The worst customer service i have had…

The worst customer service i have had with a security company. I have tried canceling multiple times with them and spent hours on the phone and yet my account still gets charged. Do not give this business your information or money! The only easy thing it seems is to get roped in

These guys are the best!

These guys are the best. I'm a mother of four from RI, and have used the services of this company on several occasions. I have had nothing but courtesy and promptness from them, and I will, and do recommend them to anyone who needs this type of service. The best thing by far though, in my opinion is the customer service. Not only can you speak to a real person, immediately, you can get real answers from them in a much more convincing and satisfying way then you can with most companies theses days. I'm big fan and you should be too.

Everything I needed

I have been looking into a security system for a while now. It was actually very important as my fiance and I are trying to make a family, and both of us have experienced break-ins at various points in our lives. It's scary, and I didn't want something like that to happen when we have a kid. So anyway, this site really helped me out. I had a budget that I was interested in spending, and although I ended up spending a little bit more than my initial budget, I was able to find the features I needed because HomeSecuritySystems showed me prices, and compared different services right there on the page. It was great and I highly recommend it.

It was a very good experience for this customer.

I was able to contact the Frontpoint representative quickly and he was very helpful. We tried to fix the faulty door alarm but could not repair it. He told me that he would send a replacement by FedEx shortly and was very friendly and courteous.

Glad I made the switch

After years of dealing with terrible customer service, I decided to make a change. The people at FrontPoint are helpful and courteous. They take your concerns seriously and take care of them extremely quickly. They system is easy to install and easier to use. I am SO glad I made the switch. I have already recommended them to many of my friends and colleagues.

Simple, effective,easy to use.

It took me less than 10 minutes to install. Set up with your tech on the phone was simple, testing each opening, simple walk thru of arming and disarming. It works like a charm, we had never had an alarm system in48 years of marriage. We were a bit intimidated prior to purchase,it was easy- no sweat. Thanks

Frontpoint security system

Easy to install and love all of the features! We get texts when kids get home or in-laws stop by when we are out (love that feature;-) Also love that there is no technician that needs to come out. We had lots of problems with previous system where installation was shoddy and they had to come back out and fix which is another day where I was stuck at home. Recently received a letter saying they needed to come out and update and to call and schedule. That's when I researched and found Frontpoint and switched providers. The monthly fees are much less and you get much more...with no hassle. Highly recommend!

Very professional in sales, good equipment, reasonable moitoring rates.

These guys are pretty good. Initially I thought self installation might be a challenge. It turned out to be very easy. When I did have questions (regarding sensor mounting), which were very few, the phone support team knew right away how to help, and provided simple solutions immediately. Entire setup took one hour including system initialization over the phone. Since the initial setup (almost 2 months ago), no false alarms, no problems. A couple of days ago, I did have an issue where we could not arm/ disarm the system remotely (mobile app/ website). Frontpoint was already aware of the problem when I called, and had the issue addressed within a couple of hours. Let me know if you want a referral.

No need to scrutinize any other alarm company - FrontPoint is it!

After years of really bad service from several companies and changes in our phone service in our house, we have finally come across a company that not only provides peace of mind in terms of securing your property, but also provides excellent customer service, which is a rarity these days. The Front Point system arrives within a very short time of ordering it and is easy to install. Although at first you may be wary of "installing" your own alarm system - there really is nothing to it. The only time that you may encounter any level of frustration is if you happen to have very decorative doors or door frames that make the positioning of the stick-on sensors difficult. There is always the option of going the drill-in route - which I ended up doing - and is very straight forward. Whatever your concerns, you can be sure that you are merely a phone call away from having a problem resolved. I have NEVER been put on hold, nor waited for more than a few seconds to have someone answer my call. Each time I was treated with respect, understanding, courtesy and just plain friendliness. The employees answering the phones are extremely knowledgeable about their products. All of their products are 100% satisfaction guaranteed. The Front Point products are completely wireless and enable the monitoring center and you to keep tabs on your property 100% of the time if you so choose. Don't waste your time calling the other companies who have to send someone to you (you might wait forever) and who are understaffed and underbrained (you will wait forever). Front Point is really the way to go!

FDR is a top notch orginization with performance that can't be matched!

I would recommend FDR to any of my friends without hesitation. I have been a customer for just 7 months and FDR has already settled 4 of my accounts and has worked to get me fantastic terms. This has taken a lot of the stress out of my everyday life!

Peace of mind at last

I was getting ready for a trip to the grand canyon with my brother and had been saving money in the closet.coffee can. I kept track of what I had and a week before the trip, I came home and the can was completely empty. It was filled with only silver coins and some bills including two $100 bills on top.. The can was full, so it was about a grand. The trip was paid for; this was my fun money. I had been thinking of getting a security system, and that sealed it. I am very pleased with the ease of set up and remote monitoring. I will add some cameras soon as I am away a lot and would like to be able to see what's going on in the house if anything. Great customer service. Thank you FrontPoint.

Great system

I had been waiting almost a year for the local security company to find me a system that would work where I live, without a land line. Frontpoint assured me immediately that their system would work at my house. It took only a few days to get the system and set up and activation was easy. I have called to check and see if the system is communicating with them and it always is. I love the system, especially the app and everyone I have talked to at Frontpoint has been very nice and helpful.

All the info I needed on 1 site !

I was dreading shopping around for a alarm systems , With all the comparing and searching the web to find the one that best suited my family. Then I ran across this site, I mean how much easier could it be. Best choice for home security

There are hundreds of options and it took me a lot of time and research to decide which was the best choice and honestly, I couldn't make a better decision. Easy to install, great customer service, the systems responds great and very intuitive to use. So far I feel confident that there are no better security systems and believe me: I've done a lot of research.

Very good site!

This site has everything you could ever need to know about home security. Especially with its top five list. It lists everything you will ever need to know. Gives over all ratings of the best home security systems. The section with reviews is very helpful. If i ever get home security this will definitely be the site I use to find what I need.

Our custom log home now has a custom security system!!

We checked several security providers, from the largest to some small, local providers, however in reviewing customer comments on line, regarding FrontLine, we made the decision to contact them. From the initial contact to installation, the process was very smooth, low pressure and we could not be more pleased with the results. Our "cabin" is a get-a-way haven, so we are not on site full-time, (yet) and this system has given us peace of mind, knowing we are able to monitor and adjust the system either with the smart phone or lap top, remotely. As a retired commercial insurance agent, we really appreciate the full support that FrontLine provides, and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a great organization to work with.

Not using the system due to false alarms

We have stopped using the system as we have followed directions for the motion sensor problem without success. It is upsetting to get calls about the alarm going off and it's always a malfunction. So the last two times we've just told them to ignore it. If it was a real break-in we would assume it was another false alarm. Nice people to deal with but a faulty system.

Good Customer Service but, missing features I had with LifeShield

UPDATED: Sorry, I thought I was prompted to review my security system which is FrontPoint. As far as the site is concerned, it was informative and confirmed what I was hearing about FrontPoint... ============================== Switched from LifeShield to FrontPoint because I wanted a cellular based system and LifeShield's cellular module was out of stock for several months. I also wasn't thrilled their customer service. Interacting with the sales rep Alyssa over email was efficient and worked with my busy schedule. I like the fact I was able to talk to her on the phone after 6:00 p.m. PST to finalize the deal. The price was pretty good, a whole cellular based system for little more than half it would have costed me to get the cellular module from LifeShield. Setup was super simple but, couldn't call to activate late on a Sunday afternoon because the activation folks had gone home by 6:00 p.m. PST. Had to call them when I got home from work the following evening to activate. The sensors are easy to install and you can rename them to anything you want like "front door" or "kitchen window." I also got the smoke/fire sensor for added protection and the little remote so I can easily arm the alarm from another location. You can monitor and configure the alarm online which is nice and there are apps for both Android and iOS. Though I happy with the system for the most part and feel more secure because it is a cellular based system, there are a few features I missed that I had with LifeShield. I felt the console for the Lifeshield system to be more intuitive with buttons that said Away, Stay, and Instant. With Frontpoint, you have separate buttons for motion detectors and the door/window sensors. It didn't take too long to read the instructions but, hitting the door/windows button twice to arm the system with no entry delay is not intuitive at all. You can't arm the system instantly, it will always take 30 to 60 seconds for the alarm to arm. The customer service rep I communicated with said there is no way to instant arm the system. With LifeShield and the ADT system I used a long time ago both had the ability to instant arm the alarm. Lifeshield has a built-in answering machine and cordless phone that also served as a second console. That was really convenient and a very slick feature. It was nice having the cordless phone/console upstairs and being able to instant arm the alarm. This comes included with the system whereas you have to purchase an additional console from Lifeshield. However, I'm still glad I switched due to FrontPoint's much better customer service. I just feel they are much more responsive and courteous.

Wow. This Makes it Easier.

I have been looking around for a home security system and found myself putting it off due to all of the searching involved. I really enjoy the snapshot comparison feature on this website. It saves me a lot of time and I feel good seeing the ratings and reviews on one page. I like that I can sit on this one page and make all of my calls for quotes. There's also a lot of other information about what's new in the home security industry, so I can do my own home assessment and be much more involved in the decision making process. I'll recommend it to my friends.
