Yes, customer service is now trash. I understand the need to outsource and scale, but yes, no one responds, messages are ignored, and calls are routed to everyone but JC. I had to do it all on my own . If I ever have to go thru this again, it won't be with them. It's a shame too because I used to refer lots of people to them. I'll be looking elsewhere. Don't outgrow your clientele. You lost touch.
The company has gone downhill and they don't care. Communication is nonexistent. You won't get a reply to emails, messages on the portal, or phone calls. They handle your case with no care.
My advice is that if you have a non-paying tenant, don't mess with an outfit like Evictthemforme.com. Instead get your OWN lawyer.Why?I had Evicthemforme.com file against my non-paying tenants in Jonesboro, GA, in January of 2021. An entire year passed with NO action by the court. I communicated with Evictthemforme.com, and my messages through their "customer portal" were ignored. So I finally sent them a letter, and they answered that the court was still backlogged. I had had enough by this point and I engaged my own lawyer, who found that the reason my case wasn't moving was because the court wanted a consent form to have the hearing via Zoom. Evictthemforme.com NEVER told me about that requirement. They also said they were unable to get a copy of the tenant's response to the eviction petition--but my own lawyer had no trouble doing so. My lawyer is now getting my case moved to the top of the list because it had languished for so long. As a result of Evicthemforme.com's poor communication and their failure to follow up with the court, I lost thousands of dollars in lost rent and in mortgage payments because I couldn't sell the house with the tenants still in it! So my advice to all landlords is to get your own lawyer. You will save money in the long run, because you will get personalized service and your lawyer will not allow your case to languish like Evictthemforme.com did. By trying to save money through using a service like Evictthemforme.com, I ended up losing thousands of dollars--and I would STILL be waiting for a court date because of their failure to follow up if I had not ditched them and gotten my own lawyer. When you need legal help, don't try to get it on the cheap. I learned my lesson!
