Initially good now horrible
On October 2, 2025, I was informed that my committee chair and committee would be changing. For DHS700 and DHS701 I was working with one chair and I get an email all of a sudden before DHS702 that my chair would be changing. The email also stated, " I understand that changes to a chair can feel disruptive. Please let me know if there is anything I can do for you during this time of transition." I immediately responded, " Yes, this does feel very disruptive as I am still waiting on the AR1 review. Can someone schedule a meeting with me that this won't affect my timeline for completion." I met with the program chair who, apologize for assigning me the wrong chair in the first place because the chair that I had was a PsyD and I needed to have a PhD chair. I ask how that would affect me because my chair and I were working together constantly to get things together and gave me great guidance with every step. He assured me that I would get the same thing and that I was ahead and my timeline wouldn't be affected.This is all while waiting for AR1. Once the second request for revisions (with new things to fix not mentioned in the initial request for revisions) came through the new chair email me to make the updates. I updated and resubmitted. Then a third request for request for revisions came (also with new things that were not asked in the first or second request). I updated and resubmitted. Then a fourth request for revisions came (also with some new things that were not asked on the first, second, or third request). I then emailed my program chair and asked for a meeting because the requests were getting ridiculous and he said that he would send me a zoom meeting and I updated and resubmitted again. The zoom meeting was never sent to me; I then received an email that AR1 was approved the next day. Once that was approved, I submitted to IRB. IRB approval was quicker than AR1, I received it back in about a week. I started collecting data and then started formulating my results, conclusion, and recommendations. I then submitted to my chair for review. I received an email from the chair to fix some minor things; I updated and resubmitted the very next day. My chair was good with the submission, and he submitted to my committee member. The committed member had quite a bit of asks and clarification, but I updated and resubmitted after a few days and asked if any clarification was needed that please schedule a meeting with me. I received and email from my chair that committee member approves. I was asked to clean it up, remove track changes, remove comments, and resubmit. I updated and resubmitted the very next day on Dec 19th. On Dec 21, 2025, I emailed both the program chair and my committee chair on my status asking if I would need to enroll in another term because I was supposed to defend this term and that my aid only covered this term and not another term. I then sent a follow-up Dec 27th. My program chair emailed me Dec 29th that my document would be submitted that night, and today Dec 30th I received and email that my document was submitted for AR2. I still do not know if I will be defending, with all of the emailing back and forth, I still have not actually met with my new chair since the change, only emails back and forth. I'm not getting answers, I am frustrated that I had the perfect chair and was she removed from me and now I feel like stuck, my Trident experience was awesome up until October 2nd. My path to graduation was supposed to be completed this term and I'm still in the dark as to what i need to do. I submitted a grievance and it was denied AND I STILL HAVE NOT HAD ONE MEETING WITH THE NEW CHAIR!! They are all about billing you. Steps taken to resolve informallyI've tried communicating with everyone and asking for meetings and I'm getting nowhere and no guidance like what I had.

My experience with Trident University was flexible and convenient, especially with the fully online setup. The courses were well-structured, and the support team was helpful whenever I had questions. It worked well for balancing school with other responsibilities.

Trident University has been an awesome experience. The curriculum is informative and challenging; however, the professors work with us to get things done. I'm glad to have selected this institution to provide the education fostering a better path for my career.

I was very pleased with my experience…
I was very pleased with my experience with Trident University. The staff/instructors were very helpful. At age 60 receiving a Bachelor of Science in Health Science/Magna Cun Laube was achieved due to the wonderful staff an instructors at Trident University and the way the online program is setup. I would recommend Trident University to anyone with an interest in achieving higher education.

Awesome online MHA experience
I had such a great student advisors that guided throughout. The school curriculum is very organized. The overall online education was great, easy to use and you get feedback from the teachers in a timely manner.Thank you TUI I am now an MHA Graduate.

The online experience was great
The online experience was great. As an older student and Navy Veteran. My work experience and discipline helped me focus on my online studies. My graduation in 2018 allowed me to come to Cypress, California for the first time and meet the faculty and beautiful state of California. Strongly considering completing my DBA at Trident.

Dream come true!
Trident University helped me reach my educational goal while still continue to work full time. Is Military friendly and understanding of the schedule and military requirements. I am the first in my family to receive a college degree and I could not have done it with without the persistence of the councelor and their continued support!

I had a great experience at Trident
I had a great experience at Trident. I earned my MS in Leadership and feel that the education was very good. I enjoyed that I didn’t have to pay for out of date text books written by a professor during the Bush administration. All learning was from current readings from online sources ( not Wikipedia). For the most part the professors were very good and helpful. I am in the process of starting the DBA program with Trident this summer.

Trident and the staff were very accommodating and understanding
Trident and the staff were very encouraging and understanding due to my location. The professors are truly there for their students. There were numerous times that I was able to contact the professors to communicate certain situations I was faced with and they were accommodating in that aspect. I am honored to have been a student of such professional professors that care for their students! Therefore, I am thankful for them and the university.

Trident University has been very SUPPORTIVE
Trident University has been very helpful in me achieving my degree. It was a long journey, but they never gave up and provided the support I needed to move forward, despite the many challenges. The staff, and the professors were all helpful, honest, and always eager to help. Thank you TUI for helping me in this part of my journey!!

From Fantasy to Reality
TUI is a great university that thrives on student success. The faculty and staff members in the Education Department work together to motivate, encourage, and support students throughout their academic journey to ensure goals are met. I've only encountered three negative experiences during my time at this university. However, I've successfully completed two degree programs and recommended several students to enroll. If I ever decided to go back to school, TUI would be my first choice. Thank you TUI Education Department for helping me make my fantasy a reality.
