Worse after service u can expect. Keep asking homeowner to monitor and removing of battery. Now even to the extend to ask me to unpair and delete my device. For almost one good month stupid battery level just keep falling but only advice was to monitor. Worse product and service u can. Never go for igloo home ever

Igloohome products are junk
Igloohome products are the biggest pieces of shit stay away they stop working within the first year, they refuse to honor there so called warranty STAY AWAY HEED THIS WARNING buy a different product there are way better ones out there and Igloohome products are way more expensive Im telling you stay away even from the beginning Igloohome products do not work we had ours only 6 months and stopped working. Repeatedly called customer service they would constantly had us do our own service on it they made us do all this stupid shit to try to get it to work they just kept us doing things just hoping we would just go away I'm warning you for your own good don't buy Igloohome products trust me buy another more reliable product with a warranty that if needed will cover STAY AWAY.

Igloohome does not stand behind their locks
Just for any who want to know about Igloohome and their locks. I bought a padlock in September of 2023. I put the lock in service in November of 2023. In March of 2025, the shackle came loose and fell apart from the lock body. I did a few things to try to get the shackle to stay in the lock. There is essentially a groove in the shackle that catches inside the lock body. Evidently, the mechanism in the body is not functioning. So I contacted Igloohome via email. I described the situation and they told me the lock was designed so that the shackle would come out. Okay whatever. I told them this one will not go back together and I would either like to return it for repair or for them to send me a new lock and a return label for the lock I currently have. After a few days, I get an email back that says they have determined they can't warranty the lock and that they were glad to offer me a whopping 20% discount on a new lock. As I read their offer of a 20% discount, I chuckled. I responded to that email that I was not interested in buying another $100 plus padlock that was only going to last a year and a half. I told the guy I would suspect there can't be much to this lock and I would think they would want to get the lock back to see what malfunctioned in the lock. I told the guy they needed to do what was right and replace the lock. The response that I got was "we’re able to offer you a 30% discount on a new Padlock as a gesture of goodwill." The guy even made the 30% discount in bold. Which, is again, laughable. Listen, the idea behind the lock is a good idea. It functions well. My lock has been opened and closed at most a dozen times each week. It shouldn't have broken after a little over a year of use. Here's the thing, Igloohome is a company that won't stand behind their products and is not even interested in what caused their product to fail. I would think it would be worth them sending me a new lock just to get the one I have back to see what went wrong with it. Unless of course, they have had this problem with many of their locks and they already know they can't fix it. All they're really interested in, is selling me another lock. And they feel their offer of a 30% discount is a gesture of goodwill.

My igloo keybox locked closed with the keys inside and using the cable to charge it did not work. Then I got a second igloo keybox and it filled with water. Igloo will not refund it. Rubbish product and rubbish service.

I have had 2 of the igloo home key. The first one stopped working and was locked with the keys inside. It had to be prised off the wall and prised open. They sent me another one. This one failed within about a month with water getting inside. They are refusing a refund. Avoid this product and company.

They control what I can do with my own door
The door lock started out great until they took my control away from my door lock. Worst company out there!! Remove the ability for me to program codes to my own front door. I would never buy another product from igloohome. I have no reason to upgrade other than I can no longer set my own code which Igloo decide it would be good to do. I now only have the option for them to randomly generate an 8 digit code to my door but can’t chose a code I want. Good way to burn you customer Igloohome.

Agree with the below review. Purchased this product a few years ago for our Airbnb. Good concept but really worked properly from the start. Needed something that could be used as we were not in same area as Airbnb. Had it installed at an additional cost. Can not send codes to other users, only worked from one main account that completely defeats the purpose. Contacted the technical support team and quick frankly I appalled at the response.confirmed it was a technical fault but said it was out of warranty and wanted me to purchase a new product!! Are you for real! Pay twice for something that didn’t work in the first place. I do not recommend the product as it doesn’t do what it is intended to do. Don’t waste your money and time. Look for something better!

Put guest safety at risk! Solving a problem which does not exist. Stick to keys and a keysafe!
We are an agent and are forced to use Igloohome locks as properties are installed with them.Put simply, the locks do not work and cause more problems than they purport to solve. More than half of guests have problems with them.Worryingly, the codes on the locks stop working and guests are locked out late at night. The failings of the locks put guest safety at risk. If the wrong code is entered, the whole lock stops working for a period of time too.The integrations with third party booking systems are also poor and do not work well.And to add insult to injury, they try and charge agents for the integrations despite the customer being the property owner and the lock having already been for. A very cynical setup indeed.These locks have resulted in more costs through refunds as guests get locked out than they are worth. Anyone considering these needs to steer well clear - stick to simple keys and keysafes which work well, do not run of batteries and have been around for centuries.

I purchased an uninstalled second hand Deadbolt 2S. Was setup to another user account, so I was locked out. Online customer service was amazing, responded within minutes, gave good advice, reset things for me. Never had better online service than this.
