They send me a promo code as a first-time customer and when I entered the code, it didn't lower the price. I tried to contact them three times asking about it and I never did get a response. I placed my order since someone gave me a gift card. A whole week went by before I received a status update. There are a lot of good gummy businesses and there is no reason to purchase from this one. Their veteran support even seem shady.
The products I ordered seemed to do what I expected them to do. However, the texture and coating was unexpected and appeared to be dissolving even before I opened the sealed pouch. Shipping was abysmal through ups and took 13 days from date of order to received, and might have taken even longer if I hadn’t contacted hometown hero to find out why it hadn’t shipped after 6 days. Then they had to verify me with a SS #!!! This was my second order and they didn’t “verify” me on the first order. Having to verify my ss# was EXTREMELY concerning. In addition, as soon as they get my email, I am barraged with advertisements for their products. Its highly unlikely I’ll be ordering again unless the product I get today is truly outstanding.
I had the unfortunate experience of giving Hometownhero a try and I regret it big time.They talk a big game about “supporting veterans,” but after doing some digging, none of it adds up. It feels like a marketing gimmick, not a real mission.Thought I was treating myself to some quality Delta-9 gummies. What I got? A surprise bag of Delta-8 and a side of regret.The effects were off not just different, but unpleasant, borderline concerning headache, nausea, and overall discomfort. I’ve tried plenty of edibles from reputable brands before and never had a reaction like this. Something wasn’t right here.When I reached out to their support team to address the issue, I was told that “individual experiences vary. Even worse, when I asked customer support about the ingredients used in their edibles (which should be a basic question), they couldn’t give me a straight answer. That’s a huge red flag. If you’re selling ingestible products, transparency is non-negotiable.Overall, the whole operation gave me sketchy vibes. I should’ve trusted my gut and done more research. Just sharing my experience in hopes it helps someone else avoid the same mistake.
I buy their edibles all the time, they are SO good and they do a great job. I have a couple of things on auto-subscribe. I have been ordering from here for at least 3 years at this point. I also love the fact that they help veterans.
First of all you get free shipping on every order (no need to spend a fortune). Second these are LEGAL THC products, people. Like? Potent stuff. I like getting their low dosage stuff and topicals because I have fibromyalgia, but I also get their CBD pet treats.
Not only do their products help my wife, the staff is amazing. I called with a special request and the person on the other end didn't even hesitate to make it happen. I highly recommend Hometown Hero!
