Daylight robbery
I saw a KK event I wanted to go to, which showed as having tickets available. To buy tickets, you have to set up an account and pay a £30 admin fee so they can verify you. I thought this was steep but accepted as they say you get that money back from the cost of the ticket. I paid it, and went to select the ticket for the event, which still showed as available. However, when clicking into it and scrolling down, all the tickets were sold out. There was one more much more expensive event left in this year, which was too pricey and not at a time I could go. So I immediately contacted them and said I'd like to cancel my application and receive my money back. No response for a while, so I contacted them again. Their reply is that they would give me a partial refund with a £10 admin fee?! So effectively, I've paid £30 to enter a ticket portal that when you get down to it is sold out. Complete false advertising. I don't have spare £30s in my life, I paid it in faith that I would be able to access a specific event. They are happy to take your money for absolutely nothing, I am shocked and have contacted my bank.
