Home is Overall ⭐️⭐️⭐️🌗 after 6+ yearsStill some blinking lights Mattamy home FUNDING ➖⭐️ after almost 7 years of home ownership I do not get treated like home owner Due to Unethical Loan Tech Leslie G I have not had access to homes loan in Florida bc she removed me a few weeks before closing despite about 720 credit score at time.In Divorce in Florida and NOT being on loan has given me Inequitable treatment to manage or have decision making power over home. Abuser ex decided not to pay mortgage and not allowed me to make ANY NEGOTIONS w/ current lender or VA.Additionally, MHF advertised as ‘Competitive rates, but then Leslie stated she could not get the best rate and caused me to initiate a $$$$$ReFi in 2020 (marriage was still present) Been in Limbo w/ home as I have had to Legally$$$$$⌛️ fight this UNFAIR treatment caused all bc LESLIE G did Not want to include my paperwork or behave vindictively when I Requested a different loan tech.Also title company they chose changed my name and put incompetent exes name as ‘et al’ not ‘husband & wife’ as many deeds are commonly written.I warned you UNLESS MH will ever step up to correct this UNETHICAL LOAN TECH, this review does not recommend their Lending

0 stars. Have buyers remorse for even having considered doing business with Mattamy. The quality is poor, at best. Mattamy does not follow through with promises made to buyers, do band-aid repairs to appease, believe everything is one of the following: 1) aesthetics only, 2) “within industry standards” or 3) “house is settling”. In the three months since signing for the home. I have spent this entire time working to get all the items noted at first walkthrough, corrected. Paint appears to have been done by incompetent painters, tile company is terrible, as quality of the work is mediocre at best, plumbers are so bad they had to get replaced, drywall experts are anything but, leaving the home with nothing but tape and/or mud lines that are visible throughout. Left paint stains on tiles, in carpets, on hardware, etc. paint used was PRIMER diluted with minimal flat white paint. Baseboards not caulked at joining spots. Door gets painted in hinges leaving the original primed wood showing when door is opened and if you change locks, you will see all the unpainted areas. Carpet layers have been out 3 times and have yet to get the carpet completed correctly, with areas of air bubbles remaining in the carpet to date. Having come from construction families on both sides of the family, this is the absolutely worst homes you can find. Mattamy claims they take complaints personal but the regional leadership deserve to be fired for incompetence & are worthless in all aspects. They have zero control of the vendors used across the trades. If we had to do it again, we absolutely would walk away. As dual veterans, fully disabled, to be treated like trash by this home builder is a slapIn the face & fact that they could care less if the work is done correctly, let alone completed, means a lot. Of the current owners, ~80% got independent inspectors and almost 100% of those owners are currently in dispute with warranty for repairs. Never, EVER buy from Mattamy. BUYER BEWARE!Joe Russo is unprofessional, condescending, and insulting. His staff come and go because they hire cheap, inexperienced, weak-minded, unqualified help. Workers supporting the build get paid by how many homes they complete work on each day. Todd Hahn, VP of Operations and Russo’s boss, doesnt even acknowledge correspondence sent to him. CJ, with Warranty, been here mere weeks, trash. Man cannot stand by his own words. Whatever unprofessional slob that did not even introduce himself, whom CJ brought with him this last time got kicked out of my house for disrespect and trying to talk down to me. He is scum just like Joe Russo. Dozens of owners barely past one year are selling already, all due to dissatisfaction. If you want to have a quality build you, a home and investment you are proud of, dont buy Mattamy, in Arizona at least.Mattamy has less than 1-star across the greater Phienix area and considered one of the worst builders with some of the lowest quality homes in this region. Do your research, talk to existing owners, ask inspectors about Mattamy’s reputation. If you are an executive at Mattamy Corp, you should be windering why so many owners are dissatisfied and why your local management is ruining your brand and reputation. Ask why owners across this region are coming together to start petitions against you. Why does everyone who deals with a two-faced weasel like Russo walk away disgusted and insulted.My wife and I grew up in construction families. We are retired veterans who bought our first home with the goal to leave our children with a home they could be proud of and instead we have a money pit for a home and our VA losn is paying for a residence that after 9-months is still one big storage. Ask why anyone deserves to be treated so poorly after having spent more than a half million dollars on what should be a quality home. I hope these reviews begin to make it to the corporate headquarters in Canada where the board resides and they investigate Russo and the rest of those responsible for treating new homeowners so poorly and putting the Mattamy name on such poor quality.

Re: Mattamy HOME FUNDINGI provided All necessary documents for home purchase (Leslie rep in Jacksonville, Fl office) for spouse & I with 720ish scores at the time. Loan officer Never tried to get best rate- had to refinance after a year costing $5k+.The worst part is she Refused to put me on loan despite me having better credit score, I Insisted I be on the loan, had less income.Now, soon X is controlling (abusing) me bc I am not on loan and loan company will not negotiate w/ me not being on loan, but I am on title (she barely corrected that).Leslie did not care what her choices would look like down the road: putting a main caregiver mom & kids out for homelessness because she was too Lazy to process my paperwork she stated. There were other problems w/ home Mattamy corrected, but the worst is from this Lazy Loan agent, like the many others that nearly took down the American economy years ago.Now going from Homeowner to HOMELESS w/ kids.
