They won’t repair a leak despite warranty

I bought two really expensive enclosures for above my driveway and around my balcony. I had a problem this summer with water infiltration, a man came out to inspect it, and despite numerous calls and texts to their office could not get him back to service the unit even though it was under warranty. I was given a song-and-dance about how they only have one service man for a large area and that the new company that bought them isn’t honoring warranties. Don’t walk away from these people, RUN.

Poor Materials, Shoddy Work, No Communication

Horrible company. Hard sell when they come to visit including a "discount" for signing while they are there. The sales guy couldn't even get their software to render our project correctly. They strongly hinted that it would take about 3 months to do the work. It took 13. At one point, to get the calculations required for the building permit, they said they had to "buy new software" - Geez, it is a patio. Their so-called expert had to visit 3 times to (re) measure and it was only on the last time that he realized that they had mis-measured one wall by a whole foot. Their manufacturing facility apparently only ships to Oregon once per month. Well, when they planned our project out, they didn't calculate the actual slope of the roof which meant they couldn't manufacture and send 2 of the window components along with the first shipment. Instead, they installed everything else and left plywood in those places. Then, when they supposedly ordered those 2 windows, they only ordered one of them. So after first installation we had to wait a month for 1 window and after that another month for the final window. The first of those windows took 2 guys 6 hours to install! The 2nd took one guy all day! In the first portion of the installation, 2 of the window panels were damaged. They installed them anyway and didn't say anything. I had to point it out. The materials are shoddy - exposed screws for example. The initial installers were a crew of 4. Only one of them spoke English and he wasn't here much of the time. At one point the other crew members resorted to Google Translate to ask me a simple question. The foreman who showed up a couple of times was an arrogant you know what. After installation, it rained, and it was clear that the gutter was not installed properly as there was water running between the gutter and the roof. Their solution: more caulking. Two attempts and it still isn't right. Caulking seems to be their solution to everything. The skylights are bound to fail. The glass is co-planar with the roof and sealed with some sort of adhesive tape rather than having the glass elevated from the roof as is the case with pretty much any other skylight. Now, 3 months after installation, the sliding door will not latch. Made an appointment with them to fix - he called and rescheduled, then didn't show up to the new time and didn't call/email. Their communication overall has been horrible. I could go on and on. I wish I had checked here before calling them.

They owe us 250$ can't get it Mia sent a form for us to fill out to get our money. She said never received it. Tried a second time same result she never received it. I sent her a message telling to look in the garage can where she put it. Stay away from these people. They never get back to you. How is that a life time warranty.

The experience has been terrible from all subcontractors hired and my roof still leaks I asked to have handle not lock me out. Took one day to get structure up but coming back to fix door took a whole day. Really weird when all you did was need to flip lock. Locking mechanism not placed right. Contractors failed to screw lock in right. They have came out twice to fix leak and still leaking. Promised a doggy door and once September hits that will be a full year waiting on company do not hire. Better luck with your neighbors than them do not hire

This company is horrible

This company is horrible. I originally called to get information on how much it would cost to re-screen my lanai. They told me they would send somebody out to give me a quote. They told me they would send somebody out to give me a quote. I made appointment in February, they didn’t have enough availability to April 17. The day of the appointment Ryan comes with an attitude to my home and was telling me they don’t give quotes, and trying to sell me screen and frame, told me it’s top quality and gave me a price of $5000 for my lanai which I know it wouldn’t cost that much, my lanai isn’t that big. My neighbor just got there done for $1100.

My screen enclosure was to be finished one year ago. It is still not complete, missing correct screen door, locks, transom and wood covered. I have spoken to more than 7 people and no results, they do not communicate within the organization or with customers. Now I have to look for legal solution.

Nice looking glass three season room

Nice looking glass three season room, the only problem is the roof has leaked since completion. I will say they were responsive to my calls and came out each time ( about four attempted repairs) they even completely stripped off the roof last time.however due to a poor design or installers it still LEAKS.

It all started well....but still not finished

It all started well, until the job was left uncompleted and no one including the Manager could tell me (after 4 weeks) when it would be completed. They certainly took my money on time but I will never recommend or use them again.

Once you begin making payments on a…

Once you begin making payments on a product you still don't have installed (sight unseen) they r done with you. Leaky roof might be explained when you consider they started and completed enclosure in one day instead of 2 or 3. Rushing to complete hours before a polar vortex, expecting caulking to properly seal, caulking that was applied and finished using fingers. I guess they fired the person assigned to be my contact during the process. However, that person was unresponsive. Replacement was worse. Lastly, they used a company called Green Sky for financing. This company is completely unreachable, however, they will start taking payments immediately. Green Sky and Patio Enclosure's deserve each other.

Horrible, picture are available.

Horrible, horrible people at the Maryland location! (So bad that corporate took over this franchise location) Corporate is no better! Had an install 8 years ago now and they STILL cannot fix several leaks in my atrium! NOW, they refuse to warranty it and want to charge me for their bad workmanship! Their own work they will not stand behind! Avoid these people like the plaque!

Unreliable to negotiate with

Unreliable to negotiate with, this company just call you when they notice you will have its situation opened to the public. Hope anyone else could pass through this ...

They don't stand by their warranty.

Purchased a three season sunroom over a decade ago and have been happy with it. However, both skylights began to leak. I was happy to see that all glass was covered by a lifetime guarantee against leakage "at no cost to you". Well that's not worth the paper it's written on. They wanted almost $1,000 just to come out and evaluate the problem. Their excuse was that labor isn't covered. I guess "at no cost to you" means something different to them. BTW Patio Enclosures was bought out by Great Day Home Improvements. Maybe that's the problem.
