Steps in the lease to own your car process lack clarity
Difficult to know the steps in purchasing a leased vehicle without having to email Mode and ask questions all through the process. Create a step-by-step guide to distribute to clients that will help them know what to expect next.

There was tons of miscommunication
There was tons of miscommunication. They seemed unfamiliar with how to do business of lease buyout in Ohio. They asked for things they did not exist. It was like having a “who’s on first conversation” from start to finish it sounded like there was a lot of people in the back office with a lot of inexperience. I would expect a lot more from GM They guided me to renew my registration as is in the license bureau and the state told me that is not legal and I had to get a temporary tag with proof of purchase for my new plate and I am not allowed to drive with the old plate so that is pretty scary. That is scary they gave me that information and told me to do that. Not once but twice.

My bankruptcy was discharged in 3/2025
My bankruptcy was discharged in 3/2025. Did a keep and pay arrangement with Ally bank to keep my car. Due to the BK, it was difficult to refinance the loan I had with Ally. Tried you guys and the process was painless and easy! Everything was done on my phone, got approved in less than a day and I’m saving 2.5% on the loan that I had with Ally. Funny how a Ford mechanic bought a Honda that is being financed by GM🤯. Thank you for having me as a customer.

MODE’s Process took 20 days of emails
MODE’s Process took 20 days of emails, faxing and phone calls. 8/25/25 I Applied for lease buy out financing, wasn’t completed until 09/15/25. I applied for 48 month term but they chose 72 months. If I wanted to change their mistake of 72 months, I would have to submit a new application. What a mess! A few years ago I bought out a lease and it was completed within 4 hours at a Jeep dealership.Why does the MODE process take so long? Customers can purchase or lease a new or used vehicle with 2-3 hours.

Easy to navigate and got everything done quickly. If I had a question and sent an email it was responded to quickly. The whole process was easier than having to deal with a dealership when it came to purchasing my vehicle after my lease was up.

Using mode by GM to buyout my lease and refinance it to a 5 yr loan was very easy to achieve. It is a very useful tool to help with loan servicing. I recommend it to people
