Their website claims policies are customizable but they aren’t truly. Be default they assign you to a high deductible policy and they have to reach out to someone else to adjust that. Lower deductibles are only available with lower coverage. This isn’t a legitimate insurance policy.
Don't bother. I picked them over another insurance company, Lemonade because I thought customer service would be better. I received a quote for renter's insurance and was ok with the price but I needed help with coverage that wasn't provided or outlined on their PDF/policies. I kindly emailed them two weeks ago to speak to someone to clarify or maybe highlight the line in the documentation where I missed this information.They gave me an automated response then a day later, a canned response asking me to read their documentation and that they're only a "licensed insurance provider" and not an insurer. That was it and no real person ever reached out after even though the email said they would follow up. Don't trust this dumb company with a cute website. Stick with a company that actually KNOWS how this works, been in business for years and lets you talk to a real person. What a stupid waste of time trying to talk to Waffle. So sick of automation.
