A scam using a fake shipping service
Two days after making my order (January 5th 2022), I received the following mail, asking me to pay 1000$ for "insurance" due to "covid-19". Come on. They even have a fake shipping site, in which my package is "on hold" since then: safelogisticservice.com. It's been 50 days since my order. I refused to pay for the "insurance".Dear Consignee, We are pleased to inform you that your shipment is now ON HOLD. We Have A Package Here At Our Facility With Tracking Number XXXXXXX To Be Delivered To XXXXXXXXX On Landing of your package in Amman, Jordan. We Have been notified by our delivery expert Your Package Has NO INSURANCE. Prior to Section 116 Of the Memorandum that Governs Safe Line Logistic service all packages must have an insurance during this COVID-19 Virus period reason for this is to guarantee your package against theft or damage. If Your package gets missing or is being tampered with upon delivery we shall be held responsible for that. Currently, We have Decided To Put your Package On HOLD and Your Tracking Status Has Been Updated. Also,NOT TO PROCEED TILL INSURANCE IS DECLARED. i made a purchase from this vendor and they took my money and never sent the package.. i've contacted them million times, they blocked me on whatsapp and never responded to the emails..beware of this site its a scam!
