Slow service and very few updates
Had my car towed to Moorefield on 2nd January 2024. After 63 days we’ve finally been to pick the car up. There seemed to be a lack of urgency in repairing the car, even though the bill was racking up considerably. Every time the garage said they would update me about the issues/ongoing work they didn’t, I had to ring every time. After over 2 months without our only car my partner rang up and seemed to gee them on a bit, as we were able to pick it up less than a week later. The work was done and we have the car back now however if you need your car back in a reasonable time frame or you want regular updates on the status of your vehicle, this isn’t the garage for you.

Avoid this company he just doesn’t care…
Avoid this company he just doesn’t care anymore I put my car in yesterday they don’t even mot them they take it somewhere else the tell you it’s failed on exactly the same thing as last year when I should have been advised to have both sides changed (rear suspension springs) and then tell you it’s £124 with the mot but charge you £164 and tell you the paperwork is in the car not no receipt nothing as I said he just doesn’t care anymore to interested in rally driving will be looking for a real garage in the future!!!

I have nothing but praise for this…
I have nothing but praise for this company. On 3rd of March my motor home went in to have a new ECU fitted and the heater fixed. Today, 10th of March it was back in this time for a new front spring. My van was returned to me fixed. The cost was allot less than expected and the interior was clean and tidy with no oily mess on the interior. I won't take my vehicles anywhere else. Thanks lads.

Made Car Worse instead of Fixing it
Took the car in to get the water pump fixed, upon collecting the car our bill was suddenly double what we'd been quoted and told that actually we need a new starter motor now too and wanted to do that there and then. There had been absolutely no problems with the starter motor prior to this and when car had previously been at a different mechanic this was never mentioned, so we declined.Today the car is now stuck in a car park due to the starter motor suddenly blowing. So we paid £310 to get one problem fixed and came away with a whole new costly problem - which he wanted to charge us to do of course. The next day, now after having 2 mechanics look all round the car, one which worked for Ford, I can now confirm that the starter motor has been purposely broken. The connection has been smashed with a hammer and starter motor rammed back in.We took the car in with a leak. He has apparently fixed the water pump. The car is still leaking from the same place it was when we took it in. It is also now a write off and we are going to have to get a new car while going down the route of small claims court. Thankfully the phone call where he quoted £160 was recorded.AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE!!!

Great Service
Booked my car as it had been misfiring and losing power (feared the worst as BMWs are usually expensive to get fixed). Left it with Stuart who did a brilliant job servicing the EGR and other parts and the car is now running better than when I bought it 6 years ago, great work at a reasonable price.

Had an ECU problem with my 5 year old…
Had an ECU problem with my 5 year old motorhome, so much so that it failed an MOT. I was at a loss of where to take it due to its size,7meters, when I was given the name of Stuart Wiseman at Moorefield motor services. Took it along this morning and he not only repaired the ECU he cleaned the oil stain from the side of the front seat ( deposited there by a previous so called expert ). I will be taking all my vehicles to Moorfield in the future. Don't go anywhere else if you are in and around North or East Ayrshire.
