Beds were comfortable, but the pillows were terribleDisliked · The whole of the hotel is old and tired. No fridge or coffee facility. Smelly water was coming out of the bathroom taps. The bathroom shower curtain rail was coming out of the wall and was bent. The curtains in the bedroom were hanging off the rail. The door didn't lock. The room was dirty and smelt. The hallway carpet was so worn it didn't lie flat. The entrance to the hotel had a lot of people loitering. We had to walk through people smoking drugs, which made us feel unsafe. The area outside the hotel had a lot of homeless people.

They truly deserve ZERO 🌟 I visited a week ago was given a very bad attitude by the Asian cocky boy at checkin Zachary I believe was his name I even made a smart remark like you don't have any guest and the one here you are being so awful I give you all avyear for final collapse of business he still had to put his smart remark the next day at checkout I tried calling ftom the room multiple times their Ai kept me on the loop and it wouldn't transfer me so I called l notified the operator she was apologetic I stopped by the front desk to request my itinerary I mentioned the extra $100 charge the sarcastic Caucasian said that is our rates what did y ou expect $5 rooms his ghetto Manager was standing next to him so when I raised my voice simply telling him they don't need to talk to guest like that she started going off the rails calling security and the rest you can see in my video and her video too which I am going to have to file some type of legal action for the way I was treated and abused as a guest Watch at rychernandez

STRAT is HORRIBLE...Don't stay there!
1.) I was told that the room smoking sensors would not go off if I didn't smoke in the room. Despite NOT smoking in the room, the sensors went off anyway and I was charged for smoking even though I never smoked in the room. The front desk supervisor told me she would investigate the smoking sensor and call me back. She never called back and no investigation was done, resulting in a $566 charge. Reviews from other previous customers show this happens often. This is clearly a tactic to steal additional money from the customers.2.) Despite having paid for the newly upgraded room, there was no chair in the room, the hair dryer was inoperative, the room was warm despite turning the thermostat down, the toilet paper holder was broken, no microwave in the room, and shower water pressure was very low. 3.) Of the 7 restaurants available, only 3 of them were open during our stay. 4.) Surrender of my ID card to use a luggage cart is unacceptable, considering the level of ID theft in today's economy. 5.) I tried calling the front desk/operator several times and there was never an answer.

The payouts for this casino is literally trash. Never do I walk out of this casino with winnings. I come a few times a week has with personal money and my weekly free play and its nothing but trash every single time. So I waste gas to come here just to leave broke 😂 not just once in a while everytime. This is truly just my personal and crapy experience I get each week so I thought I'd share maybe save some people some money.

They canceled a show with no notice. The box office workers said they canceled all the time...why have it? This piece of garbage hotel is a pain to get to, it is dirty and disgusting. I am not even sure if a credit was issued. Stay away from this dump at all cost.

DON'T HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH THIS ESTABLISHMENT! WE WERE THERE FOR VACATION IN NOVEMBER AND HAD OVER $1000 STOLEN FROM OUR ROOM AND ANOTHER ROOM RUMMAGED THROUGH.!! THEY HAVE DONE NOTHING ABOUT IT!! GETTING NOTHING BUT A RUN AROUND FROM SECURITY, RISK MANAGEMENT AND THE MANAGER. TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE!!PS. Room was horrible! Dirty, broken bed, lifted bathroom tiles, just gross!

I had a terrible experience at this hotel in October.! Upon arrival it took forever to be greeted and helped the self check in wouldn't work because we were checking in after 12 am. The room was kinda plain and dirty. 1-2 days into my trip I realized that my card had been charged $246. When we went down and asked they said it was for a smoking fee but the pending charge was listed before they even recorded the fee and the the supposed smoking occurrence. The lady said and your lucky our smoking fee is normally more than that. It was proposterous I know my friend nor I had smoked in the room. If we were smoking prior to them catching us why would it have only gone off once? We argued back and forth but they refused to return our fraudulent charges I was only supposed to pay the resort fees ($209+) with them returning my deposit. Instead I was charged an additional amount all totaling $650. And they don't care to help you. I have read so many reviews of people booking smoking rooms and the strat says once they are there oh we have u down for a non smoking room we can upgrade you to a smoking one? Then people with a non smoking room they put in a smoking room resulting in them paying to upgrade to a non smoking room and then they still have the audacity to add on a smoking fee due to the alarm going off... when clearly these people don't smoke paying extra to upgrade to a non smoking and then they still slap on more. It seems this is their tactic when someone books through a third party to make up for the difference in price. They also have no washcloths, dirty/dusty rooms, no free breakfast, or discount to anything in the hotel! And the pool closes at 6pm

Stayed 9/18-9/21 but checked out one day early (9/20) before 11 am and was told I could get my last night (Room & tax, resort fee , upgrade charge).THE WHOLE HOTEL & CASINO SMELLS LIKE CIGARETTES AND WEED! (CASINO , ROOMS , VALET , EVERYWHERE!) We originally had a select double queen room booked while silly me figured it would at least have a mini fridge however it did not. It also smelled of cigarettes and weed..I asked concierge but was just offered to upgrade. I initially declined however when my AC thermostat would not register when you pressed a button I was basically forced to upgrade if I wanted to be comfortable. So I repacked my things as I've been in the first room for a few hours at this point, I upgraded to an Elevate king room ( newest remodeled rooms). Women on phone told me floor 10 and below are the nicest so I said let me get the newest nicest so she put me on floor 11... No big deal however the room DID NOT look like the picture that was advertised. The bed was a regular bed and NOT the thick mattress in pictures of said room. We were on floor 8 leaving the pool and housekeeping had some doors open cleaning rooms and the beds in those rooms looked just like the pictures so I think we got a "partially" Renovated room but paid full price. Shower head is right up against the wall and does not move enough so you are up against the wall while showering. If you're tall, good luck! Tower was shut down all day Thursday for Sarah's birthday apparently but was not told until the morning . This forced us to pay weekend pricing to visit the tower rather than weekday pricing. All this wasn't too terrible but nail in the coffin is the FRAUDELENT smoking damage fee of $350 they added to my stay. WE DONT SMOKE!!! I went down to make sure I would get refunded if I check out a day early which helped the hotel as they mentioned they had 1000 check-ins and 1000 check outs for the day (9/20) . I was told a manager had to come speak with me because my account had a balance. I was then informed I was accessed a smoking fee. They showed me a graph of air quality for their special sensors they have in room that spiked at 4:20pm on Sept 19th. My wife and I traveled together the whole time on this trip and believe we were at the pool at that time however we did return not long after to take showers and get ready for the night. We did use a candle to not smell the new paint smell that the room had. I was told an investigation would which consisted of cleaning staff and security going in room to observe for evidence and they could check cameras to see if we were at the pool. This was told to me BEFORE I checked out. Come to find out I couldn't get room & tax back since i booked through expedia. I would get my upgrade charge and resort fee back for 1 night. I checked out expecting a call from management regarding this investigation since they made it seem they would get right on it. They had the room occupied within 2 hours or less of our checkout. I called for a few days until I got the answer back on the investigation that I would have to remind each person I spoke to about the incident so it obviously wasn't communicated properly when I checked out and completed the day it should of been. They say some lock report shows I was in the room at 4:19pm. This is a FRAUD. I stayed multiple nights and technically was in 2 different rooms and your sensor goes off only once??? SCAMMERS! Beware of this shady hotel. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Hidden charges galore
The headline room tariff doesn't include the "resort fee" so its really about double what you think it will be.They charge a "handling fee" of $6 for any mail delivered to you while you stay there. They say its on their website but I could not find it.The $75 daily all you can eat deal at their restaurants had a catch, the restaurants aren't open very often.Unlike other Hotels on the strip they charge $20 daily parking fees.The area is not very good, lots of homeless drug addicts and petty crooks hanging around. Don't walk around at night if you are a woman alone.The elevator to rooms is not security protected, a weird guy knocked on my door at 3am.On the positive side the views from the tower are awesome. For guests $10 to go up and a coffee is $4.50 once you are at the top.

This place is a rip off
This place is a rip off, they will charge you for things you can’t use. The staff will hassle you about timeshares, your entire stay. Both pools are closed but you’re charged a resort fee. The WiFi is horrible here, asked for non-smoking room but the entire hallway smelled like cigarettes. Room was clean but found a condom rapper on the side of the bed. All in all this place was horrible. Asked for a resort refund and they refused. Definitely wasn’t treated fairly. 10/10 don’t recommend.

Went here to play in the casino, pulled into the parking lot. Was met by a very rude young lady by the name of Achanti (not sure if correct spelling) Firstly didn't realise there was a fee to park, payable by card. I realised I had left my cards back at my hotel, so went to ask my husband if he had his, when the young lady glared at me and said, I'M SPEAKING AND EXPLAINING TO YOU... and I mean with attitude.I just looked at her and told her we would not be playing there, her reply was reverse out of the parking lot. What a dangerous manoeuvre we had to do, car's coming in and out and then having to do a 3 point turn in a narrow strip. She seemed to take great pleasure in seeing us struggle. I will never visit that hotel/casino again. They need to teach the staff some customer care, especially that obnoxious little madam.

April 18th - 22nd 2024. Stayed here with family as I was visiting for my birthday over the weekend. Everything was fine until I woke up at 4.30am on the 21st April 2024 to dripping sounds coming from my bathroom I walked over to the bathroom to find that my room got flooded there was water dipping from the fire sprinkler and the roof near the shower you could also see the paint bubbling off the wall due to water this was could of happened with the room upstairs leaving a tap on or a pipe burst. I was not impressed so I spoke to front desk and packed up all my belongings I also took VIDEO EVIDENCE of this flood happening in my room. It's now 5am getting to the front desk they upgraded me to a different room as they were completely sold out of the original rooms. Roll around the 22nd April 2024 around 12-1pm the day we are leaving. I spoke to the manager at the front desk about the situation which happened she said that I would be getting $304 dollars compensation for what had happened which I gladly accepted with her verbally. After returning home to the UK nothing has been refunded I spoke to the travel agents we booked with and they have been in contact with The STRAT Hotel and they have nothing on file about this issue which doesn't make sense. Surely something was written down as the general manager at the front desk took a while typing on her computer trying to figure stuff out. They have basically waved the case and closed it from my reading of the email from the travel agents today 16th May 2024. Really not happy with the quality of service provided by this hotel and the fact that my room flooded and this wasn't even recorded on file just doesn't make sense to me. I won't be staying here in the future and nor would I recommend it to anyone flying out to Vegas. I would also like to point out the whole place smelt like cannabis even in the corridor floors for the rooms which wasn't pleasant at all. The area around The STRAT Hotel is very sketchy DO NOT go wandering around at night!

HORROR!The room was so filthy we checked out after one day. Chose the option to have the receipt emailed, and later learned that the email sent to us was for the wrong room! Ended up paying for full 6 nights. Tried to dispute the charge and their response was "just because you have an email from us doesn't mean you actually checked out".

Checked into the hotel may27th and checked out June 1 2023,and today it's June 6 and the strat haven't even attempted to refund my $200 deposit back ending in card # 8524.My bank told me today the deposit hasn't been authorized by the resort yet because my deposit not pending in my account.I called the resort today and they said they see in their system were a deposit was electronically processed but said they sorry for the inconvenience, for not beginning the process of releasing my $200 funds back to my account.confirmation # R4230498661 may 27-31,booked through priceline(third party),but paid my deposit directly to the hotel in person.The strat 2000 las vegas blvd s 39104,need my deposit back asap,hopefully the hotel guest I spoke with today is processing my funds as mentioned in my conversation with him today

"MUST SEE SHOW' Brilliant
The "Rouge " show at The Strat Las Vegas is a "MUST SEE Show". It was absolutely fantastic. Very well choreographed , diverse and captivating. The lady dancing & frolicking in the large champagne glass was a dream to watch. All the cast were very talented & proficient show people. My husband and I absolutely loved it and was great value for money.

Top of the world restaurant is a must do stop for a great dinner and view! This is our second time in Las Vagas and we have went both times, it is that good. Service is fenominal and 5 star! The rotation is super slow and gives you the time to take in the view. Strongly suggest going right when you have the sun setting and into the evening so you may see both the city in light then transform into the night lights! Top notch place and a must do, it is expensive, it's is also worth every penny of it. Don't forget your camera! We will definitely be back!

The whole experience was terrible when we first checked in they said we did not pay enough on the resort fee and they were increasing it because we were staying 4 nights instead of 3. For $35 more A night we could have a coffee maker safe refrigerator and microwave and I told them no thank you and they wanted a $200 deposit which was fine. Got up to the room and it was very outdated not very clean lots of dust and cobwebs under the air conditioner. The reason I know that is because the air conditioner completely stopped working the very first night we were there call down and it did get replaced in a timely manner but that air conditioner didn’t work very good because it was either hot or cold in the room. There was only two bath towels in the room the phone had wires sticking out of the handset. The carpet was dirty. There is only one trashcan in the room and it was about the size of a gallon container. We never got housekeeping the whole time we were there we had to keep calling down to get towels and worst cloth and then they wouldn’t bring us enough up my niece went down to complain to the manager about no housekeeping after the third day and was promised that somebody would be up to the room and change all the sheets and clean and it never got done. We went to check out and they said they were keeping our $200 deposit because they said we were smoking in the room none of us smoke and we tried to resolve it with the manager and she just wanted to walk off and kind of laugh at us. Golden entertainment owns the Strat and I have called numerous times and have left messages with them about our experience and try to get this resolved and no one has ever called me back I keep getting told that somebody will call us and just couldn’t understand why nobody has called us. The STRAT hotel in Las Vegas Bad experience. Book on their website.that there were great pictures of their rooms. Booked a room with two queen beds. There should be coffee maker, refrigerator, At check in we are asked if we want to upgrade for 30 $ a better room, 30$ for every night we stay here, had also received an email about this, but did not think it was necessary as I assumed it was a good room, there besides I think I had paid enough for the roomnow, is shows that the room I thought I had booked based on the pictures I was shown on The STRAT Hotels website, was not, but just an old room which is not renovated, there is also no coffee machine or refrigerator and very poor air conditioning which making noise so much that you can not have it running, in the bathroom there is mold. In addition their resort fees are very high and you can not get around them. I would not not book at this hotel.
