Wow pathetic

Wow. Tracy Brown and Tammie Summers. I stated that I was switching banks over their monthly fee and also over how ridiculous they and the main center handled a fraudulent charge on my account. Their response is the most petty I have ever seen. They sent me a letter saying they were closing my account. Luckily I already started the transfer of my ssdi because they worked it so the closure is before my DD. Petty , manipulative, and vindictive. I have never raised my voice but I did tell them I was leaving after about 18 years banking with them. I did say They deserve to go insolvent. I mean it even more now. That statement was with their call center, not these 2 petty, vindictive, and manipulative things. Pathetic!!! They are at the Leonard TX location.

Had this company for a home mortgage…

Had this company for a home mortgage loan. They have terrible customer service, misrepresented their assistance plan when I needed help with major floor damage, and reported to the credit bureaus that I didn't make payments even though I did and have the bank statements to show I was making payments. I tried to remedy the error and was told I'm only allowed to contact the bank through email. RUN AWAY from this bank as fast as you can. They are dishonest, slow, inefficient and are impossible to contact/work with.

Extremely Disappointed

Extremely disappointed with the lack of communication and customer service at this bank. We opened a construction loan with the hope of establishing an on-going relationship with a quality local bank. Instead we were misled and have a loan we have been unable to access for 8 months. It's simply sitting there accruing interest on the closing cost. I've tried speaking with both Ron (the loan officer that opened the account) and even the bank president, Greg Massey. Not only can we receive no real assistance, but the president refuses to respond to our multiple calls and emails. Extremely unprofessional.

First united bank sucks ass

We have our business account here at this bank and we have an assigned agent which she helps with crap she’s never able to help it’s the branch on 59th and western the female is useless. Every single time she’s been useless. I can’t lie it’s been a struggle with other companies paying us and we fall back but just like one or two days later not much but my god they charge us for each check that doesn’t go through 70 dollars each check never fails. I went to the atm and deposited cash so my account wouldn’t go negative it still went negative because they two one entire day to deposit. And the only reason I did that was because I got their one min late to the drive thru and they were already close. So I called and I let them know hey the money was in the account and that’s when they tell me it take an entire one day to process and I can’t help u waive those fees I was u guys could never help I guys only help to funk people in the ass. I got chase too and let me tell u Everyone has something to say about chase but my god the only problem with them is that I deposit one check and n it take five days. But I had over draft fees with them and they called me and where hey we seen u had over draft fee can we help with them is their something we can help. Bam took all the over draft fees and I was no it’s the check that is taking long to release and he was yes I can see that I will not the account so u won’t get charge overdraft fees amazing agent. But FIRST UNITED BANK MAN THEY SUCKS

First United Bank is horrible!

First United Bank is great, until they're not. I moved into my custom-built home on December 15, 2022. This was after a nearly two-year construction process. The lender stated on their website that the interest was locked up front, not at closing. When I pointed this out (after my interest rate changed), they chose to eliminate the statement (I still have the screenshot). Fast forward, the county tax assessor had wrong information, causing my escrow to be short. I begged and pleaded with First United to extend my loan. I submitted a loss mitigation packet, which they denied. They wanted me to be delient and damage my credit score before they would help me. I ended up refinancing and got a lower interest rate, but as a result, I had to add almost $8,000 to my mortgage loan—this shouldn't have been necessary!F*€k first United!For a bank that's supposed to be founded on biblical principles, the way I was treated was unfair and not good. I will tell everyone I know to avoid first United!

Nothing but issues

Nothing but issues. I opened an account with them in my home town before joining the military and they did nothing but screw me over. I called and cancelled a card that was lost but they never actually cancelled it on their end so then it was being used and my account went into the negatives and they tried to blame it on me. Now I'm having to fight just to get my money from a savings account because everything about this bank sucks. Website is super outdated and trash. Customer Support is lost all the time. I pray you don't bank with them. They don't care about you or your experience.

I have had a lot of problems with First…

I have had a lot of problems with First United. Lots of rules around auto pay, when lump sums can be made, etc. They like to get you with the fine print.

I have 2 mortgages with this company.

I have 2 mortgages with this company.I provided a good phone number at the time the loans were opened.On 02/02/23, I called in and spoke with Eric regarding retrieving loan documents.He verified my correct phone number, but took up on himself to add the phone number that I called him from to my account.The bank has contacted this number regarding my account several times. I called in to ask them to please remove it from my account. Yet, they continue to call a number that isn't mine regarding my personal information.Today, I called and was informed that the number was removed; however, they never put my primary number back on my account. So, the automated system automatically added a phone number that shouldn't be on the account anymore or in their database.I'm still waiting on a manager to contact me.

Love that I can take care of my banking…

Love that I can take care of my banking needs and car insurance at the same place. The people are always friendly to matter what branch I walk into
