Mont Blanc Slate for Window Sills and Bathrooms
We recently refurbished the house and used Grey Slate & Stone's 'Mont Blanc Fine Rubbed' slate for the interior window sills throughout. Not only does the slate match brilliantly with the anthracite window frames, all of them them are extremely smoothly finished and dimensions were spot-on to the custom-specified sizes. I've subsequently ordered additional pieces for matching bathroom horizontal surfaces to keep one simple theme throughout. Short lead time for manufacture & delivery and a very friendly service. Us, our builder and our architect all very impressed. Very many thanks.

Quality Welsh Slate
Grey Slate & Stone have supplied the pillared slate for my new pool room and retaining walls to the surrounding patio areas. They supplied the packs shrink wrapped which helped keep the slate dry until needed, every pack contained a good balance of different sized pieces that meant we could maintain the pattern without opening too many packs at once. We needed to order the material 1 month ahead but it was delivered on the date agreed which was greatly appreciated as we needed to book a telehandler for the offload.Grey Slate also supplied all the polished slate window sills which were superb quality and these complimented the pillared slate walling perfectly.

Excellent design and support
I have used Grey Slate to provide architectural stale to build a set of wide steps and wall toppers. It was quite a complex project as the steps were circular in the form of a Luyten’s design. Neil designed the steps using CAD software and the treads were cut to exacting standards, so much so that there is no groat used on the job. Delivery was delayed a bit and the design of the edging stones needed correcting but these are minor matters that are part and parcel with a bigger complex job like this and I would have no hesitation in using Neil and his team again or recommending them. Excellent work.
