They don’t allow for cancellations on Vaccines. They will force the shipping after you call to cancel

This was suddenly on autoship. When I called to cancel they said they would put in the request. I immediately get a call back a few minutes later saying they can’t cancel because they already shipped. When you look at the tracking, you can see that UPS never received the package and the label had just been created only after I made the call to cancel. They know they have a policy they won’t allow for a return on vaccines. So they will never allow you to cancel a vaccine order when they can just go ahead and ship after you call to cancel and that way they force the sale with no recourse given. Very shady business practices. I’m going to post this for all the websites that will alert you to scammers and fraudsters.

Shipping is slower than molasses in January - at least 2 weeks before it leaves the store.

I have ordered from Jeffers several times with no problem other than horrendously slow shipping. I notice their website currently mentions shipping delays due to storms across the country. Funny, UPS, FedEx and USPS have not mentioned any delays in their operations due to "storms".

Jeffers has been my go-to for over 20…

Jeffers has been my go-to for over 20 years and I never imagined I would leave this review but, sadly, they are not the outfit they once were. The appeal of dealing with a small business is feeling seen/heard/valued as a customer, but as a company grows that is often lost and that has become the case with Jeffers. I paid extra to have my most recent order expedited and after a week with no updates on their website and no emails or any other communication, today, the day it was expected to arrive, I called to check on it only to be told that they "were under a shipping delay" last week. This term was (I suspect intentionally) misleading as it suggested something out of their control, such as a problem at UPS, but after more questions than should have been necessary, the woman on the phone admitted, in an apathetic monotone, that it was their warehouse that was behind and that not only would my order not arrive today but they couldn't guarantee it would even ship today. Or tomorrow. Or this week. When I asked why that was not disclosed either at the time the order was placed, or at any point in the week since, and more importantly why they accepted payment for an expedited order knowing full well they were not only unable to expedite it but that it would, in fact, take longer than usual, she offered no explanation, just a flat "we apologize for the inconvenience." Nor did she offer to overnight the order, or even refund the $4.99 fee I ALREADY paid for it to be expedited. To be clear, mistakes happen, delays happen, we are all human. It's how a mistake is handled that makes all the difference. When a problem is met with evasive (and some downright deceptive) answers, deflection, apathy and unwillingness to offer even a token gesture to make it right (or at least less bad), then it's an integrity problem. And that's a dealbreaker.

Do not purchase from Jeffers Pet

Jeffers is the absolute worst company to buy from. As a company theyvhave no moral integrity. I bought my first shipment of vaccines in May of 2024. I se it up on an auto ship. They customer service department set it up because buying vaccines I wanted to make sure it was set up correctly. When the vaccines arrived they were hot and the second set was also. There advise was to get an ice pack and send them back. They did refund me my money. I gave them a second chance big mistake as they delivered my November shipment fine however, my January shipment never shipped on the 9th I contacted them and they said it shipped on the 6th and would be to me by the 18th. I paid for 2 day shipping. I contacted them and told them this was unacceptable as the vaccines would be bad when they arrived. They told me they would refund me but I needed to send the vaccines back. When the vaccines arrived I rejected the package and not only do I not have the bad vaccines they never refunded me. This company is absolutely shady and deceitful.

Went to local store to purchase one item. Only one cashier, after 15 plus minutes in store waiting to check out...... I walked out. Ordering merchandise online at Amazon. When Dr Jeffers was alive, you never had to wait

Very poor customer service

Very poor customer service. Have attempted a couple of orders. They charge your credit card right away, but may not ship for weeks. They do not respond to emails and it is almost impossible to get through on the phone.

Ordered from this company for years Used to be stand up, company... Started an auto ship for vaccinations after first shipment they decided to switch to Super slow shipping and instead of soft insulated ice chest bag I paid for Sent thin Styrofoam. Vaccines were boiling hot when received of course, non usable. They refused to make it correct in any way, all for issues that were on their end..

Poor value, poor service

I ordered two fluvac 6 vaccinations and two horse dewormers. It took forever to arrive, and when it did the tip (needle and top plastic portion of the syringe) was broken. This made the product unusable. I contacted Jeffers. They claimed they were very sorry and would have a replacement on the way. Weeks later I spoke with them again. Again they claimed they were very sorry for the broken item and confusion and said a replacement was on its way.I was recently contacted again, and interrogated about the item, and told they would need to call me to “clear this up”. I responded below:I don’t know what’s so hard about this. But your constant reluctance to replace a defective order speaks volumes about your customer service. Do not send anything. Though I have been ordering from Jeffers for years, this will be my last order. I do not know what a phone call would achieve. I ordered a product, you shipped it, it arrived broken and unusable. I contacted “customer service” twice. Was told both times that it was being shipped.

They send me someone else's order

They send me someone else's order, expect me to send it back to them and then process my order 10 days late only via ground. Their shipping practices the past 2 years suck. I do not recommend ordering from this company unless you want to wait an enormous amount of time for receipt of product and/or get someone else's order. Also, their customer service rep Shania talks over the top of you and then hangs up on you when you try to finish what you are saying. I called back and asked to speak to a supervisor after Shania states the call was disconnected (ha,ha). I got Lewanda who accused me of using profanity, yet she refused to answer my question (3X asked) when I asked what I said that was profanity. Lewanda also told me they would not ship my order until they received the one sent in error, holding my order hostage for their mistake. They are incompetent.

I ordered $155 worth of flea collars on…

I ordered $155 worth of flea collars on April 18th. I received a $14 package of bird food instead. I have called three different times and was assured I would receive a return label and a refund. Today is June 11th. This is absolutely ridiculous. I will never purchase anything from them again.

Shipping options page doesn't load

When you go to checkout it is a gauntlet of pages instead of just one, and once you get to the shipping options page it just loads to a black screen. Tried different browsers, operating systems- just a completely f******* broken company. At least you can't accidentally give them money, because from most of their other reviews if you do you're in for a World of hurt. So, broken, crappy website = broken, crappy company.

In early February I purchased 12 horse bucket straps, cost was over $55.00I have ordered my farm supplies for over 25 years, in those 25 years, I have sent my supplies to 1 main address, that my farm in south Tulsa Oklahoma, I have used a Kansas City address for pet items a few times, and my daughter address once in 2010, The 1st red flag I noticed was after this recent order I didn't receive a confirmation email, I waited a few days, delivery is usually within 4 days, By day 5 I called them, No problems or concerns were noted, they were busy, short staffed and items were on back order, 3 weeks later, I called again, This time, WAIT.. they were delivered to an address I didn't recognize, she told me, in fact on the 4th day after ordered, She was going to investigate, and send me my bucket straps, and send me an email, Well, no email again, Last Friday March 10th, I called again, This time, I had actually picked that address during my order, and sent them to my daughter apartment, she hasn't lived in for 12 years, according to the sales lady, even though I have purchased hundreds of $ worth of product since and sent to my farm and Kansas City, The sales lady said that I not them, picked an address I used once, and didn't recognize it, That's possible, people make mistakes, Except this time, But, I know for a fact,I absolutely put the correct address, I had to enter a new credit card, which had me verify the billing address was the same as mailing address, So I go back to the " red flag" at the beginning, No email confirmation after order was placed, I also got the address from my daughter, it's a gated apartment complex, I called and asked if she had a package in my name or my daughter's name, She doesn't, I asked what their delivery packages procedure was for their Tennant was, " all package come to office " What if the name doesn't match, Well it's not accepted, Truth I believe, my money was taken and no bucket ties were sent by jeffers, Their new website quite honestly sucks,I think its new owners, They asked for an opinion on their products and updates on website after I placed my order, I compared it to years past, and how they have gone down hill in quality, I have a feeling it could be related to my missing bucket straps, I may be 63 years old, but I still own and run a large black angus farm, my horses are now retired, but the way this has been handled, I won't but from them again, I suggest you buy with extreme caution in the future,

Warm vaccines…

I placed an order for cattle vaccines on 1/29/23. Paid for overnight shipping, a styrofoam cooler and an extra ice pack. The package arrived 3 days after it was shipped and the vaccines were at room temperature. I called Jeffers and was told as long as my vaccines weren’t warm they were fine. They also told me they would refund the overnight shipping charge. That did not happen. Also my vet told me the vaccines were junk as they had to be kept refrigerated till they were used. Wasted a lot of money. Will never shop through them again.

I placed an order August 2022. They put it on backorder without asking and shipped it december 2023 and charged my card more than a year later.I did not authorize this and they refuse to send prepaid return label;. terrible customer service

They lie about free shipping!

They lie about free shipping!I placed an order after observing their claim of free shipping on orders of $49 or more. My order exceeded that. Upon finishing up my paypal confirmation payment I noticed a discrepancy in the final price. I stopped the transaction and made a call. I was told the payment was higher to cover shipping charges. I explained they stated free shipping. They then had the nerve to say that they didn't charge the shipping and in fact shipping was free from them but they had to pass on the shipping charges. Really? Who thinks that's free shipping. It's on all their pages. FREE Shipping!On top of that they hid all the additional charges until I got to the final paypal confirmation button and even then I had no idea. Their deceptive practices are awful. They shouldn't say free shipping then slide shipping in then blame fedx for the deception. Fedx doesn't have the ability to insert charges into a transaction. Jeffers pet did. A customer shouldn't have to read fine print to see if the stated promise was legitimate. Free shipping should mean free shipping! I don't care what they have to do with in their company to provide the services they promise. Really sneaky business practices.

Dont Bother--they take your money and dont ship!

So, you want to know if Jeffers is worth your time? After 13 years of doing business with Jeffers I can attest they literally have -0- ability to ship their product A) On time, B) To the right Address, and C) With proper communication to their customers. This is the last time I will do business with Jeffers. Highly recommend if you are looking for livestock/pet supplies you shop with a more reputable company like Valley Vet or PBS Animal Health/Vet supply. I placed my last ever order with Jeffers on 4/29 for some much needed vaccines. The website indicated that shipping could take until November, but that I wouldnt be charged until the items shipped.I checked around, but Jeffers was the only retailer with supply on hand (per their web page). So I placed my order (mistake!!!!) On 5/21 I was checking my PayPal account balance, and noted that Jeffers had Charged me for my order, but that I hadn't received anything yet. Checked my account on Jeffers, it showed the order was 'being handled' but hadn't shipped yet--but the order date was due by 5/11! It was now 5/21-- I hadn't received any updates. No notifications of shipment. Nothing!! And NO PRODUCT. Disputed the charges and was notified by Jeffers that the order was delivered on 5/5 by 300pm. Really? Because it never showed up, and someone is always home at that time. I showed Jeffers proof of the order status on my account, and shared the only emails I received from Jeffers in 2022 relating to this order-- they have since stopped responding. So there you have it. Jeffers will happily charge you and not send you your items, then ignore you when you noticed they stole your money and provide proof of their error. Save your time and money-- shop anywhere else! Wish I could share pictures on this site. Lucky you Jeffers I cant!!
