Swift resolution.
Had a letter from Forecourt Eye re petrol not paid for. Emailed them with the Met Police reference number and crime number. To my surprise they responded within 30 mins saying that the incident had been resolved. Was very impressed that it was dealt with so quickly. Also advised on what to do if it happens again. Excellent customer service.

Terrible service, terrible fees, terrible people
Terrible service, extortionate 'administration fees' and they hold you over a barrel for something that did not happen. There is nothing you can do to challenge it either. They get you and that is it! You can't pay for petrol again until you pay for the 'charge'. It is a disgusting company, a racket, a useless excuse for somebody to make a quick buck out of people that have either made a mistake or have not made it at all. They make you feel like a criminal which was not the case. If you wish to deal with a company more amiable, I'd suggest speaking to the Yakuza. It would be better than speaking this company at any rate.

Our son received a letter concerning non payment. Forecourt Eye assisted us in correcting the error in his absence due to the incorrect vehicle being reported. Their responses were courteous, prompt and efficient.

Photo clearly shows me going into pay for my fuel. I was not told payment didn't go through. Taken 6 weeks to tell me the payment didn't go through. Not had to pay admin fee luckily! Made me out to be a criminal although I di1d try and pay!

Great for the companies that use them
Great for the companies that use them. Put the wrong pin in for payment card at Tescos and locked our card. No alternate card with me so asked if could come in. Said I must use the sheet that they filled in. NO ALTERNATE but to use Forecourt Eye. Threatening email received and 10% charge added to bill.

Lots of errors! Check the evidence
This is my first Trustpilot review, but I felt compelled to create an account to speak about my experience with Forecourteye. For context, I previously had an incident whereby a family member was driving my vehicle and did unfortunately forget to pay. That incident was settled and paid in full. I recently received another letter claiming that I made off without paying, at the same garage. I scanned the QR code to find two CCTV images, one showed my car parked at the pump entirely on its own, and the subsequent screenshot showed a car of the same colour with someone else actually filling up, but with a completely different registration plate, shape and make. The letter did not clearly set out any formal appeals process if an allegation is disputed. I would suggest that they rectify this immediately if mistakes like this are to happen, and going by the reviews here, it seems to have happened before. I then contacted them via their website to outline the error, only for their response to be that the garage claimed the vehicle was correct because it had happened before. It took a subsequent email with a fully annotated screenshot outlining the difference in the cars to mark the case as closed.I would hope that in future, such incidents are reviewed more in-depth and independently of any other incidents, to avoid these errors. Especially to receive letters mentioning debt resolution agencies causes a lot of unnecessary stress and could make certain individuals pressured to pay without fully understanding how to challenge the claim.

False allegation made against me
I received a letter saying I had driven off without paying. It was the wrong day, wrong time and incorrect amount as I have proof of purchase on my bank statement. Their camera at Tesco, Leeds Road, Rothwell must be out of sync as it was not me. Fuming.

If I could give zero stars I would
If I could give zero stars I would. The tills went down in the petrol station that I visited and myself and others couldn’t pay for our fuel. We were asked to pay online so I went to do this immediately and forecourt eye wanted to charge me an admin fee on top of the fuel price. When I explained the situation the person on the phone was extremely rude, raised his voice to me, paid no attention to anything I said and replied “if you don’t like it you should have pad for your fuel then”. I asked to speak to a supervisor and was refused multiple times. Absolutely shocking customer service. I’ve made a complaint to Forecourt Eye and have had no response.

This company use bullying tactics to extort money out of vulnerable people it was a genuine mistake made by the cashier at the fuel counter in tesco and now I've had to pay 100 pounds altogether for fuel worth 30 pounds .

Vile company
Vile company, that don’t care about the reasons behind the transaction failing, and despite being the petrol stations fault you just get the same moronic and robotic response from the call handler. These companies should be regulated by the government, as they charge disproportionate admin fees that cannot be justified.

Rude Staff on The Phone
Rang up to pay within 5 minutes of the transaction, as I had left my wallet at home. Was told at the petrol station if I paid within 24 hours they would be no charge. Got charged £15 admin charge. The member of staff on the phone was so rude and abrubt and did not listen to what I was saying.

Always a tricky one debt collection as it's a triggers anger and frustration in many of us. After many weeks of back an forth proving that the alleged £20.50 fuel wasn't paid for actually was by proof of receipt fore court eye then passed this to another debt collection company totaling now over £300 for their mistake 🤬🤬. Now their denying all knowledge and didn't even have the courtesy to let me know the debt cancelled non&void. I can kinda of reconcile how this sort of headache happens, however being lied to by forecourt eye manager Steve and then having to deal with Aron the rudest "customer" advisor I've ever had the displeasure of dealing with.

I received a letter informing me I had not paid £15 for my fuel. I actually went into the petrol station and I thought I’d paid it but didn’t realise it hadn’t gone through. If I’d received a letter stating that’s what had happened I would have gone straight into the station and paid but I object to the admin fee of £35 when I didn’t realise and went into pay!!! It’s disgraceful as it’s too much

I would give a zero but it's not an option. My husband paid in the petrol station shop but they charged him for the wrong pump number. Forecourteye sent a letter demanding money, I checked and my husband had paid the petrol station. I provided proof that he had paid but there had been an error by the petrol staff - they say that's the customer's fault. I did get them to acknowledge that they were requesting the wrong amount and they then said how much I'd have to pay. I've been trying to pay them since 30 December 2025 but the payment system is showing the wrong amount. I've been chasing them to amend the figure and they've now added another admin fee on as I've not paid them.I've threatened to take it further and pointed out how appalling their customer service is and that it's their mistake that's causing the delay in payment. They just keep adding admin fees on.Completely crooks.

scam!!!
The worst experience I was sent a fine for not paying for fuel,I wasn't aware that my card hadn't gone through, also wasn't advised by shell staff member at the till. Forecourt eye sent me a letter for the £20 fuel with £35 admin fee added, stating I had tried to steal fuel, I went into the garage to buy a coffee and pay for the fuel, if I was told the payment didn't go through I would of paid with a different card, I had good intentions to pay. I have been trying to dispute the charge and offered so many times to pay for the fuel. Ive also asked for cctv to show that I was informed my payment hadnt gone through, they refused to provide this. instead increased the fee to £120 and passed my details onto trace debt agency. I have asked for a break down to show what this £120 admin fee actually covers and I have continued to offer to pay for the fuel. I have spoken to shell garage who will not allow me to pay for the fuel and say I need to pay forecourt eye. I have also offered to pay the original £35 admin fee as a good will gesture, just to try and get this issue sorted, but forecourt eye say I owe them £120 admin fee now.Has anyone else experienced these issues from forecourt eye? how can they make me pay a fine of £120 on £20 of miss payment for fuel.

Cloned Plate.
Received Notification that my plate was recorded as having not paid for fuel in Southampton - I live over 400 miles away ! - Reviewed evidence further to scanning QR code on Forecourteye letter - My Plate had been cloned ! - Contacted Police and DVLA forwarded details - Forecourteye closed the case immediately - all within two days of receiving the letter. Excellent communications and service.

SOLVED!…
I received a letter from ForecourtEye stating that I drove away without paying for my fuel from Tesco Esso Express, Stanmore, HA7 1JN. It looks as though it was a problem with the machine as I put my bank card in and verified my pin - this is shown on one of the pics they have sent. I was unaware the payment had not been taken. I contacted Tesco via their WhatsApp helpline. Said I would like to pay for the fuel directly and am not willing to pay the £35 “admin” fee to ForecourtEye as this was not my mistake but a tech problem at the petrol pump. They contacted ForecourtEye and had the admin fee removed. Result! Thanks to the terrible reviews on here I did not bother trying to interact with ForecourtEye directly.

These guys are horrible
I had a very unpleasant experience with Forecourt Eye today over a genuine accidental fuel underpayment of £10.19. The petrol station manager acknowledged the oversight, but Forecourt Eye refused to consider this, and spoke to me in a facetious, intimidating, and unhelpful way.I explained I hadn’t received their initial letter due to living away from my address and asked to pay the fairer, lower amount admin fee but they didn’t care. Their approach felt rude, dismissive, and focused on extracting money rather than resolving issues fairly.
