I have contacted MotoPress three times…

I have contacted MotoPress three times over the last few years for help. We have a unique application where we manage bunk bookings for a ski house with 60 bunks. Andre has helped me to customize Hotel Bookings to meet our unique needs. He is fast at responding and keeps working the issue until the customer is satisfied. He has also offered some very creative solutions that I would never have thought of.THANK YOU ANDRE!

You know, I wanna support the little guy but not when customer service is this patronising.They fail to see that their value is primarily in their cost when compared to Siteminder, Little Hotelier, etc.

Booking Calendar didn't work out with…

Booking Calendar didn't work out with what I was needing. From what I read on the site I though it could handle what I was looking for. It's not that I don't have the skills to implement this plugin, it's that it doesn't provide all functionality needed. I bought within 30 days window and they could still not refund me on this, which is absurd. I'm not even going to use this plugin, I've deactivated / deleted it, and canceled my subscription. I'd think they would at least be able to refund it, given the time period.

Time lines restricted. Not helpful with work arounds

Tried before bought, one thing you dont realise before purchase and is not mentioned on the FAQ’s is that you can only display up to one year of events. We launched our 2026 yearly event calendar in November 2025 thinking they would all show up, well they don’t. Just November to November, December 2026 wont show up. Support refused refund and falls back on the “free trial” excuse.. no biggee, it was $30. The aggravating element is the amount of time someone takes to try the free trial of products like this.We are moving to Modern Tribe Events Planner, even the free product shows events for any amount of time in the future. We have several sites and are glad we did not purchase this product for other sites.It does look good, and its cheap. Just now its limitations, if that is even possible, before buying. Maybe this review will save someone $30.

Top-tier technical support, honest and truly helpful.

I run a tourist accommodation and use the MotoPress Hotel Booking plugin. I had a very technical issue with a multilingual plugin (TranslatePress) that was not translating email links correctly.I want to give special thanks to Eugene White from the support team. He was incredibly patient, professional, and above all, honest. He didn't just give a standard policy answer (saying "we don't support that plugin"), but he analyzed the problem and technically explained the reason for the conflict.His sincere and transparent technical opinion allowed me to understand the true cause (the need for "String Translation") and make the right decision, saving me hours of work and stress.It is rare to find customer support that is this competent and willing to go the extra mile. Excellent!

Misleading “Free Trial” and Appalling Customer Support

I purchased a MotoPress plugin that was advertised as including a free trial, with the checkout page literally stating “Pay and start trial.” Naturally, I assumed this meant I could try the plugin risk-free and request a refund if it wasn’t suitable.My assumption was completely reasonable — the “free trial” wording also appears on other pages within the same Hotel Booking plugin environment, which the plugin I purchased depends on. So when the checkout reinforced that message, I believed the same trial conditions applied across their connected products.I realised within 24 hours that the plugin wouldn’t suit my needs and requested a refund right away. Instead of a professional or understanding response, I received dismissive, gaslighting replies from support. The representative twisted parts of my message, falsely claimed I hadn’t provided a reason for the refund (I clearly had), and replied in a defensive, accusatory tone rather than offering any genuine help.It’s misleading to advertise a free trial when there is no trial at all, and it’s unethical to treat customers this way when the misunderstanding stems from their own marketing. Their support seems designed to wear you down rather than provide genuine assistance.Warning to others: Be absolutely certain this plugin fits your exact needs before purchasing. Once they have your money, you’re unlikely to get any meaningful help or refund — even if their own checkout and related product pages give the impression of a free trial.

Corruption of data and loss of data evens

We experienced a comlex problem with a dabase corruption which may have had the adverse effect on our Motopress Calendar product. Andre our contact in support at Motopress responded to an continuing series of questions and although the source of the initial problem was not fully identified he did go on to provide an online cleanup of our data to allow us to proceed.

No refunds given, check before purchase

I purchased the Appointment Booking plugin from MotoPress expecting it would meet my needs based on their website. After several hours of testing, it became clear it wouldn’t work for my use case, so I opened a support ticket to request a refund.Unfortunately, the support I received (from Eugene) was dismissive and unprofessional. I was told things such as: “we never stated that the Appointment Booking plugin can be used for overnight bookings. I think you would agree that ‘overnight appointments’ sounds odd.” Not only was this unhelpful, but also unnecessarily rude.When I explained I had started a chargeback with my bank, the reply was equally unaccommodating, stating they would be “happy to provide evidence” to the bank rather than offer any resolution.In over 20 years of purchasing premium plugins, I’ve always been refunded when a product clearly didn’t suit the use case – MotoPress is the first company I’ve encountered that refused to do so.Warning to others: make absolutely sure this plugin fits your exact requirements before purchasing, as refunds are not guaranteed, even if the product is unusable for your situation.
