Purchased Coco Keratin and did everything to the letter and my hair turned out DRY and FRIZZY. Looks burned honestly. And Customer Service is USELESS. Do not purchase if you value your hair.
I have been using GK moisturizing shampoo and conditioner for over a decade. Up until now I’ve been very happy with the products, as well as their leave in conditioner and anti frizz serum. My most recent order however their shampoo formula has completely changed. It now feels oily/greasy both on my hands and hair. It leaves my hair oily and hydrophobic, stopping the conditioner from being absorbed. It’s so bad, I can’t even get a wide tooth comb through my hair to de tangle it while it’s slathered in conditioner!Hair is left dry and brittle whereas before it was so silky and soft. I’m so disappointed and unhappy with this change. I’ll be contacting the company for a refund of my order and will have to start the search again for a decent shampoo and conditioner for dry curly hair.
If I could give big fat ZERO I would. I placed my order in January 2025, had two missing items. After numerous emails they sent one of the missing items, two months later. The other item is still not received with no ETA provided. I have asked Ernie several times to give me a refund or let me speak with the manager, neither has been actioned. Ernie keeps saying sorry but we do not have the items in stock. He admitted the items were not in stock and can't have the whole kit as out of stock just because a couple items are not in stock, absolutely, you can! It's against the law to advertise products in stock and then not provide them. As I write this review it is now 22 August 2025, I purchased 20 January 2025. Absolutely disgusting the customer service! Never buying from GK Hair ever again!
Ruined my hair. I had beautiful thick hair and not its stringy and dull. Honestly I’m so sad I have my wedding in the next 6 months and not sure what to do.
Really regret not reading this reviews before buying. I have been having keratin treatments for a long time at home and in salons.I decided to try the best.well it’s not the best. My hair turned an orange colour Before I had applied any heat and super static after. I have had my colour change slightly but not to this level. And the static I have never experienced. I have had to apply a semi permanent and apply a gel cream, even though it’s not recommended after. But had no choice. My advice. Don’t waste your money. Am really worried about the longer term damage after. It has clearly dehydrated my hair.The other thing I found odd was that all bottles except the actual treatment had a seal.
Terrible customer service! Sent me a half empty, partially dried up bottle of conditioner. Their solution was to replace it "when I order from them again". Not NOW, when they already got paid for it! Ridiculous and unprofessional! Never order from them! In reading older reviews, they had great consistent customer service until recently. I'm wondering if they've been sold? It seems like they use a outsourced phone reps now. It would explain a lot. They did, finally send me a replacement bottle but I'm still done with this company. I don't trust them anymore! Too many other options!
I had an absolutely terrible experience with GK Hair. I purchased their keratin product, expecting quality, but was left completely disappointed. When I realized the product wasn’t what I expected, I tried to return it, only to find out that they don’t even provide a return label.I followed up with them for two months, and despite multiple attempts, they never processed my refund. Their customer service is beyond awful, unresponsive, and completely unhelpful. It’s clear they have no standards or accountability.This company thrives on fake hype and paid promotions, tricking customers into buying overpriced products that don’t seem genuine. They target people’s weak points with big claims, but in reality, the experience is nothing but frustration.I strongly recommend avoiding GK Hair at all costs. Save yourself the headache, and don’t waste your money on a company that doesn’t care about its customers.
My 4th time doing GK The Best was on 8th dec 2024 in Bogota airport El Dorado Hairdressers. I used to LOVE IT. Normally freeze was gone, but not this time. On 27dec, they repeated the treatment as good-will gesture. This time, freeze reduced a bit, mostly on the roots but the ends of my hair ended up straight (instead of wavy) and steel freeze from the middle lenght. I noticed the product smelled milder. I wonder if GK changed composition or the hairdresser are mixing products or not using enough. Unfortunately I am disappointed and confused. Im using all GK after treatment care: shampoo, conditioner, deep conditioning masque, leave in spray, and the serum. This is a call to GK to check on their distributors (?) or formula (?) and a call to me to find a new trusted haircare brand.
Best hair products I have ever used! I have been using the GK Hair products since 2010. I started with the Smoothing Treatments, like Resistant and The Best now, which is my favorite for smoothing my hair and making it more manageable. My go to products to use at home are the Shield Shampoo and Conditioner, Serum, Leave in Conditioner Spray, and Leave in Conditioner Cream! I am not coloring my hair at the moment, but when I was I also had the GK Hair color line applied on my hair and absolutely loved the results!
I have been using this product for years, and contacted customer service about a problem with the formulation of my most recent shampoo order, which was weirdly oily. I asked for an exchange or refund. They requested photos of the container, a video showing the consistency of the product, and after all that over almost a month, they have have done nothing to resolve the problem. After over 10 years of using this product, I will move to an alternative. Incredibly disappointing...
Horrible customer service! It took them ages to finally take my complaint into consideration and when they finally did agents keep changing after every email and each one asked for something different. When they finally offered me store credit and I accepted, they never emailed me back to let me know how I can use it!!!! I am still struggling with them after weeks of buying the product which was not good at all. Worst experience I've ever had with customer service in my entire life.
GK hair india:-for order number 16675 , two bottles had come leaking inside the box. So GK hair india initiated a return pickup of those 2 bottles. The bottles have reached their warehouse. But now they are not giving me refund for those two bottles

I had a keratin treatment at the salon using GK products, and it damaged my hair with a strong, unpleasant smell. Despite complaining and the salon offering another treatment, I declined, wanting to avoid further hair manipulation for three months. It's been two months since, and my hair remains frizzy and unmanageable. The salon refunded my money, but the damage is irreversible without cutting and regrowing my hair. The Dubai GK agent was unprofessional in handling the issue. There was no service recovery from there end to ensure the hair status. and the product even warns of potential cancer risk. Avoid GK products for your hair.
The gk hair products have completely destroyed my hair. My hair was thick now its stringing and thin. Its actually ruined. I think it's from the keratin treatments but I spoke too one of the staff online and they said you could use the treatment as much as you want! Which now I've fount out from my hair dresser your not supposed too. I complained to them they said they would look in too it but they haven't. My hairs wrecked. 😞
I am a professional hair stylist and I made an account with GK so I could off their treatments to my clients. Soon after signing up, I have been non stop hassled with phone calls from a UK number, phones from a US number, voicemails, emails and WhatsApp messages. For this reason I chose not to go ahead with GK as I find it extremely unprofessional. They are worse than than the PPI phones calls…
Horrible customer service , will leave you waiting weeks with no response. No urgency to solve issues
I showed how this product damaged my hair. I made so many keratin treatments and this is not only the worst treatment ever but it also damaged my hair a lot! The hair is so damaged that cannot be combed as usual, I regret very much of ever deciding to use this awful product and want to warn other people to not even try 😢
Great products in terms of quality and results. We required some urgent items and Aiden from GK Hair helped us a lot in providing great service and quick response to our questions. Order was delivered next day. Excellent customer service. Highly recommended
burned my cusomers scalp, my stylists who work for me had to attempt to get refund and they would not. then saw them on FDA. then they wont allow salons to sell on eBay or amazon removing competition and fixing prices scum vantabolli is a scammer
