Oxygen 61 packed up. - M-Audio I/F packed up
Bought Oxygen 61 Midi Controller keyboard a few years ago but hardly been used since purchase. I think its been powered on for about 10 hours max. Now refusing to start up at all - completely dead. Tried changing the USB cable but that didnt help. At the same time I bought a M-Track Duo interface that has had a bit more use that has also packed up on the output channels. Inputs (recording via mics into DAW) seem fine, headphone monitor fine but no output to the monitor channel. Frustrating - as both these bits of kit packed up in the same week and up till now both items worked really well.

Unstable DACs, horrible customer service
Like many others, I've been having problems with M-Audio DACs being unstable in Windows 10/11. These devices switch to different frequencies and bitrates by themselves on the regular, often leading to settings that the DAC never supported. For example: My 24-bit M-Audio DAC always seems to prefer running 32-bit, leading to messed up recordings, crashes, and generally unstable applications. This exact problem has been plaguing me for literal years now, even staying with me when I switch PC's or try completely different systems and set-ups.And yet, M-Audio never seems to properly respond to their customers raising this exact issue. It's always the fault of the customer (or their set-ups), while their troubleshooting consists of rehashing the same 2-3 answer over and over again. These work-arounds never help, by the way. Even when you tell M-Audio you've already tried those "solutions" up front, they hand you the same answer, or just ghost you entirely. It's quite a stellar way of making your customers feel underestimated and unheard. If you're ever looking for a brand delivering unstable audio devices, while consistently blaming the customer for their instability, M-Audio's got your back.

M-AUDIO BX4 - 4.5 INCH 2-WAY POWERED SPEAKERS
Just read a few silly reviews here, giving an entire brand a bad rating when an item fails after "a few years" or "after 10 years" for some friends. Well, stuff doesn't last forever. These ratings do not reflect M-Audio as a brand. I just recently bought a pair of M-AUDIO BX4 which are budget 4.5" monitor speakers, or call them multimedia speakers.Sound is by no means professional quality, but they only cost 10% or 20% of a professional monitor speaker. For the cost they are great and feature packed. However, the BX4 are not as good as the slightly more expensive Presonus Eris speakers. If people can afford the Presonus, go for those.I had several other M-audio items, mostly audio-interfaces and they all worked fine until I resold them. I think people who posted these bad reviews went out of their way to vent their frustration here, fair enough. Considering the quantities M-Audio sells I wouldn't form an opinion based on two or three negative reviews here.

No compatibility with Ventura after 1 year, not serious
m-Audio Duo interface not compatible with Mac VenturaLeaves me waiting without interface for one year long and no notificationThis is not serious . I bought a product and it should last and be usable according to today standards. Imagine that you can´t update the computer anymore, otherwise you lose your interface bought months ago!

Purchased a new M-Audio Oxygen Pro Mini…
Purchased a new M-Audio Oxygen Pro Mini . Once connected via USB the TEMPO light doesn't stop flashing then following their poor website instructions to connect it to Cubase it simply won't and doesn't work. Googled this and seen other reviewers saying the same. Incredible that in 2023 with so much competition on the market M-Audio cant make this an easy process. Defeats the object of buying this keyboard. I work with technology / software so its not rocket science to provide a quick installer/set up. Update: Found other user posts with same issue re blinking TEMPO Light so I've now managed to turn off. However when I select DAW/Preset nothing happens . No auto mapping. Instructions on the m-audio website could be better also not that i can get this to work anyway. Avoid until they make this work or easier. Also just noticed that 3 of the 4 faders have a really nice feel with some resistance. The 2nd one just slides all too easy. Don't they have quality control ?Update: Shop changed keyboard for another one and they all slide the same now. Worth trying before you buy.

Keystation 61 Mk3
Copy of message i sent in to support following my online non-help.Hi, i have recently had reason to contact support following my purchase of 2 x keystation 61 Mk3's. For info my ticket number was [#inMusic-182383]. In breif, i was wanting to reassign the Octave + and Octave - buttons to make them do 'previous patch' and 'next patch' in my DAW - mainstage. In the product manual it says (The Octave “+” and “-” buttons may be assigned to control one of seven possible MIDIfunctions. (See Advanced Functions for more information.)) What it doesn't say is that you can only assign the buttons to do the same thing. Example, i could make the buttons change my patches but they would only either go previous or next -- not both. It appears that your technical support is outsourced to inmusicbrands which cover several other makes. Firstly i had one email responce asking me to check the knowledge bank (which i had already done) and to reply to say if i needed further help! This was my only contact in twelve days. At this point i had the opportunity to do a web chat and after a small wait got through to Jesus Pirela. I'm sure you'll have access to a copy of the transcript but i felt that he didn't have sufficient knowledge of your product and even worse, didn't seem particularly bothered about trying to help me. Not the service i expect from M-Audio that i have had over the last 10 years or so. Basically i was advised that i couldn't use any of the buttons to achieve my aim. I didn't really want to return my new keyboards so have spent all afternoon / evening trying different things. I am not one to give up easily. Eventually i managed to get a couple of the transport buttons to do what i wanted. Sorry to rant but i'm not impressed and thought you should know. This was sent a week ago - no communication whatsoever. Very poor.

AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE
I bought on of their crappy MIDI controllers a while back After a while it went crazy and started sending random MIDI signals. I did the mistake of buying another of their Bad keyboard (my bad...) and after a few years it started doing the same. Random MIDI message (this time moving my panning on the midi track). And the same things happened to 2 of my friends. After 10 years they have the same design flaws. Bad brand, bad products, and I am sure they are aware but do nothing - they rely on fools like me falling for it...twice...

M-Audio sustain pedal
I've just bought an M-Audio sustain pedal which works fine with both my Yamaha keyboards and my Alesis Q-88 MkII. It's sturdily built and has more heft than the competition at this price point. It also has a non-slip base plate which means that, with lino or parquet floors, you don't spend half the gig trying to hook the thing with your foot to bring it back into range. The action is smooth, resistance is perfect and I can't recommend it too highly. A great product at an affordable price.

They wont help you with your problems
They wont help you with your problems, they answered the first time then i send them video proof and they say they cant open the video. Then i have sendt the video 3 times to them in another format and they havent answered, still. The worst costumer service i have ever seen. Its been 2 months and i still cant get the software i got with my product.
