EXPERIENCE-SCORES LOOK UNTRUSTWORTHY
COMMENTING ON THE REVIEWS AND OTHER AVAILABLE INFORMATION (Sunday Times, Money Section, 16/10/22).It is surprising that almost all the reviews are either 5-Star or 1-Star (unusual to get more 1-Star than 5-Star scores). Are the 5-Star reviews trustworthy? As a former teacher of statistics rather than a customer, and having read the experience of one customer in the Sunday Times complaints section, I find this distribution of scores to have a low probability of being genuine.

Border Topsoil
I ordered border topsoil from online soil after comparing prices on the web.The soil was delivered next day and was placed where requested.The soil was lovely quality, light and fluffy with no rubbish in it at all.If i had a bigger garden i wouldnt hesitate to order again!

Do not use this company!!!!
Do not use this company! They failed to deliver two bags of topsoil citing access issues and then charged me £47 per item for the failed delivery. I couldn’t count the number of lorry deliveries I’ve had to the address over the years including topsoil from a similar, more reputable, company. The driver made no attempt to contact me and the customer service was terrible when I rang the company to complain. Do not risk your money on a product that you won’t receive!

This is the second time we have ordered the bagged top soil and again the quality is excellent and the delivery was very prompt. Very happy with the company's service and the quality of the product.

Very poor soil full of pebbles
Very poor soil full of pebbles, nothing like the dark colour shown on website.I expected better for nearly a £100 for a bag. I notice that online soil only show 5* reviews, so if you leave a negative review or anything less than 5* it won't get published in the onlinesoils reviews list.

Wouldn't recommend
Ordered soil on Wednesday afternoon for delivery on Friday by 4.30pm no delivery, made a phone call and was told that deliveries took place up to 6pm. No delivery Friday, called again Saturday was told that it should be delivered by 2pm. No delivery Saturday. Rang again Monday morning and was told that it would be delivered by midday. Delivery finally arrived Monday morning. If I hadn't made contact with office wouldn't have had any calls from company. When soil finally arrived the delivery driver was excellent and put soil as close as he could to where we wanted it. We have sent two negative reviews to company neither of which have been published! Will not be using this company again.

Very poor customer service
Very poor customer service. I paid for the soil to be delivered and assured it would be at my house for 5pm but it never arrived and no phone call explaining that. I was then assured it would be at mine for 10am the following day and it arrived at 13.30! Poor customer service ..

Paid for delivery on a specified day to coincide with my turf delivery and they messed it up, causing my turf to die, and refused to help in any way. Customer service is absolutely non-existent in this company.

Worst quality compost ever
If you want to introduce loads of unwanted weeds and seedlings into your garden then this is the compost for you.I recently purchased 2 bulk bags which I bitterly regret. The compost was partially used to dig over a large area for new grass seed. You now cannot see the grass for the weeds!As a test I filled a 2 litre pot with this compost from which I have so far pulled over 40 weeds - with more appearing all the time.A rough calculation means approx 50,000 new weeds have now been introduced into my garden.I have considerable photographic evidence which I sent to the company - they were not interested.Please do not buy this garden compost - it will give you headaches for years.

Avoid - very bad product
Ordered two bags of organic compost. Worst we've ever had - lots of stones and green balls of Osmocote - potentially with polymer plastic coating. Extra bits like cigarette butts, large bits of hard plastic and bits of plastic bags. Used some in a propagator and weeds started sprouting, and the planted seed grew very unevenly. Return policy means you have to send it back to them, which happened to cost almost the same as the a 50% discount they offered after we sent picture evidence.Avoid.
