Terrible Landlord
If I could give a no star rating I would. My daughter rented a property through this company for a year whilst at University in Brighton. Not long after she moved in and following a heavy downpour, water started running though the ceiling - whilst this was reported at the time nothing was done about it for the entire time she lived there. There was a huge issue with penetrating damp in my daughters bedroom and other areas of the property which took months to address and constant chasing with the managing agent. The property was in poor condition with peeling paint, damp, broken freezer drawers (reported but never replaced) and filthy mattresses and carpets - these were replaced and carpets cleaned at the start of the tenancy. This company quite obviously does not care about its tenants and wrongly assumes that students want to live in poor conditions. Communication was poor and there was no sense of compassion for the tenant’s in the property despite paying £3,500 p/m. A sign of how poor they were as Landlords is that the managing agent is not renewing their contract with them. Do not be fooled by the glossy website and their promises of ‘highly-finished accommodation.’ AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!
