Another guy hit me while I was driving down the road and he was apologetic and immediately admitted fault.Pure totaled my beautiful car because of a dented door. The car was meticulously maintained by the dealer (at great expense!) and in excellent condition. It's a bit of a niche car and I had several people approach me at gas stations, etc. asking me if I would sell it.Pure totaled the car and offered me a super low payout and quickly instructed me to sign over the title. Not so fast, I said, and I kept it, knowing as a fact (as a car guy) that the engine alone was worth 2-3 times their crummy offer.I wondered, whose interest are these guys looking out for, anyway? Certainly not mine! I won't be doing any business with Pure in the future, that's for sure. What an insult.

PURE has poor communication
Someone who has PURE insurance on their luxury vehicle hit my car a week ago. I filed a claim with PURE over the phone, but it took 3 emails and days before their rep responded back. PURE says they can't reach the client. They won't accept liability despite photos, a witness, and a clear-cut case, according to multiple sources who reviewed the details. Meanwhile, my own insurance is calling me daily to offer to subrogate, which I guess I will if PURE keeps dropping the ball and making my life more difficult than it needs to be.

I worked there for almost a year between Feb 2023-Dec 2023. Shortly, after I left they were found negligent with OFAC and had to pay a $466k fine. First day on calls with members revealed the organization valued money over humanity. A girl in my training class was humiliated and harassed by a longstanding member “customer” who had displayed several prior similar behavior. We were told this was unacceptable behavior and they would put a stop to it but only a few months later somehow the same customer reached the same girl and caused the same result. HR didn’t care. They tried to tell me my health concern wasn’t a priority. Claims seldom got back to their customers. Lack of communication within all departments. UW hasn’t turned a profit in years and that has affected Subscriber Savings Accounts. Two stars for some of the customers I spoke with: senators, CEOs of large well known companies, famous musicians and athletes.

PURE insurance is looking out for you
PURE insurance sent out an insurance specialist to evaluate my property to see my structures insurance needs. They came up with ways to reduce my insurance costs. They recommended a water main shut off valve which would save 10% and a TING electricity monitor which would save 5%. These are meaningful savings with my large insurance policy.They handled my son's two fender benders with fully transparent information and followups. If you have an expensive property PURE should be your go to insurer. My understanding is that my prior insurer Chubb lays off some of their risk to PURE.
