace harassment prevention training for our organization. Additionally, there are other on-demand trainings we can assign that are focused on professional development, which was a plus! However, the lack of communication around this new/updated workplace harassment prevention training means we are falling out of compliance with the mandated training law. Also, there was a lack of communication/support around the new platform. It is a bit confusing that we are upgraded to a new platform without any resources on how to implement it. We have not received sufficient information despite our attempts to seek them via email.
