Dishonest dispatchers/ Unresponsive to complaint.
I used this service in May of 2018 for a ride from Babylon to NYC. The driver was courteous and prompt but the dispatchers were rude and unresponsive. The following is a summary of what happened: I paid in full on my credit card before the ride. When we arrived at our hotel in Manhattan I tipped the driver $20. When I returned home and checked my credit card statement I saw a higher charge from them than I had agreed upon. This charge included a tip for the driver! I was not told that the charge would include the driver's tip. When I called the dispatcher I was told that they would check with the driver to confirm my story. Then when they did confirm that I gave the driver cash they then told me they could not credit my credit card. They asked for my mailing address to mail me a refund. I waited a few weeks but nothing came. I called them back and was told the same thing and was assured that they would definitely take care of it this time. But yet again nothing came. I repeated this two more times with the same people at the dispatcher's office until I finally gave up, which is what I think they were hoping for! The service is overpriced for such a group of amateurs. They did arrive approximately on time (actually they were early because they did not note a 30 minute change in the pick-up time) and they got us to our destination safely, but there are better options out there that will treat you as a customer with more respect.
