Difficulty getting a pass on arrival…
Difficulty getting a pass on arrival and issues with the condo were sent at 8 the morning after arrival, by text and email. No response so I had to call in around 1 a was told the office was Busy, probably had not seen my communication yet. They would be addressed right away. No response till I texted again at 4:13 pm. Issue was not resolved with the pass till the last day. Issues with the condo never mentioned or resolved, poor to no communication offered by staff at FVH. Certainly not proactively attempting to care for customers issues, Appeared to be a “if we ignore it, it will go away” situation. A partial refund was offered, which is appreciated, but would have rather paid full price and had a problem free experience. When issues do arrive, they should be addressed immediately, not waiting for 8 hours to get a response after having contacted you 4 times.

Rethink staying here
We recently stayed at this Florida property and unfortunately had a disappointing experience.One of the main reasons we chose this home was for the hot tub, as we were looking forward to a relaxing, therapeutic backyard experience. However, we arrived on Saturday and the hot tub was not working. It wasn’t repaired until Thursday, which meant we were unable to use it for the majority of our stay. We did receive partial compensation, but given that this was a key feature of the property, it felt insufficient.In addition, there was a very loud mechanical device from the neighboring pool equipment that ran all the time. The constant noise significantly affected the atmosphere in the backyard. Instead of being peaceful and relaxing, it was difficult to fully enjoy the outdoor space because of the ongoing mechanical sound.Overall, while the home itself had potential, it does need the carpets replaced, the combination of the unusable hot tub for most of our trip and the persistent noise from next door made the stay less enjoyable than we had hoped.

This was 100% the best vacation rental…
This was 100% the best vacation rental we have stayed in - and we have stayed in many! The house was stunning, clean, had everything we needed. The neighborhood, amenities etc were fabulous. There really is not one bad thing about Reunion or where we stayed. I didn't want to leave!

Things we liked:Very spacious, clean, most beds were comfortable, modern look, plenty of plates and silverware, heating and cooling functionedThings that were irritating:1) Previous renters laundry was on the kitchen counter2) Loose tiles around the pool and pool was not heated as requested when we arrived, took a couple of days3) 2 of 6 dining chairs had broken legs and they took one away for our party of 7 staying there4) WiFi did not work and was down for 2 days before they got it working again5) Kitchen faucet hose was dangling and would not retract - fixed after 1 day. Did not fix the master bath suite detached faucet despite 2 visits to try and repair.6) No one extra toilet paper, 1 paper towel roll, 1 dishwasher pod, 1 laundry pack, no tissues7) Pool table had broken pocket and gaming chairs did not function

Cozy Island living at its best!!
We throughly enjoyed this property! The location was perfect for exploring the island. We especially loved the back yard patio with lounge chairs and fire table. Our first few days were cold but Dean was quick to make sure that we had everything we needed to stay toasty warm! Would definitely recommend a stay in this cozy unit, it’s small but has everything you need for a wonderful vacation on the Island!

Bear’s Den Gem- barely a gem
We were really looking forward to our stay at Bear’s Den Gem based on how beautiful it looks online. Unfortunately, our experience did not meet expectations — it felt more like “Barely a Gem.”From arrival, we had major issues with the internet despite being told it was restored. The provided hotspot was choppy and only supported two TVs on the main floor, making remote work impossible for multiple adults.There were also safety and cleanliness concerns: exposed nails in a bedroom entryway, stained sheets, and dog waste throughout the backyard that was dismissed as wildlife (it was not). Door and pool alarm issues, along with other maintenance items, should have been addressed before guest arrival. While maintenance fixed most urgent issues, it took two days and multiple follow-ups. We spent a large portion of our trip chasing resolutions and felt unheard and dismissed.Additionally, although located in a gated community, entering each time you leave is time-consuming and frustrating.The home photographs well and has potential, but it currently lacks the upkeep, responsiveness, and reliability families need. I would not recommend this property to anyone who requires dependable WiFi, strong safety standards, and prompt support.I’m hopeful that because of our experience these issues will be resolved for future guests — but unfortunately, it had to be us who experienced them, and the handling of the final resolution was very disappointing.

Seamless, spotless vacation rental!
This vacation rental was exactly as advertised...and more. The condo was absolutely spotless. It actually felt like a home away from home. Kitchen was WELL stocked with everything you could possibly need for having a meal "at home" Bathrooms were spacious, Beds were comfortable. Area was beautiful and quiet. Loved it!

Well Below expectations
We’ve stayed in the Reunion Resort for 3 consecutive years. (Different homes rented each time). This property is well below the standard we’ve come to expect from Reunion Resort. Upon arrival our early check-in (for which we paid an additional $154 was said to be ‘unavailable’). After much consternation and calls with the property manager, ultimately we were thankfully able to access the property. The majority of the home had an infestation of very small ants (even though there were visible ant traps in most rooms). Very off-putting; particularly in the kitchen! The upstairs super-hero bedroom smelled moldy and damp the entire time. The outdoor grill was non-functional (broken knobs, etc. totally unusable). The majority of the toilet paper and towel holders in the bathrooms were broken and falling out of the walls. The air hockey game was only marginally workable (pucks got stuck on the sides constantly during gameplay). One of the motorcycle video games didn’t even turn on at all. The main living room couch had multiple visible stains on it. The area rug underfoot was stained and dirty, as were all the bathmats. I will say that the pool and spa were well heated and maintained and very enjoyable.Ultimately for the cost and given the multitude of other options available in the Orlando area, I would not recommend staying here.It’s too bad honestly, because our previous two stays at Reunion were outstanding!

Lovely home for our corporate retreat!
Lovely home for our corporate retreat. Many of the TVs and remotes didnt work. I would imagine its impossible to keep them from getting mixed up. The TV in the dining room would not stay connected to our computers which was a little frustrating, however the one in the living room connected fine just was not ideal for our meeting portion. Had everything we needed and the extra side kitchen was so helpful for us to organize meals without disrupting the main space. Half of the games didnt work in the game room and some were missing the pieces you needed to play. The theater was AMAZING and was a total bonus as we were there during the winter Olympics. We would stay here again and hope some of these items were fixed for the next time.

Clean, lots of room with lots of fun things to do at the house (Golden Tee was our favorite!). The weather was cold when we visited so didn’t get to utilize the outdoor games, but having the pool heat was great! Would stay here again!

Heating and cooling problems plagued us the entire trip. Heat wasn't fixed for entire week we were here. Record cold plunged some bedrooms into sixties and possible lower. Home had a good amount of wear, wood floors need refinishing, pool and ping pong tables uneven, air hockey table half operational. Showerhead leaking possible into wall and rooms have stained carpets.

Good value, but needs some love.
The overall booking and communication was excellent. The accomodation was good and honnest with the VRBO posting. Florida Vacation Homes did an excellent communication job. We had three different issues with the house:1) The pool alarm on the sliding door was extremely sensitive and the outside boutton did not always work. 2) We paid for the heating of the pool. We were there for a week, but it took 4 days before the pool was warm enough to swim in it.3) The washing machine had rust inside of it which precluded us to do any laundry.We did mention these three issues to Vacation Homes. A technician came the next day do service the alarm. We were told that the pool would take time to get hot since it was cold outside, and were told that the washing machine was to be looked after but never was.Additionaly, the dryer is extremely loud and the oven doesn't work well. Overall good experience. The house was spacious and offered a lot of privacy. We were there for the PGA show and shared the house with 9 adults.

Perfect for a long weekend golf trip!
We were a group of 2 moms and 2 teen golfers. We had a wonderful stay! The unit was perfectly situated within walking distance to the main clubhouse and also the fitness center. The unit was spacious, clean and very comfortable. Check-in and check-out procedures were very clear and we had no difficulty with anything involved with the stay. Highly recommend and already looking forward to visiting again!

The place was worth the price
The place was worth the price. We had a larger group and were comfortable and able to spread out. Everything was clean, with only a little wear and tear. I missed the entry code in the many emails received and thought we were locked out initially. That was my mistake, but I was disappointed to get hung up on late at night with management while trying to get in. When I called back, I got a voicemail and asked for an immediate call back...which didn't happen until the following afternoon. It turned out fine. I had overlooked the code in the email and figured it out, so that was my mistake. I also didn't use the emergency line which I assume would have a faster return call time; however, getting told to "please hold" and then getting disconnected with no call back when our family of six was tired and, I thought, locked out was frustrating. It all worked out and I would stay here again for the price, space, and location.

Great but not perfect
Unit and location was great. However, the FR Tv wasn’t hooked up, no bath mat for master BR, sink in master BR didn’t work, shower drain in master BR disconnected and most distressing the safe wouldn’t open with our car keys and computers inside. FH addressed the sink timely but the safe took longer then needed creating great stress

They don't care about their customers.
We are staying in a unit at the Reunion Golf Resort. We locked our valuables in the provided safe and now it won't open. It appears that the safe battery is too low to retract the bolt. We complained to the staff and they sent out a tech that didn't have a master key to the safe. I asked them to have a locksmith come out to open the safe but they declined and decided to try to drill the lock on the safe themselves. They did not know what they were doing and drilled it wrong and now it won't open at all. The process has likely damaged our property inside the safe. This started at 7:00 pm and It is now 8:45 pm with no solution in sight. I called the support number for Florida vacation homes and the guy that answered wasn't even located in the USA and said there was nothing they can do. We check out tomorrow morning at 10:00 am and they aren't sure they can get someone here by then to attempt to open the safe. I asked the person for a supervisor or manager and was told there isn't one. These people are absolutely useless, they don't care about their customers and are just generally garbage people.

Overall pretty good experience
Overall pretty good experience, the home was comfortable and as pictured. A couple of the smaller bedrooms didn’t have adequate clothing storage. The pool in this unit does not get full sun, so even with the heat it was still chilly, but the hot tub was great. Steven was also very helpful. I would use this company again.
