Tampa airport rental. The rental was offsite #1. The shuttle took almost an hour to arrive. The agency was a trailer about 7 miles away. About 10 people arrived for rental pickups and only 1 took a car. It wasn't me. They were overcharging by hundreds of dollars for insurance reasons. Never had an issue with legit rental companies before. NEVER USE THIS COMPANY.
VERY BAD COMPANY
To start, the airport shuttle never picked me up. I called 3 times and it never came. I finally took an uber to the rental office and the shuttle was parked out front. The customer service rep asked me for a specific insurance document. Since I did not have it available I was informed I had to buy theirs for $300/day. I looked over my shoulder and saw young families looking for another rental agency since they were also being scammed. I booked Priceless through Expedia. We already paid $75 for the car rental. We tried to get the money back through them but to no avail. will never book anything with Expedia again. This experience was a nightmare and priceless should be shut down. Expedia should be held accountable.
No, no, no! Stay away from this company. They attract customers with a very low initial price (about $78 in my case), but at pickup the cost increases dramatically due to insurance — up to ten times more. As a result, the final price is much higher than with well-known companies that may start more expensive but end up being far cheaper overall than Priceless. This was clearly a misleading price, and on top of that, they refuse to refund my reservation.I have already filed a second complaint and will update this review if a refund is eventually issued, including details of the late refund. However, when a company behaves this way, refunding the reservation is the bare minimum — otherwise it feels like customers are simply being taken for a ride.I also believe that Expedia, the platform I used to book, should better protect customers, especially when partner companies it promotes apply such unfair policies.
This is hands down the worst car rental experience of my life. We paid for full insurance, yet the company refused to help us every single time we needed assistance. On the second day, the car got a flat tire. When we called customer service, instead of helping, they made us jump through hoops — demanding photos from multiple angles and then saying the issue had to be reviewed by their so-called “Concern Team.” After waiting with no response, I had to call back myself. Only then were we told they would not help at all, that we had to fix the tire on our own, and that none of the costs would be covered. Two days later, the car would not turn off in a parking lot. Once again, the same exhausting process: send photos, wait endlessly, call back. The final answer was unbelievable — they told us to find a jump start ourselves and pay out of pocket, claiming it would cost them $300–$400 to send help. They even suggested we file a claim with our own insurance for a simple jump start. What is the point of paying for full coverage if they refuse to help when something goes wrong? The person from the “Concern Team,” either Matt or Matthew, was rude, dismissive, and showed zero concern for our situation. This company clearly makes their service as difficult as possible so customers give up and pay out of pocket. This experience was stressful, frustrating, and completely unacceptable. Please do yourself a favor and avoid this company at all costs.
DO NOT RENT HERE! Save your vacation and go with a reputable agency at the airport. I am extremely disappointed that Expedia.ca partnered with this operation. We booked 7 days for $142.58 CAD, but the final bill was over $1,800 CAD due to predatory tactics and hidden fees.Upon arrival, I was forced to sign a digital pad. They refused to provide a printed contract when requested, promising to 'email it later.' When I finally received it, my digital signature had been applied to multiple sections. When we got the car, we found trash from the previous renter under the seats and in the seat pouches—a kid’s pull-up diaper, crayons, wrappers, and a walkie-talkie base station. We cleaned up THEIR mess, yet they charged us a $700 USD cleaning fee for 'sand' on the back mats.We returned the car at 6:00 AM. We brushed off the front mats, but couldn't unbuckle the middle-row floor mats as the seats need to fold up to access them. In the dark, with only the car's interior lights, we simply couldn't figure out the folding mechanism. Additionally, their shuttle doesn’t open until 7:00 AM, which forced us to pay $30+ for an Uber to make our flight. Upon landing back home, I received an email stating they charged me a $700 USD cleaning fee for 'sand' on those back mats. They ignore calls and emails. Shockingly, an Expedia agent admitted they have 'dealt with this company a lot.' If Expedia knows this partner is a source of constant complaints, why are they still listing them? They refused my valid insurance, claiming they only accept specific policies (a detail not disclosed on Expedia). They forced their own insurance for $40.99/day and $14.99/day under duress. This company is currently being reported to the Florida Dept. of Agriculture and Consumer Services. Avoid this off-site trap at all costs!
Priceless Car Rental—The WORST car rental company I have ever encountered. WHATEVER YOU DO, DO NOT PREPAY FOR ANYTHING. I reserved a car at the Tampa airport (TPA). Getting to the Priceless car rental office involved taking the airport terminal train to the end of the line, and then waiting for the better part of an hour for the Priceless shuttle bus and to ride to their office. So it took about 90 minutes to get to the rental office after picking up my bags. While waiting for the shuttle, I called the Priceless office to be sure I was waiting in the right place, and to ask when I could expect the shuttle to arrive. The person who answered spoke very broken English with a heavy foreign accent. Usually I can understand people and speak some Spanish, but not this time. I could not understand anything. While at the rental office, I spoke to another gentleman who was also renting from Priceless. He had prepaid his rental to take advantage of a small discount. He thought he was all paid up, but he said it cost him an additional $150 with all the extra charges. To me, these charges sound like a scam. Maybe in third world countries these extra charges may be SOP, but in the USA? I have two pictures taken in the Priceless Rental office that show their insurance requirements and extra charges that you may have to pay to pick up a car. I walked out, called for an Uber, and left.Unfortunately the review website will not accept the pictures showing all the extra charges. My favorite: an additional $20.99 if the driver is age 60-78.
I booked a car rental thru Discovery with Priceless Car Rentals and paid for Insurance. I also provided Priceless with all my flight info. when I arrived they were no where to be found and their site is NOT at the Airport after calling they asked for all info again and then informed me that I had to buy additional insurance(mandatory) plus the deposit was higher then on Discovery. So I cancelled as what was quoted was not real
I had an absolutely horrible experience with Priceless Car Rental at the Tampa airport and would never recommend them to anyone. The shuttle from the airport took a while to arrive, but honestly, that was the least of the problems. Once we finally arrived at the rental location — which is about a 15-minute drive offsite — everything went downhill fast. They refused to accept my insurance, then attempted to charge me over $200 more than the price I booked online. When I questioned the sudden price increase and asked for help or clarification, the staff was rude, dismissive, and completely unhelpful. When I decided not to proceed and asked to be taken back to the airport, they were shockingly unwilling to help. I was left stranded and upset, and the situation became so overwhelming that I was in tears. The only reason I made it back to the airport at all was because a kind employee from a different counter volunteered to drive me, something Priceless staff themselves could not be bothered to do.This was one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve ever had while traveling. The pricing feels misleading, the policies are not transparent, and the staff showed zero care or professionalism. Save yourself the stress, time, and emotional energy — do not rent from this company. I wouldn’t recommend them to my worst enemy.
This company is a scam. First they required the declarations page of our personal insurance, not just the proof of insurance the state requires. Once we showed that, they refused us a car because we have a $500 deductible. Their rules say nothing about this, in fact, they say you may have to give a deposit to cover the deductible, which we would have done. We didn't pay much in advance, but they stole it.
This is the worst car rental company ever.. I rented a car with them, pickup time was 2 pm and they had a waiting list of 17 people and no car available. They were hoping people would return their car in order to keep renting out more cars. I waited for 3 hours on a car and now they refuse to give me my money back. They failed to provide a car, they failed to provide a car at the time I chose.
Do not rent a car from them. They charge you a 4000 Euro deposit, and at the end, they look for some weird excuses to get all your deposit. Do not rent a car from the.
to save me the stress of retelling these events, i've copied my google review below:edit after one week:after a week of Expedia attempting to contact Priceless Car Rental to obtain a waiver so they can process my refund, I was told by Expedia that they are unable to get a response from Priceless and I was basically scammed. As per the response from Priceless to my original google review, I phoned the Priceless office and was asked how long I waited until someone answered and I said under 5 minutes and was told, see, expedia should have gotten in touch this easily too. I was then told that it's all expedia's fault. So I asked the person if this is company policy to give away vehicles that are booked and paid for after a one hour flight delay and ONCE AGAIN, as if it's in their training manual, I was told she was getting too many calls and put me on hold. It's as if this company was started in a cave by 4 year olds pretending to be business people. I will save myself the stress and let whatever karma the world has to offer, find its way to this impressively unprofessional and fraudulent LEGALIZED scam centre. And shame on Expedia for being a co-conspirator. Never will use either company again.original review:the worst customer service i've received. they took my payment and gave my booked vehicle away after i was one hour delayed due to my flight being delayed. they left me stranded at the airport at night and told me to call back in the morning, all while yelling at me that they get many calls in a day and to hurry up finding my confirmation number. no apologies, just attitude and basically fraud. if you want to be scammed by an allegedly legit company, book through this company and know that any contact you try to make with them to resolve any issue will be ignored.
I made the huge mistake of renting from Priceless at New Orleans Airport! It was a good deal and I should have known a scam. The agent told me he had to charge a $400.00 deposit to my card in addition to the 121.00 due for the card. I have rented many cars so agreed. Normally the car company refunds your deposit. NOT Priceless MSY1 They kept the deposit and its 3 months now and I am still fighting to get it back. Never ever again! I should have known it was a scam operation, not located where other rental car agencies are, dodgy pick up service and a previous customer was in their office yelling when I arrived. Avoid this place
Absolutely horrible. We pause 1500$ for 7 days. Upon arrival we were forced to pay additional 1500$ as the cost of the insurance although we already paid the insurance with our booking. Car return was inconvenient as there was no one in the office. We were waiting 30 min in front of the rental agency for someone to check the car and to take us at the airport:
Avoid this car rental company. The final cost ended up being more than double the original quote due to over $1,000 in hidden charges that were never clearly disclosed upfront. These fees were not transparently explained, and there was no reasonable way to know this would be the real price before committing. What makes this worse is that other customers ahead of us were actively complaining about the exact same issue—surprise charges and misleading pricing. This is not an isolated incident; it’s clearly how they operate. The car itself was also in very poor condition. Almost immediately after leaving the rental lot, the tire pressure warning light came on, which is unacceptable and unsafe. Sending customers off in vehicles with known issues shows a total lack of responsibility. This company relies on confusion, pressure, and hidden fees, while providing vehicles that shouldn’t be on the road. Do yourself a favor and rent literally anywhere else.
This was hands-down one of the worst rental car experiences I’ve ever had.Even with a confirmed reservation, we waited over 30 minutes because the car was dirty and not ready. They literally had to clean it after we arrived. On top of that, the car was given to us on empty (E), which is completely unacceptable for a rental. The shuttle service is a joke. Shuttles barely come, and to make it worse, you have to take TWO different shuttles just to get to this place. We waited forever while other rental companies’ shuttles came and went repeatedly. If you value your time, this alone should make you avoid them.Returning the car was just as bad. The office doesn’t open until 9:00 AM, so for an early flight we were forced to drop the car off early, pay for an Uber to the airport, and then got hit with a $45 “early drop-off” fee. Charging customers extra because your hours don’t match airport travel schedules is ridiculous.Dirty car. Empty tank. Long waits. Terrible shuttle service. Extra fees.Save yourself the headache and rent literally anywhere else.
⭐️ 1-Star Review: Priceless Car Rental – Miami AirportAvoid this company at all costs. Priceless Car Rental advertises cheap rates, but it’s nothing more than a classic bait‑and‑switch scam. When I arrived at the Miami Airport location on November 30, they refused to accept the CDW insurance I purchased through Expedia and wouldn’t accept my liability coverage through Allstate. Instead, they tried to force me into paying an additional $900 in extra fees.Fortunately, I’m a Florida resident and had another vehicle available, so I wasn’t trapped into paying their outrageous charges. But many travelers aren’t so lucky, and it’s clear this company counts on that.Expedia deserves blame as well for continuing to partner with a business that generates constant refund requests and complaints. We ultimately did not rent the vehicle, and I’m now getting my money back through Chase for both the insurance and rental I prepaid through Expedia. This company’s practices are deceptive, predatory, and completely unacceptable. Do not use Priceless Car Rental. They are despicable, and no traveler should have to deal with this kind of scam.
I was late because my travel got delayed. I was not given directions to get to the pickup location prior to arriving. When I arrived they stated I would have to pay 30 extra a day for the rental.
