Do not buy!

Company never sent confirmation for the order so I canceled. To my surprise the item arrived today and they are taking no responsibility. Per response from the company they suposibly donate to, they have no record of any relationship and were happy I brought this to their attention.

Review for Dog Tag

The reviews did make me double-take buying from the foggy dog. While I am unaware of their other products, I'm very glad I gave them a chance the dog tags are beautiful. The pet tag keeper is also really convenient with swapping from collar to harness. if you're wondering size-wise, and your dog is somewhere near German Pointer height I'd start going for large. Also was surprised in regard to the back labels that despite the dashes in the format, when I put my friend's name for the top one they just used regular spaces and even punctuated the middle initial. Thought that was very considerate and I definitely recommend their tags if your searching for one.

Very disappointed with Foggy Dog

I bought 2 items from The Foggy Dog. A dog ID tag that came with a cheap ring attachment that fell off in a day or two, losing the rather expensive ID. I also bought a dog bed with a blue & white ticking stripe cover. The zipper on the cover broke within days, and the stitching on the bed came apart on one side—spilling a lot of filling for my puppy to munch on.Buyer beware! The products are stylish but the quality is poor. Very disappointing.

Worth the drama?

This is spot on from AI . The Foggy Dog receives mixed reviews: customers love its stylish, high-quality, American-made designs and eco-friendly approach, but frequently complain about high prices, shipping delays, poor durability (especially buckles/clasps), limited sizes, and sometimes unresponsive customer service, with some finding patterns don't match photos on smaller items. Common complaints mention clasps failing on strong pullers, scratchy materials on beds, and issues with bow tie

I wish I would have read these reviews…

I wish I would have read these reviews instead of relying on their websites 4,000 5-Star reviews. Our dog’s collar was beautiful but is horrible quality. Has completely fallen apart. I tried posting a truthful review on their site. I will try to post a photo here. Don’t buy from them.

After reading most of the negative…

After reading most of the negative reviews regarding The Foggy Dog, I came to the conclusion that only people with complaints respond to reviews. I have ordered many many collars, bows, bandanas, toys and leashes ( my Labrador has a great wardrobe ) and have never ever been disappointed!! Stella recognizes the Foggy Dog package and is always excited to see what is inside!! She looks adorable in everything and everyone asks where she gets her “outfits”. Welove the Foggy Dog and recommend her to everyone who loves their pup!!

Customer Service- Amaaazing.

Spoke with Vanessa on the customer service team. She was beyond helpful, informative, and nice. Quality customer service goes a long way. I've also previously purchased from this company and the quality is there too.

POOR QUALITY HIGH PRICE

The cost of the dogbed was 200 dollars...minimal cushion, cheap material..I received this bed as a gift..My mother and I could not believe how poor the material used. Hard thin and scratchy to the touch, His old bed 40 bucks at homegoods is better made..The dogs name on it , a patch glued on. I awaiting the arrival of dog tags...not expecting much...

Great Company with the Best Customer Service

I just had my first experience with the Foggy Dog company. And because of Vanessa’s great customer service, she made my day! She also made my pup, Sachiko’s day (although Sachiko doesn’t know it yet). So what made shopping at The Foggy Dog so great? Certainly the products caught my attention. Sachiko is getting a gorgeous personalized sweater to keep her warm in Michigan’s winter weather and she’ll also be very fashionable. (Silly humans). Then I came across the beds! Great selections. The discount code during this season was a huge bonus! So I purchased a personalized bed for her, too. What made the purchase seamless, was the outstanding customer service by Vanessa. Currently the customer service is via email. I had questions and Vanessa was prompt with each response and always with a friendly and professional manner. Couldn’t have asked for better service! I also love the fact that this company supports and feeds shelter dogs! They have good values and I respect that. In the future, I plan on being a returning customer. Thanks again, Vanessa for helping me complete my purchases with ease.

Think twice about ordering from them

I paid priority shipping and the item does not arrive until a week later after I no longer needed it. Customer service was unhelpful and told me I would get a refund but not for the shipping I paid for. They also were quick to blame it being a holiday on Tuesday but even if it shipped after the holiday it still would have arrived by Saturday, not the following Monday when it did. When I go to return it I am now being charged an extra $5 for processing fee. So the original $45 ($10 for shipping) I paid I will only be getting a little over half back. I would highly consider purchasing from them if you think you may need to return something. This was my first time ordering from them and I have never been so disappointed with a company and their customer service. Will not be ordering from them again. If you’re looking for a company that has great customer service, delivers on time/makes it right, and has excellent quality I’d order from Lucy & Co!!

Some issues with truthfulness from the…

Some issues with truthfulness from the owner I said that I had a reactive, 80 pound dog when I ordered leash and collar. The collar is 1/2 inch and not so steady. I paid for my order and asked the owner again about the steadiness of the collar. It took her awhile to get back to me but she did nothing to help. I have used the collar once and will donate it. The business looks good but it is completely deceiving. Beware if you own a large dog.

I am very disappointed with my order…

I I am very disappointed with my order from foggy dog. I ordered a personalized collar for my miniature poodle when it came in it was one size smaller than what I ordered and the personalization was so small and so light that you couldn’t read it except in a certain light the idea of having a personalized collar is so if somebody picks up your dog, they can call you but if they can’t see it, they can’t call. Of course you can’t return it because it’s personalized, but I can say this will be my last purchase from this company.

Falsely advertised, cheaply made product with surprisingly terrible customer service.

Falsely advertised, cheaply made product with surprisingly terrible customer service. I am a first time customer - I ordered the Mushroom Stripe Cover which is advertised as 100% polyester in Materials (also listed as cotton/linen in the description which I did not originally see, but also incorrect). Many places on the website mention items made in the USA, including a specific question asking about the origin of the dog covers in the reviews - the customer service rep replied they are made in the USA. When I received the cover it is 100% cotton, extremely thin, and made in China. I messaged support immediately asking what the material is just to be sure, and where it is made. I received a message back stating "the info is on the website" it is 100% polyester, and then some vague statements about where other items are made and nothing specific about this cover. I replied asking for a pre-paid return shipping label because the cover is not as advertised, mainly that it is 100% cotton. A few days go by without a response so I message on the website again and receive what I can only describe as a trite response telling me I can return the item (I know I can, but I am not going to pay for it), and that support hours are M-F and I will quote here 'Was that not clear on the website or bounce back' Who talks like this? Anyway, I reply AGAIN asking for a pre-paid label since the item is not as advertised. No response. I try messaging again directly on the website since I am assuming they use a CX product that tracks response times from the website, but not ongoing issues via email - and I am blocked from submitting another request. For grace I let a couple of days go by and email the rep again stating I would like to return this product, but if I don't receive a label then I will be forced to dispute the entire transaction (including rush shipping) with my credit card. Still no response. Reading other reviews it seems this company has a systemic issue with customer support and it seems that one person is the main character in many of these reviews. Also I highly doubt the positive reviews of this product on their website are real, anyone who has a dog knows that this cover would not last two days before being shredded by normal paws. I am posting this as a warning to other potential customers - no response necessary from Foggy Dog as the time to fix my issue is long past.

Cute Design, But Serious Safety Issue

I purchased the Harness Walk Set. The design is absolutely adorable, but on the third day of use, the clasp suddenly came off during our walk and my dog ran loose.Thankfully, I was able to catch her quickly, but it was a terrifying experience — I can’t stop thinking about what could have happened if there had been a car or another danger nearby.I’m writing this because I don’t want any other dog owners to go through the same thing.Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this product. The harness itself also doesn’t hold the body securely; it tends to shift to the side while walking, which makes it feel unstable. For the price, the functionality and safety are really disappointing.I contacted customer service as well, but it’s been four days and I haven’t received any response.

I wish I would have looked at reviews…

I wish I would have looked at reviews before ordering from this place. It's been a week and I've heard ZERO about my order for 1 small personalized dog collar. Most placed that do engraving can do them same day, so the 3-5 day wait time is excessive and the shipping time of 10+ days is even more excessive especially considering they are CA based, not coming from China. I ordered something from China, it would be here in a week and cost 1/4 of what I paid, which was over $55 for a small dog collar! I requested to cancel my order and received a blanket message that I won't receive a response for 24-48 hours.....I would have to agree, not worth the money, the wait and the customer service is lousy. But they do somehow seem to find the time to send me a ton of emails for advertising!!!!

Lost in the Fog of Bad Sizing Advice and Worse Customer Service

I really wanted to love The Foggy Dog. Their branding is beautiful, the products look premium, and I was excited to support a boutique pet brand. But unfortunately, my experience was all style and no substance.I followed their sizing guide exactly — including the advice to leave two fingers of space when measuring my dog’s neck — and ordered a Medium. What arrived was a collar so loose my dog could easily slip out of it, even when adjusted to the tightest setting. Not ideal for something meant to keep your dog safe.I reached out to customer service hoping for a simple exchange or solution. Instead, I got multiple responses from Vanessa, who informed me that the collar “met their manufacturing tolerances” and that the sizing guidance was just that — a guideline. Despite following their instructions to a T, I was left with zero accountability, zero refund, and a 20% off code for a second collar that may or may not fit.At the end of the day, I paid $50 for a collar that doesn’t fit, a support team that won’t help, and sizing advice that led me straight to the wrong product.Cute products? Sure. But if you actually want something functional — or a company that stands behind its guidance — shop elsewhere.

One collar broke instantly

We ordered 3 collars and the largest one for our 22 lb bichoodle, the runner, broke instantly. Made out of amalgam, like solder type metal. I nearly passed out trying to grab him and had a full hour of surprise excercise and he nearly got hit by a car TWICE. Not happy, informed them and ZERO response. Avoid. The medium and small collars are still intact but those pups don’t pull and aren’t as strong, but either way it makes me nervous.

The FAULTY Dog - NOISY Dog Collars

The Foggy Dog boasts, in one of its video advertisements that their collars are "100% jingle-free collars," which is exactly what I was looking for. I ordered one for each of my dogs, and when they arrived, one was perfect. The other, the "luxe buckle" rattles/"jingles" with every move my dog makes. I messaged the company and their comment back to me was that, "We do strive to make our collars as “jingle” free as possible, but due to the metal and buckle style we use, some slight noise can still occur. Our signature gold hardware is designed to be both stylish and functional, but I completely understand your concern about the buckle’s noise." They were not willing to offer an exchange/replacement. Faulty advertising on a $35.00/each dog collar AND not standing by their "100% jingle-free" product is absolutely ridiculous! I would not recommend The Foggy Dog collars to anyone! Look elsewhere for better quality, better customer service and more than likely, much cheaper.

Integrity is appreciated!

I purchased a leash from Foggy Dog almost three and a half years ago. I and my dog loved the leash -- just the right weight, length, and tension to let us know what each other is doing and thinking during our walks. Unfortunately, the leash's clasp broke a couple of weeks ago. But, even after more than three years of use, Foggy Dog replaced the leash for us, free of charge. Integrity is appreciated!

My dog’s collar broke after we came home from our walk. Thank god it didn’t break during our walk!! I would advise you to stay far away from their collars!
