Ridiculous refusal to help from Bosch

Ridiculous refusal to help from Bosch. See below:My house was constructed 6 years ago. The builder offered Kitchen Aid appliances. I requested upgrades to Bosch (the entire kitchen, cooktop, refrigerator built-in, oven, microwave, dishwasher, and warming drawer. These were provided by Ferguson (The Woodland/Conroe TX) I paid $18,000 extra for the Bosch appliances.About 2 months ago the refrigerator portion of my unit failed. The Bosch Service Center could not schedule an inspection of my problem until 10 days after the failure. The technician came out and discovered that the problem was a failure of the refrigeration system and quoted $2,200 as a repair cost. I was disappointed as my neighbors with the base model (no upgrade) Kitchen Aid refrigerators have experienced no problems. However, I authorized the repair. It has been over a month, and I have not been contacted by anyone with Bosch service. I have initiated 3 calls to your customer service, inquiring as to the status of the repair. Each call resulted in the same explanation: waiting on parts.It has been a disappointment. Polite communication, but warranty repair took far too long

Bosch accepted a warranty fault on my tumble dryer, but the repair took almost seven weeks due to parts delays and a lack of prioritisation. Communication was prompt and courteous throughout, but there was no urgency despite the appliance being unusable for an extended period. Ultimately resolved, but the warranty repair experience was disappointing.

Do not deal with BOSCH

Ghost company: no phone numbers, no call backs, no email responses, false delivery dates. When the ordered fridge came, was heavily damaged on 2 sides.Run away.

I have no good things to say

I was in contact with Bosch for two months to fix my washing machine and I had nothing but bad customer service. When they kept cancelling on me, I contacted a local repair company and had the same problem fixed in 5 days.First, Bosch came with a defective part. Then they cancelled on me three times saying they didn't have the part and didn't let me know until the day of the appointment, after I had already taken time off work. Complete mismanagement from top to bottom.

I was ignored by Customer service

rang service area to get a service on my old Bosch cooktop. I was asked for my model number, I gave it to them and they argued with me that the model number was incorrect, it wasn't. I sent a photo of their model number, as I was asked, still disbelief.This is the worst customer service from a company that I have ever been a part of

I bought a Bosch dishwasher SMV25EX00E (EcoSilence) because of the brand’s reputation and the expectation of quality and durability. Unfortunately, after only 2 years and 1 month of use, the electronics completely failed.I contacted Bosch Croatia – they told me by phone that the warranty had expired and that “nothing can be done.” Only after insisting did I receive a short written reply, without any real solution. I also contacted Bosch Germany – I only received a confirmation that my email was received, but weeks later there is still no actual response or assistance.The result: I have been without a dishwasher for almost five months, with no meaningful support from the manufacturer.I understand that the legal warranty is 2 years, but a major electronics failure immediately after that period, combined with this level of customer support, is unacceptable for a brand that presents itself as premium and reliable.This experience has seriously damaged my trust in Bosch, and I would think twice before buying their products again.

BLACK MOLD

We have had a Bosch series 500 dishwasher for 8 years and love it. Last year it stopped doing the time delay which was annoying and we did not fix that. Last week it started to make a loud clunking noise as soon as it was turned on, even before water entered. With those two problems we decided to just replace it with a new 500 series. BIG MISTAKE. First thing we noticed was the tiny cutlery basket, half the size of the old one so I replaced it with the old one. The .5hr Express wash has been replaced by the 1.75hr Speed60 wash. The inside of the washer looked dirty when we loaded it for the first time but after the wash cycle it still looked dirty. The dirt was BLACK MOLD!!! We carefully unloaded it and did a full sanitize cycle but the mold is still there. The local dealer says this is normal and we should just clean it off. I'm taking the racks out of our old dishwasher and installing in the new one.

Took delivery of a new unusable Bosch range

Took delivery of a new Bosch range. Control panel has an issue and continuously tries to start the oven, it was successful multiple times. Replacement part will take 3 weeks. Thought I was buying quality... what a piece of crap. Warming drawer slides broken as well..cannot leave plugged in or use really for fear of the broiler starting in the middle of the night.

Bosch Dryer Washing Machine

I am extremely disappointed with my experience with the Bosch dryer/washing machine and, more importantly, their after-sales service in India. In my 50 years of dealing with various appliance brands, I have never come across service as frustrating and unhelpful as this.From the moment I reported an issue, it felt like I became a football being kicked back and forth between customer care and the area service engineer. Neither side seemed interested in taking ownership of the problem, and every call ended with new excuses instead of solutions. Weeks passed, and the issue still remained unresolved.If you are planning to buy a Bosch product, make sure you already have an alternative machine at home, because relying on their service team is almost impossible. Their follow-up is terrible, and the attitude gives the impression that customer problems are not taken seriously at all.This has been one of the worst service experiences of my life, and I strongly urge buyers to think carefully about the after-sales service before spending so much money on Bosch India appliances.Be aware, be cautious, and prioritize brands that actually stand by their customers after the sale.

I bought a Bosch dishwasher (model SMS6ZDW48G/38) at the end of November 2023 and it has been nothing but trouble from the start. The fittings constantly fall apart, the cleaning performance is poor, and recently it developed a complete failure with an error code — all while still under two years old.What has shocked me most is the level of disruption required just to attempt a repair. The engineer had to completely dismantle the appliance inside my kitchen, leaving it out of use and putting my brand-new flooring at risk. I had to take days off work to accommodate the visits, as they only offer all-day appointments with minimal notice.After over two hours of dismantling, the dishwasher was still faulty and showing the exact same error. I am now being faced with another all day appointment for repair, as they only offer a repair warranty, not a replacement, meaning even more lost income, more disruption and more dismantling — for a premium appliance that should not be failing like this in the first place.For a brand that markets itself on quality and reliability, this experience has been extremely disappointing. I expected much better from Bosch.I now have a less-than-two-year-old dishwasher that still doesn’t work, multiple days of lost work, and no resolution in sight. Very poor experience overall.

Pretty-looking garbage

Bought a refrigerator in July, stopped working in November. I expected so much more from this brand, which obviously has offshored its manufacturing to low quality jurisdictions. We now have to wait for two weeks for a warranty repair part to arrive

If I could choose a -100 I would. I bought a Vero Café 800 series fully automatic coffee machine in July. Malfunctions within the first two weeks. Ignored, ignored, ignored- multiple emails and phone calls. They provided incorrect phone numbers. How low can you go. I ordered directly from the Bosch website. Proof of purchase. Confirmation of order. Confirmation of money withdrawn from my credit card. Bill of lading upon receipt of the unit. They were acting all accusatory that I didn’t legitimately purchase the unit because I didn’t have a physical printed receipt of purchased. I had to file with the BBB to get a reaction from them. Suddenly, all nice and prompt, assuring me that my unit was suddenly miraculously repaired and on its way back and also providing me a complementary descaling kit For my inconvenience which I was assured on the telephone was being sent by Purolator. Once they were satisfied I relaxed to my complaint with the BBB they advised that the descaling kit was suddenly back ordered and would not be available till “sometime in December”. There was no word on when my repaired unit was going to arrive. They assured me that they were going to send it out by Purolator, but of course they again ghosted me so I filed a second complaint with the Better Business Bureau advising what they were up to now. Suddenly the repaired unit itself did arrive. I unboxed it to find out it had one layer of tornused bubble wrap placed loosely only over the top of the unit which was placed in the box on its side. Upon setting up the machine and excitedly, anticipating having a fabulous coffee after almost 4 months, as soon as I set it up, a part fell out of the machine and dangled. After a restrained polite call, the representative named Sam assured me that an exchange would be made promptly. All I had to do was provide a screenshot of the dangling part on the unit to the email she was going to send immediately. She sent the email and I promptly responded with the photograph. A day or two later another representative emailed stating that they were going to send “my request” to some other branch of the company who will then determine what to do and contact me with their decision. Well, I’m a little bit furious at this time so I lodged my third complaint with the Better Business Bureau. It is now past the middle of November and I have had no use or enjoyment of my machine, Bosch has had my $2199 (as well as the broken machine off and on) since July. Now I have the broken machine sitting in the box in my basement waiting for instructions. I don’t understand how this company is in existence.

Janine was super helpful and friendly and keep me updated throughout. Bosch has always come through whenever I needed and I cannot fault it. All our appliances are either Bosch or Simenens

If a customer contacts you with some problem.they don't have any basic courtesy to respond. Even after repeated calls and reminders, no one showed up for the repair. It's been a month and more, there is still no one to respond. How can we and why should we backup for a longer time? Isn't it your responsibility to satisfy your customers? Absolutely disappointed with ur unethical and lethargic response towards your customer.

The NZ customer service team could not be more unhelpful if they tried. Complete waste of time trying to engage with them. Would have bought a different brand if I knew how bad the customer support was going to be.

I was using Bosch for very long years…

I was using Bosch for very long years and products were always lasting good. 2 years ago I replaced Washingmachine and dryer with new ones top of the line and paid 2500euros. Since then both machines making whining noises and called service 3 times they tried fixing replacing part but no solution. I am about to give up on Bosch and I do not think I will buy any Bosch product anymore. They became low quality products like cheaper brands under Bosch brand nothign more.

Premium Price, Zero Customer Care

I am extremely disappointed with Bosch’s service department. My husband bought me a $2,500 Bosch coffee machine in July as a birthday gift. Less than two months later, it broke completely.When I contacted Bosch customer service, I was told I had to ship it back for repair and that the turnaround time would be two to three weeks. I asked if I was just expected to be without my coffee machine that long, and the representative replied, “Hopefully you have Starbucks nearby!”That comment was dismissive and completely unacceptable. For a premium brand like Bosch, I expected professional and respectful service—not sarcasm and indifference. I am very disappointed and will never purchase another Bosch appliance again. Bosch needs to take customer experience seriously, especially when customers invest thousands of dollars in their products.

Refusing to refund installation

I ordered a dishwasher from BOSCH and paid for the installation service. On the day of delivery the employee refused to connect the dishwasher as he said he would have to drill into our under-sink cupboard and that was against the company policy.We were surprised to hear that because we previously had a dishwasher at the very same spot and no drilling was required. Anyway, the employee apologised, said that we would be refunded for the service and left. We then connected the dishwasher straight away without any difficulty (or drilling) ourselves and logically asked for the installation refund. However, BOSCH refused to refund us the 12.5£ as it claims it's our fault.Regardless of whether it is or not, the customer service level is astonishing. Keeping petty amounts of money for work you have not done (especially when it was perfectly possible) left very poor impression of the company and I won't be purchasing any BOSCH appliance ever again.

If I could give no stars I would

If I could give no stars I would. We purchased A Bosch heat pump clothes dryer. It failed to remove the water from the clothes. We paid a technician specialising in Bosch products to look at the machine and were told there was a compressor failure which is not fixable and to contact Bosch Customer Service. We paid $199 for the initial technician only to be told by Bosch that they require to send their own technician for an additional $200 BEFORE they would comment on if they would honour their product.If you want a Clothes dryer that will last 2 years and then you have to throw it away, Bosch is for you. Look elsewhere.
