Supports puppy mills
We've been going there for over a year now because of the DIY dog bath. I go there almost every other week & have bought other stuff there also. Today I went there & there was a sign on the window advertising some backyard breeder's dogs for sale & I was furious. I told the cashier the problem with putting this kind of ad up when you live in the puppymill capital of the country. She could not have cared less & said "We try to help." Help what??? Help unlicensed breeders with handwritten signs exploit their pets & create diseased, unregistered dogs for cash?? Every dog purchased from people like that is another shelter dog who does not get a chance at a good life. This is shameful on the part of the company & the sign should have been taken down immediately. It's why all the big chains state they support shelters only & why NO ONE sells dogs in stores any more. SHAME SHAME SHAME. Taking my business elsewhere. There's a dog bath place right down the street. A little more expensive but worth it to avoid spending money with supporters of this vile practice. Happy to edit my review if they TAKE THAT SIGN DOWN and prohibit other signs like it.
