From the Moment I walked In - Customer for Life

Sun & Ski Sports earned my business the moment I walked in. Their staff pays attention in a way big-box outdoor shops rarely do. They ask the right questions, match gear to skill level, and give you the sense that they actually want you to have a better day on the mountain, not just close a sale.When I came in for snowboard and ski rentals, they dialed everything in with a level of care I don’t usually see. They checked stance preferences, measured everything properly, and made sure the setup fit exactly how I ride. That kind of bespoke service makes a real difference, especially when you’re heading into variable conditions.If you care about being treated like an individual instead of a number, Sun & Ski Sports is the right call. Attentive staff, quality gear, and rentals that actually feel tailored to you.

Didn’t receive item / terrible customer service

Ordered an item and never received it. Shipping info says it was delivered but the photo record from fedex isn’t even remotely close to my location. Tried to contact customer support on multiple occasions and have been told that a claim would be open and they would follow up after they had more information yet I haven’t been able to get any forms response from them no matter how much I try to reach out. I would not trust this merchant as there are way too many similar reviews about shipping issues and lack of customer support.

Never received follow-up or product

Never received email follow-up or product.Ordered shoes on a Saturday, and on Wednesday morning, I realized I had never received a confirmation email or any follow-up. I was reminded because on another website, I ordered the same item on the same day, and it had arrived - the shoes I like are out of production and I wanted to keep a couple of pairs. With Sun & Ski Sports, not even an email or text with tracking information.Luckily, I took a screenshot of my order, which included the order number. I used their chatbot because the store wasn't open, and the chatbot created a ticket.In their follow-up email, they claimed they tried to contact me, but I did not receive any email, text, or phone call after three business days. Interestingly, there was a charge on my credit card, so it looks like they simply forgot to ship my order, or are very, very slow. Before I could respond to the email, which claimed they would wait 48 hours, they went ahead and cancelled the order.Be careful with this store. Take a screenshot or screencapture when you make the order. Very sketchy and wouldn't trust them with another transaction.

Absolutely horrible I went to get my bike fixed and omg the day after I got it I went on a bike ride and the tire was not even fixed and wasn’t placed right and made a squeaky noise it was worse than when I turned it in would not recommend clothes were cute tho

Go somewhere else

Walked into the shop in silverthorn Colorado was greeted at the door by a long haired undesirable individual that didn’t even look like he had a job asked us if we had reservations. I said no we just needed skis for the little one. He said we don’t do anything without reservations and we have rented from the same store multiple times before so I guess the manager flagged us off to the back to see if the guy in the back had anything better to say which he did not, and they dismissed us and said we couldn’t help us we went down the street to another place where a gentleman‘s name was Tyler. He put my grandson in a pair of boots and a pair of skis no questions asked and it was about 30% cheaper than them. Won’t be going back there again I have a considerable amount of money there in the past never again. There was only two other people in the whole store so they weren’t busy.

Excellent shipping time

Excellent shipping time. Very happy with my Hoka Bondi purchase. I was surprised the shoes did not come in a box though. Still, very happy!

Highly impressed with Sun and Ski

Highly impressed with Sun and Ski. I placed my order on a Saturday evening, received an email notification with tracking information the very next day, and it came fast on a Tuesday afternoon. Highly impressed with this establishment, I will never order from another company again for my needs. Thank you!

Exemplary Customer Service

The level of customer service I have received is exemplary! Especially in a day and age when mediocre customer service is extremely hard to find. I didn’t have to spend long hours getting transferred to multiple departments to end in a zero reaction result. I said maybe two sentences of my issue and Kim took the bull by the horns and resolved it. With such a large order and multiple shipping locations involved, I was sure something would be missed at the beginning especially in such a frantic time of year. Nope! Kim handled everything and I am no longer concerned about not getting our gear in time for our first family vacation in years! Thank you so much for all of your assistance and going above and beyond to address my needs! Customer for life and will recommend to everyone!! Thank you again!

Sale ski boots

Bought a pair of men’s Technica Mach ski boots online last pair for $199.00.Waited 5 days for tracking then all of a sudden I get an email stating that my order was cancelled!This company sucks!I’ve done so much business with them in the past.No more!In fact, I know what I usually want to buy in ski boots, so I went in last year to buy a pair and told the sales person what size I needed.He proceeded to tell me that just for him to bring out the size I asked for, I would be charged a $50 fit fee!I told him i didn’t need to be fitted.He said that was their policy!Screw off Sun and ski!Thanks for the anticipation of new boots only to be surprised by a cancelled order!No wonder so many of your stores are going out of business!Rightly so.

I'd really like to know why I got a…

I'd really like to know why I got a phishing email from this place in Texas in the USA when I live in Australia? Who the hell are you? It's not the first scam email I've had from Texas but it's the first I've had from what I think is business. Usually they come from those shops you have in your country that act like a post office. Just stop sending them whoever you are as I'm never going to be sucked in by your dodgy schemes!

Hidden fees on returns

Hidden fees on returns, called price gauging, buyers beware. Sent me a ship label for return, $7.95 for a sundress, but the problem is they deducted $15.35 from refund, I had paid $6.95 on my original payment for shipping to me, THEIR LABEL, now $15.35 to return.BUYER BEWARE.

Do not order online!! You will not get what you ordered

I ordered 4 items and only received one of them. The customer service is garbage. I still have no resolution. Do not trust this company. They will drop you like a bad habit. I just want my money back so I can spend my money with a better company.

We ordered a ski helmet and goggles for…

We ordered a ski helmet and goggles for our daughter on a Saturday(yes realizing they were closed at that time) BUT we paid for expedited Fed Ex Overnight shipping to arrive on Tuesday.We were leaving for a ski vacation on Thursday. So imagine my surprise, the goggles shipped, but not the helmet.We received the goggles on Tuesday as expected, but No sign of the helmet.I called the store/customer service line.The lady stated, yes you ordered, but the store had already sold that helmet, so we moved your order(Today/Tuesday/the day I was suppose to receive the helmet) to another store, and we'll get it to you by the end of the week.After some discussion, she finally understood(I think) that we paid for Overnight shipping for a reason. She then put me on hold and called the second store to make sure they were shipping it out that day, so we could receive it by Wednesday, and then we would still be able to have the helmet for the trip. After about 5-10 minutes on hold, she came back and apologized and stated that the store my order had been transferred to, also did NOT have the helmet. It was at that time, she offered to give me a refund for the helmet and shipping. My main complaint is not that they didn't have the helmet or that it had been sold. I get that and know inventory systems and product websites may not be updated at all times.BUT, nobody at Sun & Ski Sports ever contacted me to let me know that my order wasn't coming. No calls and No emails.If I had not called them, I imagine we would have never got a helmet or a refund, because they apparently have a huge communication issue.Obviously it goes without saying, that we will NEVER use this company again.

Sun & Ski Sends Used Pair Sneakers & Claims They “Can’t Guarantee An Untouched Pair”

Bought new on cloud sneakers and they sent me a used pair. Customer service claimed these shoes were simply tried on in store and stated “we cannot guarantee an untouched pair”. The shoes had dirt and dirt water stains on the bottom, not to mention quite creased all along the outer bottom area. They did send a return label, but customer service is odd to deal with. Not worth the hassle if you want the new shoes you actually paid for since Sun & Ski stated they can’t guarantee an untouched pair after sending clearly used sneakers. Oh and the sneakers took 2 weeks to get from texas to the east coast. Can’t speak on their other items, but better off buying shoes elsewhere if that’s how they feel about sending used sneakers.

I´m so happy I found this store!

I´m so happy I found sun and ski, these guys are amazing. The interface is a bit basic, but the prices are unbeatable. I was looking for a pair of Tecnica shoes, which I couldn´t find anywhere else in the color I wanted. When I made the purchase I was a bit afraid; it was the first time I had purchased from them and there were not many reviews available. The day after I placed my order, I received an e-mail from customer service, updating me on it. Customer service would reply immediately to all my e-mails and they were always super nice.I received my order in a timely manner and the shoes are amazing!!! I ended up buying more items from them, and I will definitively buy from them again. I highly recommend this store
