Purchased TV from Ielectrica on Ebay, was working fine for the first 8 months, seems 3K down to drain, TV set manufactured for Canadian market, there's no warranty in the US. Made a big mistake dealing with Ielectrica.
I purchased 65" TV from IElectrica on Ebay on June 18, 2023. I didn't have any issues for a couple months until the screen started displaying an odd pattern in the lower left screen. When I contacted Samsung USA for warranty coverage on the faulty screen, they informed me that the TV I bought from IElectica was a Canadian model that they could not look up in their US system or provide any warranty coverage for (since it was not a US model sold in the US - it was a Canadian model sold in the US). So I contacted Samsung Canada for warranty coverage. They informed me that they could not look it up in their Canadian system or provide any warranty coverage for since it was sold in the US, not Canada. So I called IElectica's customer service to complain about their shady practice of selling grey good TVs whose warranties are worthless. After 2 months and 4 or 5 calls to their perpetually-busy service line and 3 or 4 "we'll call you backs" in which they never called me back, I finally reached a supervisor (Michael) who said they would contact Samsung. That debacle took another 3 months of me continually calling back to get a status. Then after another 4 or 5 calls, he said they were waiting on a new screen from Samsung, and that Samsung was backordered on the screens. It's been almost a year now, and I'm stuck with a $1250 TV that intermittently displays a weird pattern on the screen. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE CROOKS. It's not worth saving $50-$7- on a device with NO WARRANTY.
I ordered a 75" QLED 8K Samsung TV from them. It was a slow delivery. It only lasted 4 months then stopped turning on.... Samsung told me they will not honor the manufacturer warranty as iEectrica is not a recognized reseller. And that the tv they sold me was manufactured specifically for the Canadian market (I live in US). iEectrica eventually told me (after months of communication) that all their TVs come with a one-year CPS warranty and to send them my order number to help start the process. I did that and they never responded to me again... They still will not respond if I reach out to them. How am I supposed to file a claim when they ignore all attempts to contact them?? If you see this company run the other direction. They will literally take your money and then block you and never correspond with you again.
Great A/V CompanyI was suspicious iElectrica because their prices were so much better than anybody else. I am only writing this to calm others who may have the same unsettled feeling. The product is 1st rate, full US warranty and brand new. This is not gray market garbage. The shipping is free. They use a white glove delivery service, probably to limit their own risk of delivery issues. Therefore it does take a bit of time to get the product. Mine TV came 12 days after the order. It was WELL WORTH IT!
I bought a TV through Amazon, which was outsourced to Digital Supplies, Inc., a (subsidiary? partner? alias?) of iElectrica. It was shipped by UPS & arrived with a hole in the carton. I plugged it in and the screen was shattered. This is my second awful experience with buying electronics online this month, but I expected better of Amazon. I thought they vetted these fly-by-night companies better, but apparently not. I would avoid Digital Supplies, Inc. and iElectrica.
Great experience. I had some questions about the TV, and they answered and acknowledged all of my concerns professionally and were very helpful and friendly. TV shipped right on time and the White Glove service from AM Home Delivery was exceptional. Will purchase from here again. Strongly recommend.
great communication great serviceA+++++++++++ Thank you So Much!!!!
I would say the buying process was a tad unconventional but I saved right under $600 on a 75" 8k Samsung QLED tv so im happy. The shipping company brought the TV inside. Opened the box. Plugged the TV in and made sure everything worked before they left which I can appreciate! Would recommend
Great experience it started with receiving the best price to the amazing customer support, being informed every step of the process and delivered item in perfect condition.
What an amazing experience from start to finish. Accidentally purchased the wrong product. They went above and beyond to correct my mistake. Thank you Sean and the team you guys are truly great. You have a customer for life.
iElectrica is one of those Bait And Switch scam companies. They have a ton of extension web-sites, such as AVDudes, that carry the same products at different prices. You contact them ahead of time to avoid wasting time, they swear on their mothers that the price you see is the price you will get and that no, God no, they are not there to upsell you.5 days have passed, during which customer service has been promising me that the TV would ship, and... you guessed it. It was never shipped and the order was cancelled because they could not upsell me.The only real prices they have are on eBay because eBay will close their store quickly if they throw shenanigans like this. But their eBay prices are hundreds upon hundreds of dollars higher, the real prices they want for the products, and not the funny ones on their web-sites.AVOID at all costs!
Please stay away, they're selling refurbish n defective Canadian tv
Looks like the 5 star reviews are paid or employees. No one would give 5 star. 4star may be trustable.
Seller wasted my time. After spending an entire morning researching and deciding on them, they wrote back days later saying they couldn't ship it to me. And I couldn't get a refund for the protection plan I bought, even though they cancelled the TV purchase. Then they told eBay that I cancelled it, so I can't even leave feedback there. Giant waste of my time and terrible customer service.
I am absolutely disgusted and highly disappointed in this companies customer service skills. I myself am in the customer service industry. There is a huge difference between good customer service and extremely poor customer service, this company iElectrica is the bottom of the barrel. My husband and I purchased a Samsung QN75QN90AA 75 Inch Neo QLED 4K Smart TV (2021) for our brand-new house and spent $2,195.00. We then also paid another $199 on warranty insurance for the delivery. They then talked us into a 3 year warranty package for another $399.00. When the TV arrived the box looked perfectly fine, so it sat for a couple weeks undamaged until we moved into our new home. 100% still undamaged! We finally unboxed the TV and the screen was broken in multiple places. I immediately called the iElictrica and they instantly started giving me the runaround. I was told they would put a claim in with the delivery company which was then denied. I then made a phone call to the TV he’s warranty department and they told me that they would not cover it. I then spoke to Micheal and iElectrica’s customer service department he said he would place a claim in with another warranty company. I was told this could take up to 90 days. The first phone call was 3/09/2022, I was told I needed to email photos, which I did. My email is dated 3/10/2022, didn’t hear anything back so I called on 3/11/2022 “ sorry your email must’ve gone into our junk folder.” At that point I should’ve known that this company was a joke. I have called them every week or every two weeks since March. I was told that there would be an update and somebody would be calling me from their insurance company after the review on April 13, 2022. Once again did not hear anything. I called again on April 28, 2022 and Micheal answered the phone. He told me that he was going to place me on a hold to call the insurance company for an update. That hold lasted for an HOUR and 20 minutes before I finally hung up. I purposely took a long lunch so I could hopefully get this resolved. I then called back on April 29, 2022 right when they opened for the day. Once again Micheal was not in yet and the person that answered the phone said sorry we must’ve forgot you were on hold. At this point I just want a refund since my husband and I already purchased a new TV. I would never in my life purchase another item from this company. Especially high priced items that they will never hold up to their end of the bargain.
Like many of the other reviewers on this site, I was surprised to get a call from "First Class TVs" (based on the Caller ID) informing me that I would need to pay $140 in freight insurance to ship the TV. I immediately cancelled my order, as there are many other sites offering a similar price on the TV I wanted that do not charge for the freight insurance. Wish I would have read these reviews before I placed the order!
Fortunately I read these reviews before I placed an order. The super low price and free shipping seamed very attractive. Nowhere during checkout are you told of the additional charge for "shipping insurance". I first read the "Shipping Policy". There you are told that after the purchase is submitted, you will be informed of the additional charge. Before placing the order, I sent them an email, requesting the price. NO RESPONSE.
Scammers that call you to sell you a freight insurance on top of “free shipping”. Stay away
If I could rate this company less than one star I would. Don't buy from them no matter how their price looks. All you get is a run around and excuses. They don't answer phones and return emails. I've waited for a 65 inch tv to show up for weeks. No communication from the company had to pay insurance on delivery that is out there somewhere. Don't buy from this company.
