TERRIBLE!
TERRIBLE!! I have their insurance for my company. If you pay on the day or even a day late due to a weekend, they cancel you immediately. No notice, no nothing. And when the payment DOES come through, they make you pay for the next two months. For small businesses, what a joke. Just because you pay on the day OF, does not mean you are LATE!

Good luck: Slow and no communication
Their insured damaged my home in June 2025. Insured admitted fault. Luckily and thanks in part to my own actions the damage was was relatively minor. Simple case: minor damage, complete admission of fault by insured. Certainly not the biggest or most complicated claim they handle.Mid-September and the mitigation occurred but damage isn’t fixed. Dominique (claims handler/inside adjuster) doesn’t return calls. I’ve called her days in a row at times with nothing back. Her out of office is often on well beyond the time it says she is “out” so who knows. The probably spent more sending their outside adjuster out to my house 3x than they will on the claim. Outside adjuster is nearly as slow. No response to inquiries and it takes a week or more to submit reports. You’ll never know if the claim is approved, stalled, or why. It might be routine stuff, or they may just not be doing anything with your claim. How would you know? They certainly don’t tell you.I only got things moving by calling the general # and complaining and asking for a supervisor.

Poor choice of insurance.
Signing up was great! The lady I spoke with was very informative, polite and helpful. However, after paying monthly for 6 months, they encountered a problem with my bank trying to collect and cancelled my policy, no warning, nothing. What a great way to make money—- take it and run! I do not recommend them at all.

Pathetic company
Pathetic company. Shift claims from one desk to another. After ineffectual communications then weeks turning into months, they drop the claim into their trash container. #SteerClear.(Review on behalf of a claimant). *EMC Should Not be Allowed to Underwrite anywhere in the USA.

Very Positive Experience
I actually had a very positive experience with EMC. My vehicle was struck by someone with their insurance. The representative from the company (Brandon Cox) was very on top of the claim, and incredibly helpful. He prompted me to get the claim processed and made things easy. The claim was paid as soon as I had an estimate from my local repair facility. I was really quite impressed at how professional he was and how much he helped me. I know insurers are under a lot of scrutiny (appropriately) but Brandon at least deserves some credit.

Horrible
Horrible. My child was struck by your client's vehicle back in September 2024 while coming home from school. Now Feb 2025 and STILL NO CORRESPONDENCE. Called the rep in charge EVERY WEEK with ZERO correspondence back. Sent emails, uploaded bills to the indicated email address, made phone calls that led to the rep's voicemail with no call back. Called your 800 number and got directed through your operator saying that the rep is online on Teams but yet doesn't answer the phone.I have no choice but to take legal action. What could have been done in a small payout in a timely manner is now going to cost EMC insurance tens of thousands which will raise the prices on other employers coverages.Totally unprofessional. Unethical. And most likely the review falling on deaf ears.

They are a giant Bully INS CO..
They are a giant Bully INS CO..They cancelled ouy poilicy because of a $7.00 difference in the amount due. They left us without coverage over numerous Projects. We had to find new coverage fast. They are now say we owe them $ 3,000. They are terrible people. Their CS is terrible and the underwriting dept might as well be given last rites.
