Cuisinart DCC-3500 poor quality, only worked for about 3 months.

I purchased a new Cuisinart DCC-3500 coffee maker from a department store. Worked great for about 3 months. Then it didn't... A complete waste of money - total Crap. They used to be some of the best on the market, but apparently Cuisinart doesn't produce the quality products they once did. ...sad

I would rank this negative if I could

I would rank this negative if I could. We received a Cuisinart air fryer/toaster oven as a gift a few month ago. It already broke - the knob stopped turning. I contacted the company and received a form letter that I would hear back in 1-2 business days. Three days later, nothing. So I sent a follow-up note, very polite. Still nothing. I'll invest my dollars elsewhere from now on.

Horrible website service

Horrible website service. I placed an order, and there was no prompt asking where it was to be delivered. When I received the receipt, it had my old address in a different state. I emailed them asking to change it and they said they couldn't change anything on an online order. I then called them and they said the same thing. They told me that once I received a tracking number, I could change it with the carrier. After 3 days, I finally prompted them for my tracking number, and when I tried to change it on UPS's website - they wanted to charge me $50! I called back asking to cancel the entire order and they said they couldn't - even though the product had yet to be picked up from the warehouse. THIS IS WHY I ORDER FROM AMAZON!!!!! Ridiculous. Because of this, I will never order Cuisinart products again. (Not to mention, look at how many awful reviews there are!!!!)

Poor quality products and no after sales customer service

I bought an ice cream machine (under 5 year warranty) and the lid broke within a couple of months - emailed customer services and was told there were none in stock but that they would contact me and send one out when they were back in stock. That was 5 years ago. I have contacted them several times and have literally just been ignored. The quality of the products is not up to scratch and neither is the after sales customer service, I'd never buy another product from them

REPLACEMENT COFFEE POT WAS BAD OUT OF THE BOX

I RECEIVED A NEW COFFEE POT UNDER WARRANTY TO REPLACE A DEFECTIVE PREVIOUS MODEL, WHICH WENT BAD AFTER 2+ YEARS. WE WERE HAPPY TO RECEIVE THE NEW POT, EXCEPT IT STARTED LEAKING WATER OUT THE BOTTOM ALMOST IMMEDIATELY. CUISINART CUSTOMER SERVICE ESSENTIALLY SAID TOO BAD SINCE THE WARRANTY ON THE FIRST POT HAD RUN OUT. NO REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT WOULD BE FORTHCOMING. LOUSY ARRANGEMENT TO NOT WARRANT A BRAND NEW POT FOR EVEN A FEW WEEKS. WE ASSUMED THAT THE NEW POT WOULD HAVE AT LEAST A LITTLE WARRANTY. WE DID NOT KNOW THE NEW POT'S COVERANGE WAS ONLY AS LONG AS THE ORIGINAL POT'S. WE WON'T BE BUYING ANY MORE CUISINART SMALL APPLIANCES - EVER.

Zero Star review

I would love a “Zero” star option but 1 will do. Order #8900491194I ordered two whisks for my Cuisinart stand mixer on December 30 (Order #8900491194). The parts never arrived. When I contacted customer service on January 12 to check the status, I was told the order had never been shipped. Since I needed these parts urgently for our business, I requested to cancel the order. I was then told that Cuisinart “doesn’t cancel orders,” despite the fact that nothing had shipped. What makes this worse is that my credit card was charged on January 12 — the same day I called — and only then did they ship the parts, after I had clearly asked to cancel.Delaying fulfillment, charging weeks after the order was placed, and refusing to cancel an unshipped order shows a serious lack of customer service and internal controls. This experience has completely turned me off from ordering directly from Cuisinart.I will not be ordering from them again and am switching to KitchenAid, where parts availability and customer support are far better—especially for business use.Detroit, MI

I ordered a replacement part for my…

I ordered a replacement part for my food processor after a piece broke off and I could not get it to work. But after I ordered the replacement part-10 minutes later-I was able to get the processor to turn on. I immediately called to cancel the order and customer service says "once order is placed -you cannot cancel"! They said when the UPS driver comes refuse to take it-well if your not home or miss them you are responsible for the shipping costs back. What! So I just sent the part back for reimbursement $105 a shipping charge of $52. This is totally unacceptable with todays computerization!NS -NJ jan 2026

MDK Review of Cuisinart CMW-70 Microwave Oven

This unit is outstanding. It has superior design aspects and functionality that make it a joy to use. The unit is so quiet when it is in use that I can’t hear it from another room and can hardly hear it when I am in my kitchen. With most microwaves you have to push the door open button to get the door to open but this unit has an actual handle with the door open button in the top end of the grip handle. The control panel has clearly marked functions and an excellent roster of auto cook settings for popular foods such as pizza, potato’s, and popcorn. The number pad has minute settings for 1 to 6 minutes of cooking time with power level automatically set to 100% and 30 second intervals of additional time can be added by pressing the “Start+30Sec” button as needed.Considerations of brevity preclude a full explanation of each feature but the excellent owners manual fully explains all of them and has cooking guides for several popular foods and specific ones too, such as meat and poultry as well as fish and seafood, and has some tasty recipes, such as Teriyaki Salmon with Garlic Spinach, as well.So do yourself a favor and get one of these units that so artfully combines aesthetically appealing design with the convenience of high precision functionality, you’ll be super glad that you did.

I ordered a coffee pot and entered…

I ordered a coffee pot and entered shipping address somehow it picked up an old mailing address. I tried to correct immediately and Cuisinart stayed I would have to wait for the tracking information once shipped ( not shipped yet) and contact UPS and try and have them change the address they haven't ship I called customer service immediately. I got into my account and could not edit it. So now if ups doesn't redirect someone will receive a $150 coffee pot. There should be a way to correct within minutes. The shipping details were confirmed and the order before placed requested verification on apt number. Cuisinart needs a better way to correct orders if not shipped yet.

The coffee maker I bought for a gift…

The coffee maker I bought for a gift did not fit under the cabinets that they had. (apparently their cabinets are not standard height) I tried to return it, it was a Christmas gift, and was told they had to ask a superviser to be able to return it past 30 days. Again, it was a gift and wouldn't be opened until Christmas. Now I have to return it via UPS or Fed EX. It is $84 to send it back! Half the cost of the coffee maker! Cuisinart does NOT make it easy on the customer! Now wonder we all use Amazon, Walmart and Target! Easy returns. I won't be buying from them again!!!

Kettle broke down within 12 months

Kettle broke down within 12 months. Expected a fairly good customer service experience but very wrong. As others have said, there is no support! I am forwarding the same email every working day. Certainly wasting my time...Buy other brands. Even Supermarket's own brands are probably better reliability and support than these.

What Happened to Cuisinart…

I'm not sure what has happened to Cuisinart(Conair) as we used to have great service and reliable appliances. Two out of the last three Cuisinart products we bought were great. But our latest encounter was enough for us to steer clear of them in future. On November 29th I placed an order for a food processor with Cuisinart, and received a confirmation of the order by email. On December 3rd I called and after multiple attempts at a callback (I tried holding but I had to push 2 on the phone every 30 seconds or they hung up) I asked about the status of the order. To my amazement the support person apologized, the unit was out of stock, the computer must have glitched (as a retired IT manager I know if a system didn't update their data immediately when they were sold out, someone should be fired). Her suggestion was to give me the unit number and I could Google it to find out if any other retailer sold it. Of course I had ordered a Black Friday special and by Dec 3rd all sellers were back to the 'regular' price. After my initial order I searched for a manual, and a link to Amazon came up with a Cyber Monday special- at $80 less than Cuisinart - if I had know this on Nov 29th I could have ordered from them.Regardless, I told the support person their suggestion to google other sellers was unacceptable, I wanted a better unit with the same discounts. So they offered an anniversary model (which was priced $10 more) at the same price, which I agreed to.It then took until December 8th before it was shipped, by mail! Delivery is expected December 15th, but the postal service may pull their favourite trick (leave a note saying we had to go to a postal unit the next day to pick it up - which happens 4 out of 5 times). UPDATE: As I suspected Canada Post used their pony express service, so today, Dec 16th, I get a notice to pick it up at a depot. In other words, it wasn't delivered. If only I had gone to Amazon first I would have had the unit I wanted on Dec. 3rd for $80 less.My recommendation is to avoid buying Cuisinart, but if you must, never order if directly from Cuisinart, they literally have NO customer service.

Terrible customer service for product warranty

Based on my current warranty experience with Cuisinart, I would never buy another Cuisinart or Conair product again. I purchased a coffee maker on April 11, 2025. The coffee maker completely stopped working on October 1st, 2025 and I contacted Cuisinart on October 2nd, 2025. Through a couple of email interactions with customer service, I complied with the service agent's request to provide the required information. I noticed that Cuisinart outsourced their customer service to Conair. The last email from Cuisinart / Conair on October 3rd, 2025 advised me to "avoid sending multiple messages as this will increase your wait time". Almost two and one half months later, there has been zero updates from Cuisinart / Conair. Meanwhile the warranty clock is ticking down.

Worst customer service message system ever!

Tried to use Customer Service to ask about the recipes I can use in my new Cuisinart bread maker. I was on hold for over 30 minutes before I gave up. My BIGGEST gripe is that EVERY SINGLE MINUTE the same message cycled through requiring me to press "2" to continue waiting!Worst online service ever!!!

No Support

I thought this was a reputable company I bought their Cuisinart Griddler and I had an issue with it. Originally they handled my issue, I told him I wanted to upgrade and pay the difference Unfortunately they didn't have the product in stock. Once they did have it in stock the price went up from when I was going to purchase it. Anyways reluctantly I paid the full price rather than the sale price. I received the product and it sat in the box for a while because I didn't need it at the time I went away on vacation and then when I came back the grill was chipped. I went to their site and sent out the information that this product this chip months went by and they never responded so two days ago I sent them another message and still no response.

Absolutely a piece of garbage Dcc3500ss coffee maker

Pour-spot/lid delivers more coffee to the kitchen floor than to my mug.Lights don’t remain illuminated, buttons are not smoothly operated.First day, had to listen to for the beep for 1-4 cups setting selection, pressed brew brew, great cup of coffee.2nd day, same thing, however machine shut off after brewing pot even though I had it set for 2 hrs hold

Google Pay overwrote my address

Google Pay overwrote my address. I immediately noticed in the confirmation email. Called. CUISINART WILL NOT EDIT OR CANCEL an order once it is made. Told me I had to wait until it shipped to make changes with UPS. It shipped 2 days later. UPS wanted $48 (more $ than what I bought) to edit the address. UPS will not reject a package online, only at the time of delivery. Gave me a number that if Quisinart would call, they would change the address for free since they issued it. Cuisinart refused to call. Then Cuisinart told me that despite thier best efforts they could no longer make any changes to the order since it had already shipped........

Zero stars-avoid like the plague

I ordered from the actual Cuisinart website. I clicked on Google pay and it immediately confirmed my order without verifying address. The address was an old one, over 10 years old! After contacting customer service through email and over the phone, I was informed that the company policy is to not allow address changes or cancellations! Cancellations! So I am out $70 for an item that is going to be shipped to a house that I haven't lived in for 10 years. This is an absolute terrible policy. I'm disgusted that a company could act so irresponsibly in this day and age. Whatever you do, do not order from this company!

You might pay twice

I have no problem with the product we purchased- a coffee maker. The customer service is the absolute worst. We ordered online and the debt card would not go through. Used PayPal instead and it worked perfectly. Coffee maker was received timely. However, we were charged for the failed debit. So we paid twice. The failed card still shows as a hold on our checking and the $95 is still missing from the account. Its been 3 weeks. The bank says only Cuisinart can fix it. I called 4 times and was assured the problem would be solved by the end of the day. Never happened. Called again and all the supervisors were too busy to talk to me. They would call back. Never happened. I will NEVER order from Cuisinart again. Beware- you might pay twice.
