bricked the item I sent in for repair
I sent in a cnc control for an led light repair. It was functional, but made it difficult to read a few numbers. The first time I sent it in, they sent it back after 3 months "repaired". However it came back with the same leds not working and as a bonus quite a few retention tabs within the cabinet were broken due to poor packaging.I returned the unit under their warranty with video of its limited operation so that there would be no ambiguity as to the needed repair. After another two months it was again returned to me after parts were supposedly replaced. This time it was 100% non-functional.I sent it back to them under warranty because I had nothing left to lose. After another two weeks they told me that the unit was not repairable and it was determined to be scrap. It took them 5 months to fully break a mostly working unit, but they succeeded. They continue to hound me to this day with e-mail offers to repair equipment. Yea.... never gonna happen. They ignore the e-mail preferences/opt-out, so here we are.
