Everything you need for a meal is right there!
Sriracha pork stir-fry was great. What I don't like:Can't cancel more than 3 weeks out so if gone for a month or more you have to keep remembering to go back and cancel.BUT what I did discover this time is you are blocked from the website if you are out of the country, therefore impossible to cancel a delivery!!!ALSO the pre-selected meals they choose for you are generally lesser value for the consumer. You really don't get your money's worth. Example: Melty mushroom and onion Quesadillas. Disappointed!!!
Generally the recipes cook well and the flavors are great. We came back after a year hiatus and have been enjoying the meals and the simplicity of having them delivered.
Great recipes, fresh ingredients - all delivered to your home.
I love the fast and easy recipes that allow me to cook fresh food after a long shift. The recipes are amazing and are very flavorful! I love choosing my menu for the next week. ❤️
I’ve been a loyal EveryPlate customer for over a year, but after this experience, I will be canceling my subscription and switching to a different meal service. In addition to my regular weekly charge of $52, I was randomly charged an extra $35 fee with no explanation or notification. When I contacted customer service to find out why, I was told they could not see the charge on their end and that I would need to dispute it directly with my bank. That response was completely unacceptable. If a charge is associated with your company, your support team should be able to provide answers—not pass responsibility to the customer and the bank.To make matters worse, during the call, the customer service representative repeatedly referenced HelloFresh, even after I clearly explained multiple times that I am not a HelloFresh customer and that my inquiry was regarding EveryPlate. The phone number I called is listed directly in the EveryPlate app, which made this even more confusing and frustrating.Between the unexplained charge, lack of accountability, and poor customer service, I’ve lost confidence in this company. After a year of consistent business, this situation was handled extremely poorly. Transparency and customer trust matter, and unfortunately, EveryPlate failed on both.I would not recommend this service based on this experience.
They charged my card and when I called hours later to cancel and get a refund I was told no. Not the first issue ive had with this company. Terrible customer service and I will talk negatively about them to everyone I know.
Meals are relatively easy to make, and we haven't had any that we didn't like. Instructions are very clear. Meals do often take longer than the time listed.
I like them they have very good items
We like the food and meals we pick out. There is almost zero food waste now. The recipes are easy and tasty. Good flavors. Variety. Cost is alright. The least we like is that it all arrives mixed together in one bag but now we separate all meals into a bag and label. I then pull the recipe out of my notebook after I punch holes in the sides. I flag them up and cook and enjoy. Also, we are getting chubby and I guess plump isn't the worst we have ever done to ourselves so it's just us. Usually we consume our whole recipe and then I cook a new one. I know we are eating more healthy items and that stress has left the building. Try it you might like it.
Always top quality food and recipes for an affordable price
We've been Everyplate customers now for four weeks. We find it to be a good solid meal delivery service with easy to follow recipes. All delivered ingredients have arrived in good shape with a few exceptions. We found the general reviews about Everyplate to be very accurate, so we didn't have many surprises. It did take some time to get into the "rhythm" of how the recipes work, and we agree with most reviewers that the prep/cook time is typically longer than estimated on the recipe card. And a lot of dishes are used in preparation, so there is a good bit of clean-up after the meal. Also, two of us work together for each meal (typically one peeling and chopping), and I think it would take quite a bit of extra time for one person, and they would have to prep ahead instead of prepping and cooking in tandem. So: high marks for ingredients and delivery, high marks for recipe directions, high marks for flavor and amount in each serving, but do expect some work both before and after cooking. You do need a LOT of basics from your own stock: eggs, milk, sugar, mayo, ketchup, cooking oil, etc. Also, reporting issues with ingredients is quick and easy, but the response is to provide a small credit to your account. Finally, if you order add-ons like soups or bowls, don't expect them to be ready to serve -- they come in the same ingredient format as meals.
If any error is ever made it is immediately corrected . Every Plate is flexible if You have to change Your order or skip a week. I would like to see more menu variety but enjoy almost all I have ordered and the convenience. Over-all, I am very satisfied
First delivery 1/25/2025 Still currently ordering but you can also skip weekly delivery meals. Awesome and affordable to where you can pack the ingredients and meats away and is a great way to learn new recipes and special ones too. Special recipes like Halloween making masked potatoes into ghost shapes. Valentines meal that has a yummy looking meal. Great add-ons to main meals. Don’t forget to get the app since you’ll have everything in there. From picking your meals to your profile and payments and refer friends. At least try it out!
Printing on some condiments hard to read.
I love getting my box every week. The recipes are easy to follow and are delicious.
Food is good although sometimes the portions are quite small
I was exploring their website. Unfortunately, in order to see what meals they offer, you have to give your credit card. I hadn't decided whether I wanted to order and they charged me and shipped the order! I received expired, yellowing broccoli and sprouted potatoes with black spots. Because the meat had no expiration date listed, I was afraid to eat it. I cancelled, said I wasn't paying for the order received and they tried to charge me for another order!! Rip off!
I like the additional meal options but would buy a box more often if there were oven ready meals available, without having to pay an additional fee per meal. Time is our priority as a family so oven ready is essential.
Super fresh ingredients perfectly portioned and easy to follow instructions. Everything has tasted excellent and it’s so fun to try a different menu item each night.
