SUCKS! I don't recommend!
The second time in under a month that FoodPanda Riders failed to deliver my food! This time the Rider went to a neighboring property development instead of mine. The Rider even gave me a number to call, that's how I knew it's not my building's Management but the neighboring one. It's bad enough that I have to use Google Translate to communicate with the lost Rider, adding to the stress.HelpCenter live agent is even worse than a bot, they are unable to help, just canned replies that pretend to care, insulting the customer even more. EDIT: 23 Feb 2026REFUSED TO ISSUE REFUND FOR FAILURE TO DELIVER MY ORDER. Stupid Help Centre agent offered $25 voucher for a $197 Sharetea they refuse to return. This scam app will take your money but won't provide refund when they fail to do their end of the job. The overwhelming 86% 1 star review is a clear indication FoodPanda and their scam app has no place in a high trust society as Hong Kong. I'm trying Keeta per another reviewer's suggestion.

Yet another crappy experience with HK FoodPanda organisation: placed order (outside of lunch/dinner rush), FP promised items in ~15min, and as always, super-fast to charge my card. Moments later, their app indicated that they lacked riders, and it may take more time.. Approx. 40 minutes later, app was still showing "we're trying to find a rider", so I tried to cancel the order (customer service chat). They refused--I was "told" to just wait and (in effect) shut up. Efforts to get refund afterward met stone wall (documented). Now escalating with card issuer (HSBC) and with gov. Food &Hygiene Dept (FEHD) that regulates food delivery companies. Disappointed that this maddeningly poor service keeps happening.

Missing Food, Awful Support! A Delivery Disaster!
I have enjoyed using FoodPanda for a long time. I pay a monthly subscription for Panda Pro. But constant missing items and only a $3 voucher each time is really annoying. I’m left hungry at the end of my meal and I can’t even order something else with that $3. I’m beginning to wonder if I should try a different delivery service.

I tried to add an item to my order because the app stated you could. The customer service representative told me it couldn't be modified. I then asked to cancel so I could reorder,upon which he told me cancellation is nonrefundable. Would I like to cancel?! Stupid protocol. Stupid rep. You would think that economic downturn would see improvement in services. Stupid me. Welcome to the age of deterioration...

They charged me $534 without authorization. I have no subscription and have not ordered any food. When I confronted them, twice, they said they couldn't find the transaction. But I got the AliPayHK transaction information. Apparently when I installed the app I did give a permission to auto debt when using the app. But the app was deleted months ago because I found many bugs while using it and did not trust it. It's my fault I forgot to delete the permission. But it is not an excuse to just charge without authorization.

This was 100% a technical failure on Foodpanda's end.I immediately contacted customer support, and what followed was an infuriating 20-minute ordeal. Here’s a summary:They Don't Listen: I explained clearly and repeatedly that this was an app error. The support agents completely ignored this crucial fact.Robotic, Scripted Responses: Both agents I spoke with (even after an "escalation" to a senior) just repeated the same line: "We can't make any changes once an order is placed." They were like talking to a broken record, completely unable to apply common sense to a situation caused by their own system's failure.An Insulting 'Solution': Their only suggestion was for me to cancel the entire order and that it would be non-refundable. So, I should lose all my money and get no food because their app broke? It's an absurd and offensive suggestion.Dismissive and Unprofessional: After refusing to help or understand the issue, the agent simply closed the chat on me. No resolution, no apology, no ownership of the problem.This experience shows a complete lack of accountability from Foodpanda. If their system fails and costs you money, they will hide behind rigid policies and offer zero real support. I was forced to pay for items I never wanted due to their technical failure. Worst delivery people and service
Ordered. My order was picked up. Delivery guy walked round in circles. Went to find him. Walked around for 20 minutes until I found him under a bridge with my food. Meanwhile order cancelled due to rider issues. I grabbed my food and walked 20 minutes home an hour after my order had been picked up. The restaurant was actually closer to my address than the delivery person. Foodpanda has no help center or human being that helps or gives a sh*t so unfortunately that’s just what we have to put up with now if you use their service. So don’t use it. If you read this one star them on all review sites. About time this company was buried with the trash it is

I placed a grocery order through Foodpanda HK, but items worth $65—eggs and tofu—were missing from my delivery. I reported the issue, but Foodpanda refused to arrange a re-delivery, claiming they could not reach Wellcome Supermarket by phone. However, when I personally called the supermarket, my call was answered within seconds. Despite this, Foodpanda declined to attempt another call and refused to issue a refund. To make matters worse, their customer service abruptly ended the conversation.
