Committed and reliable customer service

I flew with my family from Sydney to Maui with transit in Honolulu. When arrived at Honolulu, one bag was missing. We claimed the missing bag at our final destination Maui. Hawaiian Airlines took all necessary information and told us that the bag would be delivered in our apartment. Tbh, we had very low faith to get our bag back. I kept receiving automated emails “we keep searching for your luggage” and believed it was lost. Till someone know on the door at 7pm “Hi Sir, here is your bag”. Only 48h later. Amazing! Hawaiian Airlines gained my confidence.I’m from Europe and can tell that this would have taken more than 2 weeks to locate a bag and another week to get it back. Thanks Hawaiian Airlines for committing to get our missing luggage back.

Worst experience I've ever had

This is the worst airline I have ever flown with. Everyone I came in contact with was rude and trying to just get checked in was terrible. Choose ANY other airline if you can

I flew Hawaiian Airlines Flight HA 904…

I flew Hawaiian Airlines Flight HA 904 from Honolulu (HNL) to San Diego (SAN) on January 10 and the experience was extremely disappointing. Hawaiian Airlines charges you just for the option to select a seat, and then charges again for the seat you actually select, which feels like a blatant rip-off. On top of that, the aircraft was outdated, the seats were uncomfortable, and the food was poor quality and absolutely not worth the price. For an airline that markets itself as premium or hospitable, the value simply isn’t there. I would not recommend Hawaiian Airlines.

Scheduled to travel from Seattle to…

I90Scheduled to travel from Seattle to Honolulu on HA 899 at 9:55 AM. It is now 4:30 pm and they have delayed it again till 6 pm. They rescheduled 3 times in one day with no explanation. I have lost a complete day of our family vacation and it is still up in the Air!I will avoid anything operated by this Airline. As I understand, Alaska and Hawaii airlines have merged but the merger has not worked. I hope Akaska operated flights have not suffered by this merger but the reviews tell me they have. I have been flying Alaska for over 20 years. I will switch to Delta or Southwest for any Hawaii flights from now on. Please Do not fly Hawaiian. They are rude and inconsiderate and do not offer much in terms of rebooking or upgrades or future vouchers.

Hawaiian Airlines has gotten bad

Hawaiian Airlines' flight to the destination is great, with TV and two seats, but the flight back was one of the worst experiences. No TV 5 plus hours flight 3 seat I was in the middle of two oversize people I had no room and felt so uncomfortable. What happen why is the way home so bad like why is it more accommodating traveling there but not back especially for longer flights!!! Horrible

Consumer Wallet Raping and Discriminating Business model

edging close to “platinum” tier. Oy, Hawaiian and Alaska work in tandem to deny/shelve onto the other, their responsibilities and promises via paid membership rewards program. A week or so back now, i purchased a one way ticket that equates to 4000+ miles over three flights. Hawaiian always makes you purchase what Alaska promotes and gives for free at the time of booking. As Alaska failed to reserve promised seating. This trip in question was canceled within an hour of original purchase, and rebooked at a cheaper fare. However, at that time. Hawaiian CSR suggested additional seat costs would roll into new flight from the canceled flight. This was untrue. Second CSR from Hawaiian did confirm that first CSR was incorrect. Though the second CSR also gave out incorrect information. CSR suggested that I would get a refund just as I got a refund on Alaska purchase, and that I should wait for the process to take hold. Well, it did not. 3rd attempt of resolution with CSR straight up told me that they were going to keep the money taken but could file for refund. Again, I have flown quite a bit these last few months, since summer. Always the same lackluster production for the hype of how committed these and or this company promotes and promises. Seats are too small for anybody over 5 foot and 120 pounds to seat safely and in a healthy manner for long flight durations over 2 hours with then forcing consumers wallets open for seats that then the funds are withheld as nonrefundable on the power of the person that is handling the request aka truest form of discrimination against some to favor the few policy and history. I have close to 20 years of utilizing Hawaiian airlines as i have been a resident of hawaii county since 2006. Equipment is quite often dirty and filthy. Given the element of prestige which is merely promoted in words and not actions. If you are looking for a company that abuses power in the name of greed. This airline is for you. Otherwise, they no care.

Hawaiian Airlines was my favorite way…

Hawaiian Airlines was my favorite way to go home and visit family and friends on different islands. Their website was super easy to navigate. Since their merge with Alaskan Airlines I’m pretty sure I won’t fly with them in the future. But my last flights were perfect.

I was disappointed in the lack of aloha spirit at Hawaiian air

I was disappointed in my recent travels on Hawaiian Airlines. Hawaii itself was magnificent as always. The airline had poor customer service, disinterested baggage people, high fees for checking in baggage at $40 each. They had only one food choice on a five hour flight, which was a sandwich that had meat and cheese and would not be suitable for everyone. It was not suitable for me. They offer high price snacks. They were really lacking the aloha spirit that Hawaiian Air Airlines was once known for and that the islands continue to exemplify. Disappointed

Avoid Hawaiian at All Costs - Complete Customer Service Nightmare

I am writing this to warn any traveler: avoid Hawaiian Airlines. Since their merger with Alaska, their customer service has completely collapsed, and they treat passengers with zero respect. Our experience was a disaster from start to finish. We had a flight from San Francisco to Oahu, which was an Alaska Airlines flight operated by Hawaiian. They canceled our flight just 12 hours before departure. This is where the customer service black hole began. We called Alaska Airlines. After waiting over 45 minutes, they said we had to talk to Hawaiian Airlines since they were operating the flight. They transferred us to Hawaiian. After another 45+ minute wait, the Hawaiian agent said we had to talk to Alaska, as that was the airline we booked with. After being bounced back and forth, they finally told us, "Oh, you booked through a travel agent, go talk to them."Our poor travel agent then called and got the exact same runaround. Alaska connected her to Hawaiian, and Hawaiian sent her right back to Alaska. After hours of this nonsense, the "solution" they offered was a joke. They told us there were no other flights for the same day or the day after. Our only option was to fly 3 days from our original date.We found available flights on United and Southwest for the same day, but Hawaiian/Alaska refused to book us on a competing airline, which is standard practice for a cancellation that is their fault. In the end, they only agreed to a partial refund. We had to pay an extra $200 out of our own pockets to book a new flight with a stop in Vegas that left at 5 AM. They ruined the start of our vacation and cost us money. Through all of this, not one agent ever said "I'm sorry."The nightmare didn't end there. On our return flight, we were unable to pay for our bags online. The system just said, "See an agent." When we got to the airport, the line to see an agent was already an hour long. Everyone in that line was panicking and on the verge of missing their flight because of Hawaiian's broken system. This company does not care about its customers. They will cancel on you, trap you in a customer service loop where no one takes responsibility, and then make you pay for their mistakes. Avoid them

Good luck if you miss your flight due…

Good luck if you miss your flight due to their airline delays. You be will screwed and stranded on a lonely Hawaiian island with no one to help. No aloha there. Just you spending hiked up prices for a one way ticket back home. Stay away! Pay a little more for Korean air.

Service Below Expectations on a Long-Haul Domestic Flight

I recently traveled on the Las Vegas–Hawaii route (approximately 5 hours and 30 minutes) and found the overall service below expectations. For a flight of this duration, only a single sandwich and one beverage were provided, while any additional snacks and drinks were offered at relatively high prices. The cabin temperature was noticeably cold, which is not unusual, but when requesting a blanket I received inconsistent responses: some crew members stated that none were available, while others mentioned that it could only be purchased. Given that this was not a low-cost carrier, I expected a higher standard of service, more consistent with both the fare paid and the reputation of American carriers.

DO NOT FLY HAWAIIAN

We booked a flight from Maui to Oahu YESTERDAY, and called back to change the reservation because we need to be on Oahu for a business meeting time change. After making the reservation change and paying $20 for each of us, we noticed on the app that the reservation was reverted to the original reservation. So my husband called AGAIN (a total of three times yesterday) to correct the reservation. We wake up this morning, check the app, and the reservation is reverted to the original reservation AGAIN! And our paid-for bulk-head seats were booked by someone else. So, my husband calls reservations again, spending an hour trying to get us on the flight we need. And because the only seats left are first class seats, they want to charge us almost $300! These people are totally inept and unapologetic about their screw up that they expect us to pay for. DO NOT FLY HAWAIIAN!!Update: when we arrived at the airport to catch our flight, they still had us on the old flight! And the flight was full, including the first class seats we paid for, which were resold to other people. Now we have to scramble to get on another flight and reschedule our meeting. Never again!!

Avoid if you have any dietary requirements

If you are flying Hawaiian Airlines on any domestic flight or an international flight to French Polynesia or the Cook Islands then beware!!! They do not offer any catering to dietary requirements, that includes - no catering for celiacs, no catering for lactose free, no catering for vegan or vegetarian, and on and on. I'm currently on a flight from Seattle to Honolulu - I can't eat the snack because I am celiac and no alternative is offered (not even a bag of chips). I have a connecting flight from Honolulu to Rarotonga and have been informed nothing will be available for me on that flight either. Due to the time we are landing in the Cook Islands nothing will be open, so I am going to go 24 hours with no food!! This is genuinely dangerous and I have no idea how the airline can justify this. I have even requested if they could provide a voucher for me to get some food during my brief layover in Honolulu - they've said no to that as well. Genuinely abysmal and I won't be flying with these guys again.

Hawaiian is not a great representative…

Hawaiian is not a great representative of our state. I fly to and from the mainland several times a year. There are exceptions, but the staff are generally indifferent. Nothing is really terrible, but given that they are named after our beautiful state, they should look at other airlines, including international ones, and do better. Live up to your name Hawaiian Airlines.

Buyer Beware

Spoke to a representative today about my tickets for tomorrow. After calling and verifying that we had reserved a bassinet for our infant at least 3 times, I was informed by the representative and their manager that while the bassinet was provided at no cost, I would have to pay for the seat upgrade to use it. This is after 5 months of purchasing the ticket.I've also been told by this airline that their management refuses to speak to me by any other means but email and have been provided vouchers but not allowed to use them on this flight and they expire a year after my tickets were purchased. Extremely poor customer service experience

The best airline I've flown with in America. Nice staff, free Wi-Fi. No flight delays.
