This is an interactive course, which means that you get out what you put in. We had a great group and were taught well by Maxine, who was engaging and knowledgeable whilst making the learning experience fun and interesting. We learnt a lot.
I loved doing the Forest School First Aid course! The hands-on approach made it both engaging and practical, allowing me to feel more confident handling real-life scenarios in an outdoor setting. The trainers were knowledgeable and supportive, guiding us through each technique and making sure we understood each step. I now feel well-prepared to provide first aid in a forest school environment. Highly recommended for anyone working with children outdoors!
Highly recommended. Extremely practical and the learning approach means there is lots of opportunities to develop skills. Very comprehensive first aid course with forest school specific learning. Maxine is knowledgeable and experienced in her delivery.

We worked with Maxine to update our First Aid training. Maxine was an excellent trainer and made the day lots of fun which I haven't had with previous First Aid training. Highly recommended.

I attended an Outdoor First Aid Course as I am a keen mountain biker. With Maxine as the Trainer. Maxine was extremely professional and caring ensuring no one was left behind. I learn't a great deal and hope never to have to put it into action. We have to be ready and able if required. I am just about to purchase the Forest School First Aid kit which should take care of most emergencies off road.
Maxine was a wonderful trainer. She has a personable nature and is clearly very experienced in her field. Maxine’s teaching style made the sessions easy to understand and the knowledge stuck!I’m looking forward to refreshing my knowledge with her in 3 years!!

Maxine's approach to the training is clear, concise and relevant. Always happy to discuss specific situations that were relevant to a particular outdoor environment. Lots of scenarios set so plenty of chances to practise, Cannot recommend highly enough

Outdoor First Aid what a great course! Really enjoyed this, trainer very knowledgeable and lots of real life examples used throughout to help with skills being taught. Good pace and time to ask questions. Big practical element to the learning allowing for the theory to be consolidated. Very approachable and clearly has used elements of what is taught out in the field. Would look to come back in 3 years for re qualification. Cannot rate booking process or communication as booked for me, but certificate arrived promptly as promised via email.
Really informative and completely hands on allowing learners to retain techniques far better. Maxine was a great trainer, enthusiastic and engaging.
A great weekend completing / updating my Forest School Forest Aid, Maxine and Jane were very knowledgeable. The course was fun, informative but at the same time i didn't feel overloaded with information. Also met some great forest school folk :-)
Great course delivery, interactive throughout, not just the practical sessions. There was a lot of mixed professional and life experiences brought into the room, relevant to the courses and the tutors encouraged this, whilst maintain focus on the course content.Delivered in a relaxed but well structured delivery. I really enjoyed the course and feel confident to provide First Aid, should a situation arise.
