Beware. Shipping cart will combine different packages triggering large custom duties that the customer has to bear and never intended to happen. Their app is not transparent that this is occurring. Customer service was indifferent to this, offhandedly blaming the customer. Because of their repackaging practices, the customer can be uncertain whether all items are shipped or whether some have been lost. I will not use this service again.
Went a bit crazy with my Sephora and Rare Beauty haul lol. I had them all sent to my ShippingCart US address and they combined my 3 separate orders into one big box. The best part is the all-in shipping fee.no surprise customs fees in Manila. I used Air Cargo and it got here pretty fast. Super happy and will use them again!
This allowed me to purchase products that I've been meaning to get for the longest time, but wasn't able to do so due to their unavailability in the Philippines. This is very convenient as I don't need to worry about customs anymore and the app is very easy to use.
I’ve used ShippingCart.com for several international shipments, and while the platform offers convenience, I find it deeply concerning that customers are pressured to purchase insurance to protect their parcels. This practice implies that without insurance, the company may not take full responsibility for loss or damage—which contradicts established legal obligations.Under Articles 1732–1753 of the Civil Code of the Philippines, any logistics provider acting as a common carrier is presumed liable for loss, damage, or deterioration of goods in transit unless they can prove exemption due to force majeure or other legally accepted causes. This means customers are already protected by law, and carriers cannot shift the burden of risk onto consumers through optional insurance schemes.Furthermore, the Carriage of Goods by Sea Act (COGSA), where applicable, outlines carrier responsibilities and limits—but does not absolve them from liability when negligence is involved.ShippingCart’s insurance model may be commercially convenient, but it should never override the statutory duty of care owed to customers. I urge the company to revise its policies and ensure that all customers are fairly compensated for any loss or damage, regardless of insurance status.Transparency, accountability, and respect for consumer rights should be the foundation of any logistics service. Until then, I advise fellow users to read the fine print and know their rights under Philippine law.
been using ShippingCart a lot for the past two years and so far never had any mishaps happen to my deliveries! used it for my sephora US orders, amazon Japan, etc and it is so convenient to use
I'm a long time user of shipping cart since pandemic era. at first their service was fast and good but now i won't use it again. Now you will be plague with delays and overpriced shipping. my last package took 3 moths to arrive.
worst packaging
Shippingcart's consolidation has drastically degraded while their fees continue to soar. I had 2 air and one sea cargo. All items are damaged since they now remove all items from their original shipping boxes and charge exorbitant insurance fees.
Their shipping fee from Japan to Philippines is exorbitant. US81+ for a boxed figure that is less than 2lbs.I also bought another item (nearly same dimensions and weight) from another company and they shipped it direct to the Philippines and it costs just US28. and that was thru DHL which arrived in just 3 days.Shippingcart says it will deliver my package in 4 weeks!!TOTAL BS SCAM! NEVER USE SHIPPINGCART!
bad customer service
They will scam you with shipping fees, especially their Japan Warehouse. I don't recommend it.
Item delivered last nov 27 but no item/package. I gave seller/sender proof, ebay proof, and also usps proof. they said no item on their end, after that, no updates or replies.
This shipping company is absolutely terrible! I can't believe they managed to lose my package not once, but twice! I would strongly advise against using their services. And don't even get me started on their customer service - it's practically non-existent! I've wasted so much money on this shipping company, and I'm extremely frustrated about it.
Really bad customer service- auto generated messages that claim that the issue was already resolved. They claim that 1 of my ordered packages was “not received in the Oregon warehouse” despite both the seller and DHL have provided proof of receipt. Very convenient letter written by their warehouse manager to absolve them of their fault after weeks of following up on the lost package. Used to have no problem when their forwarding address was in California. All my emails are now being ignored by their obviously non-existent customer service. Already sent email for reimbursement, but again being ignored. Look for another forwarding company to consolidate your packages.
Scammers.. Lost my $400 headphones and now just block me... Do not trust them!!
They lost and never shipped hundreds of dollars worth of products I shipped to their warehouse. I provided proof they received my shipments, yet they insisted they didn’t. Customer support basically told me there was nothing they could do. They went so far as to ask me to contact the seller and tell them I had not received their shipment. With these type of business practices they should no longer be in business.
If I had a choice I would stop using them but unfortunately until I still cant find a replacement at the moment. I'll have to put up with their BS. Unresponsive, robotic reps will tag your concerns as duplicate cases and close them instead of trying to help. Beware of reps Joan and Gio. They are nasty and unhelpful. Weeks will pass before they respond to any requests. If you check Shippingcart's different social media pages comments are deleted or disabled. Reviews have been disabled on their Facebook page which is telling. Even the IG page doesnt respond to ticket requests. I hear its only the Oregon warehouse that is the problem. Complaints of lost items are all over the place. I suspect there is almost zero security and employees are just taking stuff.
I am so stressed about dealing with the shipping cart, Shipping Cart Customer care, and its local forwarded LBC. Now It is almost 4 and a half months, my package is still in their LBC Alabang delivery hub for almost four days. The place is near me and yet the delivery is not yet done. I tried many times, requesting to expedite the delivery but to no avail. They keep the promise and closed the request since they will say it is resolved. BEWARE: If you bought items from Japan like brand new tower speakers or home theater receivers, they will charge you exorbitant fees. I pay 181 dollars for pair of tower speakers. They charge you due to "Needs Special Handling"You better buy local and you will save more.
Pretty much a useless 3rd party courier provider.Too many restriction its almost impossible to ship anything.
