I cannot stress enough how awful these builders are. To use the saying ‘cowboy builders’ would be a compliment! The snagging list we compiled is huge, and they have done nothing about it. Quality of build is shocking. Tip - avoid their sales guy as he can become quite abusive!!!
Pity there isn’t a zero star option. Do not go near these developers. Snagging items are ridiculous, no handover pack, corners cut to keep costs down. Happy to talk to anyone thinking of buying from them
Do not use - I brought a home from them last year, although structurally it’s sound they never carry out any snagging and lie continuously. They do not respond to emails and the selling agent made promises of handover documents and they never materialised. If I had read these reviews beforehand I would never have brought from this company, even the workman who contract with them leave as never get paid and find the company unprofessional. I would suggest you find a professional company as I doubt these will be trading for much longer
I’m only giving a star because negative stars is not an option. EVERYTHING from step1 to handover and beyond is common trickery (through shell company owned by same people, Linea EN4). We’ve been living in a property bought from them for 4 years, as first time buyers we didn’t know any better. The house has so many defects, it’s laughable. Every tradesman who comes to deal with one of the myriad of issues (including at least 8 leaks), shakes their head at how shoddy the worksmanship is. Worst of all, his company outright lied about the kind of warranty they would provide. They tried not to pay for the snagging (I had to go to small claims court). Everything associated with the people behind this company is hell. Oh and of course, it turns out the shell company they set up to build our development was set up to be stricken so that they avoid future liabilities. Everyone associated with this company (sales people, solicitor they recommended, builders representatives) has brought on pure misery and receipt. We are facing thousands in repairs, and I get the sense that some goons are sat laughing at the misery of the people they tricked into buying their crappy houses.
BEWARE BUYERS! I have bought a property from Harvey Construction through Lanes New Homes. We moved in over 6 months ago. They initially told us that the gate would be completed before we moved in and then push back giving us multiple dates where the gates were not installed.They have been ignoring us and giving us false dates. They are passing the blame onto each other and not collaborating with the residents of these properties.Please make sure that everything has been finished before buying any properties from them.
