Worst experience ever in Saigon at the…

Worst experience ever in Saigon at the terras. If I tell you don’t take the menu because I want to order more while I was sitting there all ready for 2 hours but the stupid girl I warned here 5 times. If you take the menu you can bring the bill immediately. But sooo stupid she took the menu like they have only one menu outside at the terrace. And even 3 managers didn’t want to know what is going on while I told him in his face when I was passing by “BAD SERVICE “ .., Nobody takes his responsibility

5* hotel 1* service

Stayed at InterContinental San Diego from 24–26 December. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. The TV did not work properly, the coffee machine was faulty, and the table in the room was dusty, which raised concerns about cleanliness.Worst of all, my $300 deposit paid at check-in was not automatically refunded despite checking out normally and following up several times. The response from the hotel was unsatisfactory. Only received my deposit because the 30 day hold expired.Never staying here again.

I would like to express my absolute…

I would like to express my absolute shock and outrage at the behavior of this hotel’s management and to warn other guests that I was misled and financially harmed.On 15 December 2025, I booked this hotel for 20 December 2025 via Check24. Due to an obvious system error at the very end of the booking process, one night was incorrectly booked for the same day (15 December 2025). The booking was completed at 10:30 PM German local time, making it entirely clear that this was a mistake and that the night could not possibly be used. The amount of over €500 was paid immediately.I contacted the hotel immediately and explained the situation in detail. I was told that the hotel would like to cancel or amend the booking but allegedly needed approval from the travel agency to do so. Over the next four days, I was in constant contact multiple times per day with Check24, the hotel, and the agency.The agency clearly stated—contrary to what the hotel repeatedly claimed—that only the hotel itself could approve a cancellation or modification. I informed the hotel right away that I would be happy to transfer the mistakenly booked night to the weekend and even add an additional night until Monday. Despite this, the hotel insisted that they were not allowed to decide anything and claimed that the agency had not contacted them yet.However, the agency confirmed to me by phone that the hotel had already been informed and that a response from the hotel was still pending.What is especially outrageous is that the hotel then boldly offered me to book the planned two nights at full price, without crediting the mistakenly booked night, while falsely assuring me that a refund or change would be arranged once the agency responded. This was said one day before arrival, fully knowing that I had no realistic option to wait any longer under these circumstances.Because of this, I booked another hotel elsewhere—thankfully trusting my instincts. Shortly after, the agency finally confirmed that the hotel had rejected the cancellation or modification behind my back.In other words: I was deliberately misled and lost over €500 as a result. This hotel shamelessly exploited a technical error in the Check24 system instead of acting fairly and reasonably.Fortunately, I did not book any further nights and avoided losing another €1,000. I will make this experience public, and our entire company group—which regularly books hotel rooms—will never stay at this property again.This is not how customers are treated. This behavior is unethical, unacceptable, and feels like nothing more than a calculated cash grab.

Disappointed

This is about their hotel in Vienna. Hotel is clean and tidy, but bathroom very small, pillows way too soft and duvets too bulky and hence not very uncomfortable . A/C does not work. I requested a simple cake and very hot coffee with hot milk, as a surprise for my husband’s birthday, but got disappointed that the coffee was not hot at all and no milk was provided. When I called and requested, they did provide us with good hot coffee but the fun of having this hot coffee with the cake was lost. We were both so hungry that we had already eaten the cake by the time the good coffee arrived. I contacted their customer service on their chat line about this and specifically requested them to contact me by text or mail only the next day, to discuss this ( as I did not to want to make my husband upset with this complaint), but they called the same eve and my husband picked up the phone! The A/C does not work well. Requested this to be sorted. They tried but did not work. They said they could change our room but we were way too tired to do so. Not a word of apology from the front desk staff about this on our checkout! The hotel is very close to the music halls. Restaurant is good with interesting cocktails.

IHG double bay Sydney

IHG double bay Sydney, people avoid this hotel at all costs had to pay a $500 deposit on arrival Im now back in Uk and still waiting for it to be returned despite the hotel confirming that there was no money outstanding and everything was ok with the room I’ve now handed it over to the credit card company to chase it,withholding customers money is appalling customer service there are much better hotels in Sydney to stay in please avoid

InterContinental Dubai Marina

InterContinental, Dubai Marina.Superb 5 star hotel. Fabulous location, staff and food.Ask for a high floor, Marina view with balcony and you won't be disappointed. ALL the staff were so helpful and friendly. We can't fault it and would highly recommend this hotel.

Stayed at Intercontinental Century City…

Stayed at Intercontinental Century City which was the most horrific experience for my family. Room was filthy with dust, toilet stained, bath tiles mouldy, fridge had OPENED milk and orange juice, bed stains and HAIRS! When complained to staff, they said they will send a cleaner because they do not have any more rooms. We were in town for a wedding and could not move to a different hotel so we were stuck. When we checked out 2 days later they would not give any reduction on our bill or compensation for the disgusting conditions we experienced. Will NEVER use this hotel group again. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY ON THIS NASTY HOTEL GROUP!!!!

Crowne Plaza Hotel Dead Sea Jordon.The last thing to pack for out 4am departure was my Kindle which was on the bedside table. Alas we ended up leaving it. I emailed the hotel that day asking if they could post it on, but after 3 days of no response I asked the Agents to contact them. The hotel advised that they couldn't find it! I'm sure they didn't leave it for the next suite guest so you don't need much imagination to guess what happened to it. The Hotel never ever replied to my email - so much for Customer Care. So they have lost well travelled guests who will never use their group hotels ever again.

Ridiculous queues to get into breakfast ! On urgent business trip so frustrating. The queue snaked through reception and nearly to front door. Four reception staff behind desk doing nothing who could have helped out but when actually got entrance if breakfast area found only one staff member checking guests and the manager just standing around Overall worst breakfast experience ever had - IHG you need to mystery shop Won’t be staying here again - IHG Platinum holder

IHG avoid

Tried booking through customer services and after they took credit card details they simply hung up on me twice. Each time the booking was wrong, each time I felt I was lied to buy the booking agent. I will never book another IHG hotel.

Keith Barr reflects the real image of IHG?

I purchased reward points for my siblings since I want to have a trip together after my retirement. The plan was deferred after the death of my mother and then Covid 19. If my memory did not betray me, no email from IHG informed me that the points would be extended automatically for one year.... and then... one more year.... and then one more....and the latest one was extended to February 2023. Then on 19 Februrary 2023, I was shocked to find the balance of member reward points was zero. It meant also that my four other siblings encountered the same fate. Vivien LAI alleged that an email had been sent in December 2022 and advised the client to do something to keep the points. She first offered my elder sister 500 points as consolation, then she further offered her 30,000 points, later she admitted that my elder sister had some 60,000 points before the forfeiture. My elder brother had lost his password for email which became obsolete while the other had not yet received any. Mind you, there are at least three to four promotional emails from the group and it is very easy to ignore such important email. I purchase the points with my money earned, then they can forfeit it without making sure that the message is properly delivered and received. As I am diamond member, therefore, my point will not be forfeited even I make no action to increase my points. I am deeply disappointed with the handling of IHG group and wrote an email to the CEO, Keith Barr, guess what is his response? None! If CEO represents the image of IHG group, then you definitely know how I feel! I appreciate the service of IHG and purchase IHG points only for my siblings, in the end, how they treat me? I am such a stupid IHG loyal one!

Would be minus stars if it was allowed!Stayed at the Indigo Hotel Cardiff. Absolutely the worst hotel stay of my life. I wouldn't recommend this place to anybody. Small rooms. Very claustrophobic with non-opening windows which were opaqued so you couldn't even look out. Ate in the Marco Pierre restaurant. Wish I'd not! Ruined my son's birthday meal. The food, at best, was nothing to write home about. The service was appalling. Save your money and go to a different hotel.

I had my wedding here and it is a great venue (very posh). It ticked all my boxes and most importantly has loads of places within the hotel to take memorable photos. My guests had a great time and I am pleased with how my wedding turned out

More Then A 5 Star Hotel

I stay at the intercontinental 02 every year for my birthday I choose this hotel because it gives more then 5 star service for me from fast checking,beautiful breakfast service,room service and check out Thankyou Julia at reception for making my birthday stay a special one the efforts you made did not go unnoticed

Avoid at all cost

Avoid at all cost.I booked a stop over break in doha on return from pakistan. I had covid 6 days prior and had to change my airline ticket by one day. Ihg doha did not answer so once i arrived back on the uk i called booking.com and they told me to contact the hotel. The hotel then told me to provide evidence I did provide them evidence.They never replied so after 4 week i contacted them again and they sent me an email saying sorry but qe cant refund. 400 pound and not even a penny back.

After 9 years IHG membership I must…

After 9 years IHG membership I must reconsider to whom I am giving my loyalty.IHG is biggest cheater between all hotel groups worldwide.Their customer service is extremely poor and they advertise false campaigns and cheat their customers.On 27/05/2022 I made booking on IHG website and received rate of 84.39 EURAfter 1 hour I checked booking.com and same room at same hotel for same date at 84 USDIHG proudly advertise Best rate guarantee and that means if lower price at any other website possible they will match the lower price and as gesture will award x5 points for that stay.I filled complaint form and received answer that they will reply in 24 hours.After 3 days I received answer that this case can’t fall under this case and simply they reject.They don’t want even to see the evidence.After that I asked call Center to provide contact of higher management and they replied that my claim was transferred to them.Of course no reply,no reply will ever be given.I understand that I trust to gang of cheaters and liersall this years.IHG is so miserable if this is their way of doing business so I will recommend everyone to avoid this brands.Really miserable behavior

IHG Guest Relations / Customer Service Support shows no care or consideration for long standing and loyal customers

IHG double Charged me for my recent stay. The hotel says I need to contact Central Reservations to resolve this. Central Reservations says I need to contact hotel refer to Hotel direct. Now I reached the point of complaint and inform friendly staff who assured me I wont be cut off. I have been cut off 4 times up to now and will keep trying. Virtual Assistant does not work. As one of their loyal and long standing customers I thought this would count for something. IHG have shown me that loyalty counts for nothing.
